Beyond Bread

First time out of Tucson airport and was recommended to try Beyond Bread from a colleague. Ordered Brad's Beef as it's labeled as a favorite--bread was nicely toasted, beef was warm and tasty, cheese nicely melted. As you might expect from airport food, I'm not sure the value is there for the price, but no complaints about the taste or presentation. Also having a large iced chai tea which, while a little sweet, is quite tasty as well.

So this review is solely based on the King's Cake, it is absolutely positively a zero! Dry dry dry layers with extra sugary laced with what seems disgusting fake cinnamon and extra large dyed granulated sugar that is just disgusting to eat. To top all this horrid mess, let's add aHefty $29 price tag on it.Beyond Bread should be ashamed of selling this crap they are calling Kings cake. A fry's cinnamon roll would have been 100 times better.

Good breakfast sandwich. Egg bacon and provolone Good service but staff could be a little more congenial.

While I have never been to an actual brick and mortar location; I felt this place really did the name justice. I ordered the Fridas Flight sandwich and a water which was right around $20. Service was friendly and you can expect to grab and go.

We re flying out of Tucson International. We ate earlier at home so just need a hot chocolate and a water. Oops, not offered. Ok, No sale.

The Ignacio's Italian egg sandwich was so delicious! Hearty breakfast with fresh basil and Parmesan - totally hit the spot. Tasty coffee, too. Can we have one of these in Austin please?

It makes me so sad to write this review because beyond bread is typically so good. Well apparently the airport location does things differently. Often staffing at airport businesses is done by a third party so that may be why. I got their avocado toast which I thought would be hard to mess up. But the avocado on the bread was clearly processed and squeezed from a bottle. It was about $6 more than something of such poor quality should be. The bread didn't taste fresh either. There were almost no flavors present in the toast. I like the other BB locations a lot, but I'd say avoid this one. I don't think the airport location should even be called by the Beyond Bread name, it's an insult to the brand.

We ordered a sandwich at the airport location. The bread was delicious, the turkey was plentiful (no skimping!) and the service was friendly. Great place!
