I shoot to kill

SOOOOOO FUN and the woman that works here is a hoot! You can't leave Tombstone without trying your hand and shooting a long barrel single shot revolver...just like the gold ol' days...except these guns use pellets that shoot paint (not paint balls....they are shaped like bullets) at the human shaped targets. It's only $3 bucks for 6 shots, but be warned....it's addicting. The cool little shop along the main drag also hosts poker games! The woman that worked there is a hoot and a blast

I love guns. There. I said it. So walking in to Big Iron Shooting Gallery, the aroma was inviting. We shot the sh*t with the shopkeepers and paid a couple bucks to shoot at some targets on the wall with revolvers loaded with shells filled with paint capsules. There are several different old west revolvers to choose from for this fun filled activity. These guns literally have no recoil whatsoever so even a child could have a shot at it. Pun intended. There is a poker table set up in the back and they do a Wednesday night No-Limit Texas Hold'em table. Sounds like fun!

I stop by here every time I'm in Tombstone. I fire paint at all the targets because, that's just fun! I often shoot all the guns because they're all classic authentic 44 calibur guns and because I like to patronize a business I want to stay in business. They have real ammo at competitive prices as well as holsters and other leather goods. The place is also a card room during the evenings, I think. You get the authentic western experience here.I always look forward to my next visit to Tombstone, going to the Big Iron shooting gallery. The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. Don't miss this experience when you're in town. You don't want to leave and then wish you'd stopped iby.

Cool little stop in Tombstone. Kids wanted to shoot some real pistols and this was a cheap way to let them try it. They don't use real ammunition so it's very safe and really fun. The staff take time to show you how to shoot of yours beginner and they are really friendly. Cost is $3 for six shots and they have several pistols to choose from. Great little stop for the family. Glad we stopped in.

(not really)It's $3 for 6 shots (Paintball shots that is but at least they're still fired from a revolver JUST like the old days)the gallery is run but a guy & his Chinese wifeINTERESTING stop & might as well since it's cheap

Update to previous. Still awesome. Just wanted to note that they moved to a location on Allen Street (across from the Bird Cage Theater). It's a larger space.

During our day trip to Tombstone we had to stop by the shooting gallery! For only $3 you get 6 super fun paint ball rounds in a real gun! I was a little nervous, working a real gun and all, but it was really fun, not scary at all! A nice couple runs the place and they are sure to explain that you won't be hurled to the back of the room when you shot and encourage you whole time..."whoa! In the shoulder!" etc. Definitely worth a few buck and a few minutes of your time!

A very fun little place. My dad and I shot a few rounds each. I wasted my first few shots because I didn't know my bullets were actually paintball pellets. Cost is only $3 for six shots.BIg Iron will be moving from their side street location up to Allen Street in the next month. Hopefully being on the main drag will bring in even more business.

I guess this is a cool place to bring your kids or not-so-gun-savvy friends if they want to brag afterwards about having fired a "real gun". I just wish they'd treat their firearms - loaded with simmunition or not - as though they were loaded with live, lethal rounds.I watched them hand the guns off to kids who were barely large enough to hold the gun up themselves, without reminding them to keep the barrel pointed "downrange" (which is a whopping five feet in length) for the sake of other customers' safety and comfort, if not their own. They also don't provide hearing or eye protection, which makes their claim to safety even more laughable.Their custom-stamped brass made a cool gift for a fellow gun-enthusiast friend, but if I could've bought it somewhere else - away from the gross mishandling of loaded firearms and hearing-damaging dB levels - I would've done so.

It's been a couple years since we were there but every time I see these pictures they remind me of how poorly this guy treated my son. My son is well behaved, well mannered, and listens well. Without any cause, this guy talked to him as if he was a criminal and barely able to chew gum. I wasn't even participating but he was also looking at me like I or my son was going to haul off and rob the town with his stupid paint gun. My son enjoyed it but I wanted to throat punch this guy.
