Good food but TERRIBLE service and lousy atmosphere made the dinner frustrating and not enjoyable. I would order take out from here again if I lived close by, but not eat in the restaurant again.Six of us arrived on a cold (for Tucson) winter day mid-week. The atmosphere inside is "meh:" very bright lights, needs paint, tacky print outs with the specials taped to the walls, and it was freezing inside. We all kept our jackets on.When we arrived there were 2 tables already occupied, a table of 2 and a table of 6. There were probably 15 tables empty. After we were seated, it took about 10 minutes before anyone came over to acknowledge us, bring us water and take our order, much too long for a pretty empty place. We finally ordered 6 main courses and an appetizer. We finished the appetizer, but the waiter didn't clear the table when he brought the main courses. I had to clear the table to make room. The food was good. The curry was tasty and the stir fries looked good. The spring roll appetizer was big and delicious. After dinner, we sat there forever, dirty plates all around, waiting for the bill. We waited about 10 minutes for the bill after we were done, and finally it arrived. We quickly put out cash and credit cards, and then the frustrating wait began. We were done, freezing cold and wanted to go. The credit cards and cash sat at the end of our table for a good 20 minutes when I finally had to walk them to the host in front. Another 10 minutes passed before they were returned to us to sign. By then, we were freezing cold and boiling mad and just wanted to leave. The food was good, but there was nothing appealing about eating there. I will not go back.

I really had high hopes and was suprised that the rating wasn't higher. After eating there, I can understand why. The service was good, but not great. It wasn't too busy, but we did have a larger party. I did have to ask a couple of times for a few things. The parking lot is laid out oddly and very small. The inside of the restaurant is pretty clean. The food, the menu seemed pretty standard for a Thai place. I had the pad gra prow. The server asked for spice level and I asked 5 is Thai hot? He confirmed and I ordered 5. The 5 spice was more like a 3 at most. Supposedly pad gra prow translates to "holy basil stir-fry," but as seen in the photo not too much basil. A friend of mine gave me one of his chicken satay and unfortunately it was super bland. I'm suprised there weren't more condiment options. Normally in Thai places I've seen green pepers, chili dust, and chili oil. Not the case here, chili oil only that wasn't hot enough. In a fairly crowded Thai food market, I was hoping for better.

There's no way this place only has 3 stars! They've got amazing food! Their food is better than most of the places here in the central area. I'm ready to go back. This will be my go-to in this area.

The food was great and the waiter was very attentive. The curry was spicy but luckily the waiter guided us through the selection regarding how spicy it could be.

UPDATE 2024: The new chef is much worse. I used to get the green curry fried rice here several times a year and it was always delicious, but this time it tasted like butter, not a hint of green curry. The peanut sauce was cold. And the prices are out of control, much more so than other restaurants amidst inflation. $4.50 for a small side of white rice is ridiculous.ORIGINAL REVIEW 2017: This is the best Thai restaurant in Tucson. The food is spectacular (I love the green curry fried rice #41 and the pad see ew #25). It's also a nice atmosphere. But the service is pretty slow and the food is pretty expensive relative to other local Thai places like Karuna's, so I can't give it 5 stars. Still, I've eaten here many times and I highly recommend this place.

I've never had a bad meal at this place. I love their mango sticky rice. The chicken pad Thai is another one of my favorites Got a take out order tonight, the gentleman at the front was very kind and welcoming. Absolutely worth the drive across town
