Absolutely love the new location, even if it's a bit unorthodox, as this is actually the new truck on the patio of The Nugget! There are some items that are a bit different from the brick & mortar locations. Instead of stuff like green juice, you can expect tasty bar food. You can certainly enjoy their unparalleled banh mi, but you can switch it up and get the banh mi fries instead, topped with grilled chicken, carrots, cucumber, and lemongrass mayo. There's nothing around that's quite like it in the area. They've also got burgers, or even tacos. Service is outstanding and these guys make everything just right. Pairs well with a cocktail from the Nugget's outside bar!

My schedule can be kinda awkward sometimes so finding good restaurants that are open late is a bit of a struggle for me. That's why I was surprised that I had never heard of this bhan mi shop which is supposedly open until 2am. Deciding that it was finally time to get a break from my midnight Taco Bell routine, I decided to check this place out. And I have to say, I was genuinely shocked by the quality.The food is kind of a fusion between the standard Vietnamese bhan mi format with Cajun flavors. And it just works. The food is seriously delicious with quality meat and toppings. I got the Birria bhan mi, and with the sauce it's seriously something else. Warning for those who can't handle heat, don't be afraid to take off some of the peppers cuz they really don't hold back. Additionally I got the popcorn shrimp on the side, and while I do wish the shrimp were larger, whoever breaded them knew what they were doing. I do wish I got to eat at the outdoor patio setting (sorry about my crappy phone camera), but while I was waiting it was plenty comfy and I really wasn't waiting all that long since the service was so efficient.All in all: I'm glad I've found a new late night spot and I'll definitely be going back again to try out the Cajun shrimp bhan mi!

This is the new location of the amazing Bahndicted truck serving the patio of The Nugget bar. I'm not sure how they do it but their food is absolutely delicious. They did a great job creating a comfy and attractive outside space. The association with the Nugget is great too. We ordered our food, popped inside to get a drink at the bar, took it outside and enjoyed all the deliciousness with some sunshine. The owners are very warm, welcoming people. Also, if you're a fan of the store location, did you know you can get items here that you can't get in the store? Try the fries and the wings. Bring a few friends so you can get the sandwich too and not feel guilty. Highly recommended.

With great bahn mi sandwiches, delightful outdoor environment, and super friendly and amiable staff, it's hard to go wrong with Bahndicted. I sat in the patio chatting to the staff for the entire time I waited on a car, learning more about their story. Will be back next time I'm in Tucson again!

Outstanding news that Bahndicted has opened a second location in NE Tucson. The Bahn Mi sandwiches are phenomenal, and the service is outstanding. They are in the shopping area that has the Basha's at the intersection of Kolb and Sunrise. Their original location is also great, but a bit of a drive if you are not close to the West side of Tucson. I had the AZ Special banh mi sandwich and it was great. Bread was perfect, very flavorful and definitely spicy. Has Vietnamese ham (cha lua), steamed pork belly, liver pate, mayonnaise, pickled veggies, cucumber, and jalapenos. Absolutely delicious. Don, the owner, also recommended a Thai Black Tea which was a perfect pairing to the sandwich. Also to note - they have breakfast banh mi sandwiches, which I am looking forward to trying. This is a small restaurant, maybe 5-6 tables, so recommend going a bit early or late to get a seat and avoid the rush.

Great food. I visit every Tuesday for the taco specials. The service is always great. Highly recommended!

Best banh mi in Tucson! My boyfriend and I rarely agree on restaurants, but we both love this place. Great selection and friendly staff.

Best Bahn Mi since moving from NY. All of the ingredients are fresh and composed well in the perfect hero roll. We have tried them all! Wish the fish/ shrimp were in the main restaurant by LeeLee's supermarket, also!
