Barro's Pizza

My son and I agreed to meet here for Christmas Eve. I left from Sierra Vista and he from Tempe. It was a 1:40 hour drive for both of us. The place was open until 6pm and we got there at 2pm.The place was not too busy as we walked in. We ordered a large Barro's Special pizza with both ham and pepperoni. We both had a pint of Angelo's Ale (brewed by Four Peaks out of Tempe, a mellow ale) and my DIL had a Diet Coke. The bill came to $37 which wasn't too bad. Our server was fast and friendly.The large was just the perfect size for three adults. We were all hungry and left with no leftovers. The sauce was spicy-tangy. The crust was thick but not what I would call "Chicago style."The dark wood interior reminded me of another Chicago area pizza company. Chicago landmark photos adorned the walls and there were TVs on all the walls.

New location looks fabulous. Not as many Chicago posters as previously displayed. Has an old Chicago feel about it though. Very roomy. One con, not a fan of the hand blowers in the washroom.

The new location is absolutely amazing! They have sandwiches too now! Counter girls were just so sweet and this meatball sub is out of control! Whoever is cooking back there is killing it. Get in there! Run!‍ feed your face!

The pizza here is good and not expensive. The cashiers are always nice and the food always arrives to table hot and in a short amount of time. It's a kid friendly place where you can also get a quiet table at the other end of the restaurant. It's a good place to stop and have lunch.

Great spot - easy to order on line. Thin crust option is excellent. Nice flavor with the Ceaser salad. Staff very friendly and efficient.

This is the best Barro's I've been to. Clean, great food and nice people. The manager Tyler Newman came out since they were busy and was amazing not only to the clients but to the employees. All managers should act like he did. Great job Barro's!!!!!!

What a great place! Have gotten take out and have dined in here. Both experiences were excellent. To start, the food: soooooo good. I've had the cheese ravioli both times and added meatballs. Just perfect for what I was craving. The pizza looks so good too. They also have sandwiches, salads, and wings. Something for everyone. Can't wait to try more of their items! They also serve alcohol! The service: super helpful, friendly, and thoughtful. You order at the counter and they either give the pizza to you directly or bring your food to your table when it's ready. My mom and I shared an order of cheese ravioli and they automatically brought out two plates for us, without us even having to ask. The ambiance: the Chicago theme is great! I can definitely see this being a great spot come football season, especially if you're a Bears fan. They have a couple of claw machines, arcade games, and a toy kitchen too, so they've got stuff to occupy the kiddos as well.Can't wait to come back!

Their food is consistent, fairly priced and always a crowd pleaser! The front of house workers are kind and respectful. The management handles situations with grace and dignity.

Extra sauce makes it so good, then the crust does not taste like cardboard, went three times a month before moving farther away. Very reasonable prices.

Had dinner again at barro's . The food is amazing. The service is outstanding and the ambience is perfect. It's like being treated like family when you go in if you have not tried this restaurant you definitely have to once you try it you'll be hooked and you'll wanna come back and it'll be on the top of your list. I'm so glad I found this restaurant. What a Gem! Thank you to Jaden for bringing sunshine to the table. A big thank you to everyone at the front counter for all the great service that I always get when I come in and special thanks to the cooks for their excellent food that they make. I can't eat pizza anywhere else I'm hooked the mozzarella sticks are great. The salads are amazingand you can just go in and sit and relax and enjoy your meal. Thank you again to everyone.
