First off, I want to state that we made a last minute reservation and the owner was great to deal with. She was extremely accommodating and very nice to deal with. I'm not sure how the property ranks with the others in the area, we paid $200 for a one night stay, which was inline if not less than what we typically expect. I believe our room was 201, located on the second floor directly over the street. The room was quiet and clean. The overall decor was an old, and appeared very patchy. Based off of some of the other photos I've seen, our room was not a remodeled room. The bed was soft, and located in a loft. Overall, I'm not certain I would stay here again at that price, I would probably opt for the Carrick. However, given the overall courtesy of management I would consider it.

I had contacted Beth privately to provide a response and an image of the injury she has yet to respond so I'll post the image here. In response to the review that was left I paid half the amount of the hotel in September, it wasn't till January when you told me about the fee, my guests had already been given their totals and going back to them with a new fee was not going to happen so I paid the fee. I agreed to it because I had no choice, I was having a wedding 4 months later. If your rooms are properly cleaned and sanitized between each guests the smell would definitely no longer be there.

Cute property but expensive for what it is. They charge you a $50 extra fee per person after two which is ridiculous as there is plenty of space for four people. It's like a one bedroom apartment and the couch folds out into a bed. There is no reason to charge extra fees for a space that already accommodates that many guests. Also you can't even burn a candle in there or you'll be charged a huge fee. Yet they have a full kitchen. I would be scared to death to use the kitchen knowing that just brining a candle will result in a violation.

My husband and I stayed in room 204 which has a private outdoor patio. First, let me say that the bedroom features the most comfortable mattress--soft yet firm with quality pillows and linens. The kitchen is complete with full-size refrigerator, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, ice maker, and keurig. You are supplied with a selection of coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as creamer and bottled water in the fridge. There is a separate living room with flat screen TV and free access to Amazon Prime, Netflix, and internet TV. Bathroom is nice and is equipped with soap, shower caps, shampoo, toothpaste, (etc.) as well as big fluffy bath towels. The suite is spacious, clean, and nicely updated. There is no front desk. The building is a brownstone with several apartments/suites. The owner is very responsive and she checks in on you via text to see that you have everything you need.Free parking is just steps from the front door. We were able to park and see our vehicle from the suite. The only negative: You must climb some steep steps to get to room 204. No elevator. Bisbee, in general, because of its historic setting and hills probably isn't the easiest destination for someone who is elderly or who uses a cane or wheelchair. Lots of steps, uneven pavement, hills. That said, it is a charming town. I could tell that the town takes pride in keeping it clean. I noticed police on patrol at night. We had a very enjoyable visit to Bisbee and the Brownstone Suites was an excellent choice for our accommodation.

Wonderful property! Our first stay and we will be back. We rented 203 and 204. The rooms are so spacious, tastefully decorated and immaculately clean. Beth makes the reservation so easy and is a wealth of helpful information regarding the area. Each room is so interesting, unique, and newly remodeled. Great central location. Well stocked, huge kitchens in each unit, just such an amazing upgrade compared to several of the other places we've stayed through the years in Bisbee.

We went to Bisbee for a family trip and chose this place because it looked spacious and clean in a convenient location. It was those things but unfortunately, also many other not so great things. First, off when we got there the paint fumes were overwhelming. Apparently, the main hallway and other rooms were being painted. I'm sensitive to toxic fumes and that really put a damper on enjoying the apartment. The space itself is nice and spacious. It's clean although a bit out-dated. Think a 1980s remodel. The location is convenient since you can walk to the downtown and there are plenty of restaurants and shops close by. However, we soon discovered that being on "Brewery Gulch" comes at a price. It was very loud, music playing and people yelling and hollering outside until nearly 3am. We found there were ear plugs provided and understood why. We managed to sleep but if you just want to hang out and watch a movie or relax in the apartment, the noise outside is very disruptive. Also, if you want to sleep in, forget about it. There are large windows throughout which makes it a bright space, but as soon as the sun rose it was impossible to sleep. It's very bright and could definitely use some black out curtains. Another concern was for the safety of my toddler. The apartment is listed as kid-friendly but I wouldn't say it is for children or anyone that's elderly or has mobility issues. We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment and the bedroom is up a very steep set of stairs. I was worried about my daughter the whole time and had to watch her like a hawk. There's also a set of steep steps to get to all the apartments. We understand this is a very old building and to some that can be charming but be aware those steps can be treacherous. Finally, to top it all off once we checked out I received my receipt over email and it was for more than $200 than I agreed on when we booked it. Turns out the owner charged a $50 fee for my mother staying with us on the pull-out couch. She lives about an hour from Bisbee and when she had the opportunity to join us for the weekend, she did. Considering it's a large apartment with the accommodations for a third person--sleeper sofa, bedding and towels--we didn't think anything of it and didn't notify the owner. The other charge was $150 for a "penalty violation." I travel with my medical alert dogs everywhere I go. They're trained to detect seizures before they happen and keep me safe. They're highly-trained, small dogs and able to stay anywhere with me without causing any damage. In fact, they've traveled the world with me without ever having any issues. But the owner of the apartment didn't know this and didn't even bother to come ask. We didn't see her during our 2 days there so apparently, she was watching us on the camera mounted above the main set of steps. It's a bit creepy to think of being watched over like that. If she had simply come to speak with me or even sent a text, I could have explained it to her and even provided her with my dog's certification paperwork. Anyhow, I got the penalty issue resolved with Booking.com which promptly reversed her charges. Still, she received the funds and it was only because of their good customer service that I was refunded. All of this--and even writing this review--has taken considerable time and attention. Not something I hoped for from a simple family weekend away to Bisbee. I felt compelled to write this review--which I don't often do--to let others know this apartment and it's owner are not so great. I bet you can find much better in Bisbee which by the way, is a great little town. We especially recommend Cafe Roka where we enjoyed a delicious fine-dining experience and Cafe Cornucopia for a healthy, fresh lunch and the Patisserie Jacqui for incredible pastries (best croissant outside of France) and tarts.

Love this place. It feels like a whole home with the furnishings and kitchen. It's the only place we stay in Bisbee.

We came and stayed here 2 weeks ago, and Bisbee Brownstone did not disappoint. The Inn was conveniently located, walking distance to all the unique shops and restaurants. The large room makes movement within the room very comfortable. The room was well equipped with a full kitchen that has anything you would need to make a nice dinner right there. The bed was large and very comfortable and I liked the color and the decor in the room. It was very tastefully done, and to me, many would like it. The rooms were absolutely flawless, so much so that it was hard to leave. The impeccable service and hospitality from the owner made our stay even better! She was beyond helpful, absolutely superb service! This is an example of how business should be done and is a lost art. This will always be our go-to place when we visit Bisbee. I wish more businesses took so much pride in their work.
