This appears to be a new tea restaurant off of 4th Avenue, so it is kind of sparse inside with decor and places to sit. There is a neat chalkboard full of artwork and scribblings inside that gives it a bit of a hip vibe. However, the menu is HUGE and pretty extensive. There seems to be a lot of dairy free options for those who have allergies or who are vegan. The drinks we tried that day were a banana pudding drink and an Italian soda that had an ocean name...(can't remember what that is). Both were extremely tasty, especially with the banana pudding drink that had a rim of Nilla wafers around it! Those may be seasonal drinks, since they aren't on the website's menu. They weren't too sweet, the taste was fresh, and they were both delicious. The service was wonderful-the cashiers were friendly, but not overly so, and they appeared to be having fun as they worked. All in all I can't wait to go back and try some more drinks.

Not your typical, expected boba shop. My friends got a Thai tea and brown cinnamon snow. These drinks were what you would expect from a boba store, no complaints. The fruit teas were just ok, not outstanding. I wish they had a better selection of popping boba and jellies. The Italian soda was not good at all. It tasted like flat soda.

This place is not your traditional boba shop. Their toppings are limited to sub-par house made boba and pre-made popping boba, no traditional toppings like red bean, grass jelly, or aloe. The in house boba has no flavor, usually it's sweet like honey or brown sugar, and it's more mushy than bouncy. What they lack in Asian flair they make up in different flavors you wouldn't see in a traditional boba shop. I got the watermelon lemonade with cherries and strawberry popping boba, and it was TART and pricey -- $7 for a small. It had no watermelon flavor but aesthetically was cute and full of glitter. My friend got a blended drink that was was on the icier side with larger chunks of ice instead of a smoother snow texture. The shop itself has bright, almost surgical lights, which isn't too inviting at night time. It also took awhile to get our drinks and we were the only ones there. This place is on the newer side, so I acknowledge that, but this place was definitely not my cup of tea for boba drinks.

Really neat soda shop concept that tries to do every trendy beverage under one roof. We're talking Hawaiian shaved ice, milk tea, and even some Mexican slushies (raspados?) in one place. Great for when you want a cold dessert but can't decide on anything in particular. The add ins include all sorts of boba, popping boba, and jellies, but I had my taro milk tea straight up. Simple and tasty. Also tried an iced chocolatey beverage that had some brown sugar jellies at the bottom. It was great! Next time, I'll be more adventurous with my flavors--maybe go with a chamoy-mango slush or toasted sesame shaved ice. This place isn't perfect--if you know you want boba, a standalone boba spot will be better, and so on. Prices are also pretty steep--a larger milk tea with boba might set you back like 9 bucks. But it's fun, service is good, and there's a level of variety I'm just not seeing anywhere else. I know people liked the old ice cream place that used to be here, but it's long gone and the new spot is such an improvement. Hoping Better Bevs sticks around for more summers to come!

My daughter and I had to run downtown today so we decided to hit 4th Avenue for a quick bite. My daughter mentioned that there was a new boba place on 4th and being big fans of all things boba, we headed to Better Bevs. Walking in, we were immediately overwhelmed by the huge menu of choices. Don't get me wrong. That's definitely not a bad thing and there were many choices if boba isn't your thing! After perusing the menu for a while, my daughter chose a pistachio milk tea with traditional boba and I chose a strawberry cheesecake milk tea with strawberry popping boba. We also ordered grilled cheese sandwich each, knowing full well with only 3 sandwiches on the menu that food definitely isn't their forte. The drinks were made quickly and the sandwiches came shortly after. The staff were all friendly and inviting, so zero complaints about the service. Our boba tea was AMAZING! I'm a bit angry that I ordered the strawberry cheesecake milk tea because it was so good, I'll be hard-pressed to try anything else! I will definitely have to make myself try something different next time. Maybe. I also tasted my daughter's pistachio milk tea and it was delicious too.Now for the sandwiches. We really weren't expecting much, so I guess we weren't disappointed. Was it the worst grilled cheese we've ever had? No, certainly not. Did it make either of us maybe inappropriate sounds in public because it was so tasty? Again, no. The bread was tasty (sourdough maybe?) and it was grilled nicely but it was very dry. I'm pretty sure no butter was harmed in the making of these sandwiches. Boo hiss. It was nowhere near worth $4.50. Maybe add some butter, use thicker bread and include a small bag of chips. Bam. Now it's worth $5.All in all, we will definitely be returning. We will just make sure to eat beforehand or afterward.

My nephew brought me here saying its the best, and wanted me to experience it since I love boba, and milk teas. Unfortunately, this was just ok. Not bad but not great either. Just the middle of the mill hoba around town. The atmosphere is cool though. They have a chalk wall that everyone writes or draws whatever they want, and the music is cool along with the big menu hanging over the counter. The customwr service was also good. The drinks themselves though, should be the star of the show, but instead they were the most basic thing there. Dont get me wrong if im walking by and want some boba i would go, but there r way better places with way more flavor in their drinks. I say give it a shot and see what you think. It might have just been an ok 3 drinks we got haha. Good luck people :)

If you are a big boba fanatic... I would pass on this place ): It's definitely a good place to take kids on a hot day since the place is very spacious and well air conditioned. However... I don't think the syrups they use with their tea goes well together. The strawberry hibicious tea I got was mediocre. The boba wasn't bad but the drink itself did not go well together and for $7 bucks.. not worth it..

Came across this nice beverage shop after dinner last week. Wow these teens can make good drinks and the ambiance is groovy. Service was excellent. Definitely gonna come back to try one of their many drinks from their extensive menu.
