This was a learning experience. Salvage bikes and parts. Clothing at rock bottom prices. Most are size large and smaller. I was looking for an extra road bike jersey. Or two. Not today. But this place is all about bikes, education and the sharing of tools for a fee. Very busy. Worst part of town. Eye opening.

It's been years since I've been there .It felt like only the faces & location changed. We went in to find parts to refurbish a vintage adult 3 wheeler...a trike. We found basically everything we went in for there. The person at register was extremely helpful( I cannot remember name). We thank you for being kind. Please note masks are mandated and if you don't have one they will provide one for you.We hope to take trike in so they can see it.

Walked in today with interest in getting a bike. A few steps in, my friend and I were told we had to wear a mask, today being 11/05/2023. This shop is still living in the early 2020s. I left and told them how stupid their policy is on my way out. I plan to buy a bike elsewhere and recommend others do too.

BICAS is a wide open fiery heart amongst the grey grey ashphalt, careless traffic & the working class blues. BICAS is a beacon of hope, community & self sustaining skill. I came to this city with almost nothing & knew no one. I walked in and was welcomed with open arms. I was invited to a movie night immediately. I was also given the opportunity to offer work/trade for inhouse funds to go towards services or a bicycle of my very own! What a special magical place. I worked for 10 hours and bought an "as-is" bike. I signed up for shop time at a sliding scale and worked on my bike with help! I bought new parts super cheap and learned how to tune up my bike. Yes, I own a bike and you know what else? I understand it too. I really earned my bike, in knowledge and effort. How beautiful! How amazing! And what a wonderful feeling!

This is a great place to donate bikes you have parked and unused. People are able to learn to refurbish them and keep them functional while having a means of transportation or recreation.

I just bought a used bike from Bicas and had a great experience! As soon as my partner and I walked in we were greeted by a friendly cashier. She immediately helped us navigate the store and how everything works. Essentially, this is the place for bike repairs and used bikes! They have all the parts you need and are really truly helpful. As far as the used bikes go, some have been tuned up by employees, others are as they were when donated. They sell adult bikes as well as children's bikes. We went ahead and looked at the bikes that had been worked on. They allow you to test ride bikes out in the parking lot, which I did. The brakes work extremely well and the bike was able to change gears. The only part missing on the bike was the kickstand, which I can live without. I ended up paying $124 for the bike and was able to snag a free helmet (they have a bin of free helmets!). They also sell bike locks, baskets, etc. I've been really happy with my bike since I bought it and just overall enjoyed my experience at Bicas. Definitely plan on visiting again if I ever need to work on my bike or buy a new one :)

Wow they're great! They have a huge selection of used sears tires tubes etc. to purchase. I love that they're available and accessible to people that may not have enough money to keep their bike up. Super love this place. They got my flat taken care of in 20 minutes for only eight dollars. They offer a sliding scale for people who may not be able to pay much super affordable!
