Bisbee Books and Music

This isn't a big bookstore, but they have a fun selection of books on Bisbee's historical past and ghost sightings. They do have a very small selection of guitars but nothing really worth checking out if you're a serious musician. They get extra points though for their display of banned books they carry at the front of the store. Some of the books that have been banned in schools are amazing, such as Animal Farm. I remember when this was required reading in some of my old high school classes. It's worth checking this place out.

We stopped by while exploring Bisbee the other day. The owners were so friendly and very pleasant while answering all of my 11 year old sons questions. They have a great selection for being a smaller store and they are happy to help order anything you're looking for if they don't have it. If you're in the area it's definitely worth a stop - they have records, books, games, toys and even art supplies. Something for everyone so check them out!

I heard of an example of exemplary customer service by the new owners. A Florida customer who needed art supplies for a Mother's day gift contacted Bisbee Books for help. After working with the customer to select items within his budget over the phone with pictures, Ken wrapped and personally delivered the gift for his customer.

Wish I could give it zero stars... The guy who works in there strumming his ukulele was beyond rude to us and another customer that was in there. I would suggest going elsewhere for books unless you feel like being treated like crap. The second he did what he did, all the customers left the store. Being polite goes a long way...

I came in to this amazing bookstore a couple months back during pirate weekend! My girl and I loved this bookstore and were very welcomed by both owners! They recommend a Nautilus puzzle, which we are doing now and are blown away by how accurately their recommendation was to us! Thank you so much! We will be online ordering from them and when we can make it back to Bisbee we will definitely stop in!

On December 7, 2019, as a featured artist, part of the Bisbee Books and Music Artist Series, I felt honored. This independent bookstore is a gem. Not only can you find just about any book on the history of Bisbee and it's surroundings, as well as a plethora of other books for literature buffs, children, with games to delight, there's musical options abounding...and reasonably priced art supplies, along with an ecclectic collection of clean used records. As the guest artist I was treated to a delicious lunch, the table for my art well placed in advance, and secure accomodations. This store is fast b coming a well loved hub in Old Town Bisbee. I highly recommend a visit here, especially for the holidays, as what better gift to give but art, music and books! 5 stars for sure! Thank you.

I stopped in on a whim while wandering around Bisbee and ended up purchasing Christmas gifts. The shop has such a cool collection of local items and the employees are super-friendly without being overbearing. I will definitely use their online ordering/shipping feature when I return home because supporting small local businesses is important!

I love this store, I try to make it down to Bisbee a few times a year and every time I'm there I have to stop in at this magical shop. I say magical because every time I'm there they have something I'm absolutely interested in or the exact thing I was looking for or occasionally something I didn't know I needed. The most recent occasion was in November when I stopped in, I bought a book from the poet outside who was doing a signing and I really dug his verse. Once I went inside I didn't know if I was going to buy anything further until I looked to my right at the checkout and there was Turquoise paint. I'm an artist and I had just had a dream the previous night of a painting using that color. The only thing is, I didn't have that color at home and there it was. Not only that, but it was super inexpensive. So I picked that up.The friendly gentleman who rang me up said he'd like me to send a picture of the painting once it was done and I said I would. I finished it late last night and sent it to them. I also thought I could thank them here. I love this store and there's always something super cool that happens when I visit.
