just very disappointed with our rib dinners. They had a tough skin on the back. our sever Pricilla never refilled our drinks or checked to see if we needed anything. guess we won't go back there on our way back home

Brooklyn Boy's round 2 -- came back for lunch and got the peppered pastrami (not my choice) and hot dog with sauerkraut. The special of the day was brisket dip which would've been my choice, or the brisket, or the corned beef, but since I am not able to finish a whole sandwich on my own I had to share and sharing means letting someone else order some of the time.Pastrami isn't one of my faves, and this one was kinda on the dry sice. The hotdog had tons of sauerkraut, which was great since I LOVE kraut but the hotdog was just a hotdog. The bread bun was a very soggy by the time we got to it, so I didn't like that part at all -- due to the copious amount of kraut. We also got to try the potato knish and that was good! It's a potato-cake crispy on the outside and mushy on the inside. I've had knish before at Benjie's -- the meat kind with gravy -- and it was gross! This potato I could eat again.I'm still standing by the Reuben I had on my first visit!

I could hardly finish the Reuben sandwich I had for lunch today. I gave the other half to my hungry co-worker. For $6, I thought the portions would be smaller than the other $10+ sandwiches. But it was even bigger. I had the pastrami on my previous visit, but I might have to give the edge to the Reuben this time around.Corned beef was piled high, with a generous amount of sauerkraut. There were a few fatty slices of corned beef, but I don't mind eating occasional fat. Fat tastes good. Make sure to squeeze a bit of the Russian dressing (pink colored) and eat it fast. The sauerkraut makes the bottom toasted rye bread soggy in no time, so it can get a bit messy to eat. The coleslaw and potato salad tasted better too, for some reason. I even tried their Sloppy Moe slider sample, which reminded me a bit like "cha siu" BBQ pork with a touch more sweetness, if you're familiar with those flavors. Tasty and messy as a sample, but not sure I would order it on its own. They even had Diet Dr Pepper cherry. Yeah, I got excited over that. Wow, I'm such a food nerd.

Friendly people and hearty, tasty food. I got the turkey melt with Russian dressing which came with slaw, potato salad, a pickle and a can of soda for $6.00. It was one of the less expensive sandwiches on the menu and it was really good. Watched the Brooklyn Boy himself cut the meat on the slicer. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of their sandwiches.http://twitter.com/brooklyn_boys I heard via Twitter of free samples of Matzo Ball soup. It was tasty and was great on a semi-chilly day. Although I agree with Lisa M. on her review that the prices are steep, it is a whole combo, a hearty sandwich plus extras and a drink. I think you would be paying the same or around nine bucks for the same at any sandwich shop. And this is no sandwich shop, its a deli on wheels. I enjoyed lunch and hope these nice people making good food are able to stick it out and spread the word on their (super clean and yummy) food truck.

Turkey Melt - The sandwich had an extremely generous portion of turkey with some amazing melted cheese and toasted bread. By itself, the sandwich would be pretty dry, but adding the Russian dressing makes this sandwich so good. This sandwich costs only $6 and comes with a drink, potato salad, cole slaw and a delicious kosher pickle.Matzo Ball Soup - coined as the "Jewish Penicillin", their soup is a delight to your taste-buds. Definitely big enough to be your whole meal or to split up into two sides... all for only $4.Sloppy Moe - after eating this sandwich I may not try anything else there. A perfect combination of brisket, pastrami, corned beef mixed with carmalized onion, anaheim chiles, and a sweet and sour bbq sauce. Let's just say this is heaven in your mouth. Combined with the typical sides (potato salad, cole slaw, soda, and pickle). This sandwich alone has raised my rating of Brooklyn Boys to 5 stars.

As much as I wanted to love the pastrami sandwich here, it just didn't quite measure up with the great ones I've had (e.g. Katz's, Langer's and Benjie's). Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad; it's the result of having been spoiled by some spectacular pastrami sandwiches. To start, hand-carved versus thinly-sliced makes a world of a difference, and Benjie's is the only thin-slicing pastrami place I'd go out of my way for. Having said that, BBD serves up a good sandwich considering they're coming from a truck. On top of that, Marc is extremely friendly and generous (he gave us samples of his Matzo ball soup, Sloppy Moe and an energy drink) and the prices are very reasonable considering a sandwich, sides and a drink will easily cost you twice as much at any of the aforementioned places.Speaking of the Sloppy Moe... that's what will bring me back to this truck.Three stars for the sandwich and a star for Marc and his Sloppy Moe.

A reuben, potato salad, cole slaw, drink, and a free latke for 6 bucks?!?! AND its right in the Bruery parking lot so we can drink before and/or after?!? Great food, very friendly service, takes card and tax is included (Kogi could take note of the last two). Reuben was hot and very good, the potato salad was great and just the right amount and the slaw was way better than expected since I don't normally like it. The free latke was also a great bonus. A side of apple sauce would have been nice, I would have gladly paid for it.

I am sure their 10$ sandwiches rocks, but I just couldnt bring myself to spend 10$s on a sandwich. regardless how high of a pile of meat i get. its just a lot of money. However, Brooklyn Boy's does have a good balance and choices between their 10$ sandwiches. Their Reuben only costs 6$s, the best Rueben i have had. Such a simple dish. The Saurcrat, nice toasted Rye bread, delicous hot pastrami. It couldnt get better. and it comes with the Potato Salad, and cole slaw and a pickle. and a drink. I am sold!!! and guess what - no tax. so 6$ sandwich comes about 6$s. nothing more. I will be back for their Reuben.

Second time at RUSH first time we had BBQ which was excellent. Went back again today to try the Indian dishes they offer. After 20 minutes of waiting to be served we gave up and left . I can understand if the place was busy but it wasn't.
