HIGHLY RECOMMEND: BANCROFT AND ASSOCIATES Property Owner Perspective: I did business with this company for nearly 5 years. I had a great experience with them!! I am not saying this because of anything, but because I had excellent experience. I used them as a Property Management Company from June 2015 until February 2020. I am certain if people are just reasonable, rational and they try to work hand-in-hand with this company the company will work with them well. They always did by me, because I communicated well with them and got the best results. This company is a family-run company. They were always attentive to my needs, responsive to any issues with the property or tenants (e.g. HOA Notices, Maintenance, Repairs, Etc.) They took great care of my property. I couldn't believe how well my property looked on the outside as well as inside when I saw pictures (I live in Phoenix and they are located in Tucson)!! I am certain if people are just reasonable, rational and they try to work hand-in-hand with this company the company will work with them well. They always did by me, because I communicated well with them and got the best results. I can say that my experiences with this company were mostly positive. What the person reading these posts should see when reading the good and bad ones is that there are two sides to every story...If people are posting negative reviews..Why? Were these tenants being rude and demanding to the employees of this company? Were the employees maybe having an off day? Were the tenants not maintaining the property properly? Were the employees or contractors of the company maybe taking a little too long to get things done for the property? Who knows...At the end of the day people will say and do what they want and usually when people are having a bad experiences its because either they had legitimate complaints that weren't addressed or validated properly or they were doing or saying something that was wrong or erroneous and they tend to externalize blame on who they feel wronged, but may or may not be justified.I am certain if people are just reasonable, rational and they try to work hand-in-hand with this company the company will work with them well. They always did by me, because I communicated well with them and got the best results. All I know is that I always treated fairly and justly by this company. They are a company. They are running a business which aims to make a profit. They do have good hearts and I always felt that they had my best interest in mind, but also they would let me know (and charge me) when I had a duty to my tenants to repair or maintain things. These people are really great people!! They never refused to rectify anything issue while they had my property under their management. I am certain if people are just reasonable, rational and they try to work hand-in-hand with this company the company will work with them well. They always did by me, because I communicated well with them and got the best results. Please don't listen to haters or naysayers. Find out for yourself. Don't take my word for it, but don't also be influenced by people. This company has to serve three masters. They must try to take care of their tenants, they must also properly manage for the owners and lastly they must make a profit. It is a very precarious situation. I am certain if people are just reasonable, rational and they try to work hand-in-hand with this company the company will work with them well. They always did by me, because I communicated well with them and got the best results. All I have to say is yes, my situation was very positive as a homeowner. There were times I had to pay in order keep things fixed and up to par, but I also understood that this is a people business. Remember the saying: Believe only half of what you see and a quarter of what you hear. If you see a bad review...what is really the truth?? You have to remember just like a job...people who may have had problems maybe brought it on their own like eviction. Just like a firing at a job...people may be bitter..no matter whose fault. If they get their deposit deducted..what is justified? Maybe they damaged the property (maybe not) and just didn't want to admit fault. Who knows. I am certain if people are just reasonable, rational and they try to work hand-in-hand with this company the company will work with them well. They always did by me, because I communicated well with them and got the best results. That is my truth. I had a great experience and that is that!! They did well by me at every turn and angle. They had no "agenda". I knew my responsibilities, the tenants knew theirs and the company knew theirs and sometimes when someone is not communicating properly or effectively. We are a current tenant at one of their homes and they gave me no choice, but to express myself here. We have been there for 3yrs and our experience has been pretty dissatisfied and disappointing. Regardless of the negative feedback they've been receiving, they continue to mistreat their tenants and take advantage of them when possible. This is purely from my personal experience with the company so far and can not wait until our lease is over. This review is based on their business practices and customer service. We received a notice from HOA regarding our front yard the second year we lived here in 2018. This year, we received a fine letter on December 19th for a HOA violations back in June 7th and July 3rd, 2019 from Bancroft not HOA. I understand we are supposed to maintain our yard, but my biggest concern was who is responsible to send out notices to tenants? If we had received the notices like we were supposed to, we would have taken care of the yard like the last time we did. I emailed Bancroft regarding this issue trying to get answers and was told they would look into it for almost two weeks. They have added the fees to our rent money and our auto payment has stopped. We had no choice but to reset the auto payment so they can withdraw rent money on the 1st of January 2020. I hesitated to tell Alyssa about this because I knew they would disregard the matter, but I told her anyways knowing the outcome already. And sure enough, as soon as she received my email about it, she disregard the matter without answering my questions why zero notices was sent out to us and who was supposed to be responsible for it. I emailed her and told her I've expected that they would do this to us and will yelp about it. I've email our HOA community manger Shaw and she couldn't find us on their database which means we are not register as tenants living in this house. This falls under Bancroft since they are our mgmt company and obviously they refused to take responsibility for failing to send us notices or register us to receive notices from HOA. If they don't correct their mistakes, we will continue to get fine without notices and if this is a perks for them to make extra money? Then they're doing a good job so far, I don't know and can't understand. I only hope this feedback will give them a sense of responsibility and register us as the current tenant living in this property. Bancroft, if you don't want to do your job, make sure you let the owner know so they can register us as the current tenant. I've attached all of my emails with Bancroft on here because I'm not happy with their business practices and customer service. Read the emails for yourself and decides if you want to improve your business or continue to take advantages of your loyal tenants who never fails to pay rent on time. On another note, i also believe we will never get back our deposit money according to many reviews below and how they have handled things thus far. Our house is in the same conditions as when we moved in 2017! Lastly, I know you don't want negative reviews but we can't help it. Hope this feedback will encourage you to improve your business practices and customer service. Especially when you have more negative comments than positive.

Believe ALL the negative reviews about Bancroft & Associates. They truly deserve the 1.5 stars given on Yelp. If you know what's good for you, then do not give any business or any of your money to this terribly ran company. Extremely unprofessional, they have a terrible run down office, liars, sneak behind your back and will do anything to get whatever nickel and dime they can get. I feel really sorry for the renters that choose them to run their property. Tenants...Stay away from them.I'm thankful I didn't get in a contract with this company and I only wasted $50 on their worthlessness.

Having worked for a property management company previously, I was reluctant to call one to view homes for a new rental I was seeking. I saw from the inside how awful they can be. Cheap flips/repairs that take a ridiculous amount of time to complete, find ways to charge ridiculous and high fees upon moveout so they don't return most of your deposit, horrible start up costs associated such as "admin fees" or "payment portal fees". I should have gone with my gut when I read the horrible reviews about this company. I came across a few homes I wanted to personally view before dumping $1900 plus into a rental home to reside in each month. I saw 1....ONE as no one ever got back to me regarding seeing any more. I sent message after message and email and phone calls with NO RETURN call or email. This was two agents, one being the owners son Grayson, the other Kim. This is such horrible customer service and business practice. I was lucky enough to find a private owner to rent with and avoid the hassle, cost and mess of being treated poorly. Future property owners....don't hire this company to manage your investment because they don't. There is no excuse good enough to not contact prospective tenants when they reach out to ask questions or to view a home.

I recently completed a one year lease at an apartment under the management of Bancroft and Associates. This is my experience with them and their staff. The administration office is clean and welcoming! Sandra makes sure to have everything ready for you when you make an appointment by phone and it's very easy to get a hold of Sterling or Grayson by email or phone. Our door needed to be fixed the first week we were moved in and they came over within 3 days to adjust and replace the weatherproofing just in time for monsoon season 2022. Our courtyard was well maintained, swept of the leaves month and all the trees were kept tidy. Our apartment at move in was clean and easy to move into. Me and my housemate ended our lease at that apartment to seek another year lease with now a house within their management portfolio and have just completed our move in! Thank you to B&A for being responsive and reasonable to work with!

Front desk Sandra is nice but this company is a scam gave them a 30 day notice by email wouldn't accept it and told me after 30 days went by charged me "wiring repairs" after leaving when I didn't attempt to repair anything cleaned the unit and still got charged over 1,700 dollars definitely was surprised considering how other units where left dirty maybe forgot to clean a couple areas but I spend hours cleaning unit before turning in keys asked for a itemize break down of deductions still haven't received it beware with this company and definitely beware of they Bellevue apartments as one of the Bancroft actually are the owners they definitely go overboard on the deposit deduction to try to scare you

They are horrible I just rented a house that they were managing I haven't been late on rent for three years I kept my place nice and clean when I moved in it was run down already when I moved out I guess they're going to keep my security posit and they're going to charge me $1500. Beware they will rip you off when you move out so be careful I would never rent from any of their properties that they rent or manage horrible service

Do not do business with them . They take months to even visit your house when there's an issue . We had a car in into our house back in July . We moved out in the beginning of November because they still hadn't fixed the issue . There is still a nice piece of wood over where our back yard was 01/30/2022 . They arnt friendly . And they arnt willing to help . Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else . They will lie cheat and steal from you .
