Barone Health Center

Doctors Knight and Barone are easily reached and very responsive. I have used the teleconference appointments several times and really enjoy them. I like the fact that Barone Medical Center stays updated on the latest medical news and technology. I highly recommend either doctor as a PCP.

Sorry, guys, but I can't agree with all the prose written about this office and medical practitioner. We've tried several times to have referrals written for some skin issues only to be ignored. IMHO, our care has been less than thorough with little to no follow up on what has transpired after our Medicare paid for and suggested visits. If we haven't agreed with suggestions, it seems the issue gets dropped rather than alternatives suggested. Issues with medication tend to be left in a "that's not our problem" arena. So, while the other folks tend to think this practice is the best thing since sliced bread, I tend to disagree.

I highly recommend Dr. Jeff Barone and the Barone Health Center to anyone contemplating a new primary care, acute pain care, and even chronic pain care. I started seeing Dr. Barone over a year and a half ago to help me treat both my chronic pain and GP needs. After my first visit I knew that this practice was much different than the others. His office schedules their patients in a way that he can spend time with them and address their specific needs. I never felt like I was in a rush and I rarely ever waited longer than 5-10 minutes from my scheduled time to see Dr Barone. The office is managed very efficiently and friendly. Complicated insurance changes, prior authorizations, record requests, and other requests are handled promptly and professionally. I have never waited longer than 1 business day to receive a return call or e-mail. I felt like my chronic pain and everything that was involved with that type of treatment (government oversite, medication management, insurance requirements, etc...) was managing my life. Dr Barone and everyone involved at the practice was able to treat my pain and address other anxieties and deficiencies I had that did not even know I had. Due to regulations and legal restrictions, there is a limit to amount of pain management medication Dr. Barone is able to provide. His goal (for me) was to ultimately decrease my levels of medication to a level I was not comfortable with and I (we) ultimately chose to see another pain management center for these needs. However, Dr. Barone and Sarah Barone (Office Manager) stuck with me for months while I was trying to find another provider and proactively helped me find one that works for me. I still see Dr. Barone for my primary care needs and even pay out of pocket to see him since my new insurance in not yet covered in his office and will continue to do so. My tenure at Barone Health Center has increase the quality of my life and I would recommend anyone at least give the Barone Health Center a try.

After having chronic back pain for years. I researched a techique called Graston/ (IASTM) instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization. After weeks of research I discovered that Dr. Jeff Barone is only one out of two providers in Tucson that offers this technique. Not only does Dr. Barone specialize in this, he has more years of experience practicing this. Dr. Barone is a very friendly guy and he actually listens to you and tailors the treatment to your concerns. After minimal treatments I was healed. I honestly thought his treatment was a joke and my pain would come back, however it has been several months and I am currently pain free (thank you). I recommend Dr. Barone for sports injuries, post surgical rehab, and/ or chronic pain. Dr. Barone is a wizard at what he does. The Staff at his office is very friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Thank you
