Baggin's Gourmet Sandwiches

A quick bite to eat after being humbled by the golf clubs and what a pick me up, man ego recovery it was! I had the California BLT minus cream cheese add deli mustard. I chose the half sandwich and got a small dish of pasta salad.The pasta salad was goodThe BLT was amazing. The bread was fresh, Avacado creamy, bacon crispy and delicious mustard was the, well, mustard on the top. Super friendly service and I swear the lady at the register remembers everyone's names. COOKIES! I got a cookie when I ordered, a cookie with my meal (I think that is the "satisfaction in the sack" ) and I was joking around with one of the workers and she gave a third cookie! Food is always good at a Baggins! Been a while since I've been to this location. Richard was very personable. Good service. I would definitely recommend this location, although the parking can get busy.

I had lunch at Baggin's for the first time at this location a couple days ago. I ordered a Chicken Salad sandwich (Chicken Rojo), a small bag of chips and a drink. The total was $20.16 (Sandwich $14.50, Chips/Drink $4.40)! For $14.50, I was expecting the best chicken salad sandwich ever. Not so. Two pieces of sourdough bread, a small amount of chicken salad and a smattering of chopped lettuce. That's it. One of the most boring sandwiches I've ever had. For the money, this is a terrible excuse of a sandwich for a company that boasts about how great they are. First and last time.

It's been a long time since I've been in.BLT sandwich was great. Bread so soft.Quick service and place wasn't too busy so I was able to eat at a comfortable pace.Saw a friend who I hadn't seen in a while too. Great experience.

Today was the best surprise of all! My friend and I walked into this store and Lisa, manager, said, "Congratulations, you two get free lunch! Anything you want! It's customer appreciation day! We could hardly believe it, we thought she was kidding. But she gave us samples of "soup bread "" which is a garlic toast with butter and Parmesan cheese and it is amazing! And we each had a wonderful sandwich and soup and I can tell you that everybody here is so kind and sweet! What a nice thing to have happen! OK

The worst branch to order delivery from. They never got any of our orders right. I don't understand how the staff always miss on putting together orders. We do like the food, but their service is horrible! I would not recommend this place for any delivery order.

Went in to this location last weekend with my parents, on Mother's Day nonetheless. The place wasn't crazy busy at all. There were patrons inside but nothing like a typical sandwich shop lunch rush. We ordered 3 grill sandwiches: the cowboy, cheesesteak (just cheese and jalapeños), and a custom turkey build your own. The lady at the register did let us know there was about a 10 minute wait on the grill. I used to work at a different location of Baggins, so I understand that only so many sandwiches can be made on the grill at one time. We said no problem, we can chit chat for a bit on the patio and just visit. We went to the patio and sat down and chatted, and chatted...and chatted. It now has been a good 20-25 minutes that we had been waiting. So I went in and asked what was the status on our sandwiches. No one was up at the register so I had to get someone's attention that was making the cold sandwiches. The employee went to the back grill area and asked about our sandwiches and let us know that they were doing our batch next. Cool. It has been awhile so it was a little frustrating that they weren't going to be ready for at least 5-10 more minutes (way longer than the original 10 minute wait time). So we wait another 10 minutes. And mind you, these are just three basic sandwiches, nothing crazy. This time my mom goes in and asks where our sandwiches are. We had now been waiting for almost 40 MINUTES. The lady at the register told her that the cheesesteak was still being made but the other two were ready. Now, the way it works at Baggins is they don't send out your order until all the sandwiches are ready. Even if that means your hot sandwiches are no longer hot. But my mom said well, just give me the two that are ready so they don't get more cold than they already are and then when the cheesesteak is ready you can just bring that one out. So my dad and I start munching on our sandwiches, my poor mom doesn't have her sandwich, on Mother's Day of all days. Several people had already been served on the patio at this point that arrived after we did. My sandwich (the cowboy) was missing the ranch, so I went up to the counter and asked for a side of ranch, which the lady at the register gave me. Mom still didn't have her sandwich at this point. It had been 55 minutes from when we ordered (yes I checked the receipt). She goes back up to the counter and it had been sitting up there and no one has brought it out. Not only was it cold, there were several things on it that it wasn't supposed to have on it. Mom doesn't even want the sandwich at this point. They did give us two free desserts but honestly this entire experience was truly horrific. The staff apologized but it's hard to fathom that it took 55 minutes to get a sandwich, not even prepared properly. What angered me more is the staff knew we were waiting and we came in several times to check on our food. Not once did they come out to us to let us know the status of our food or apologize for the wait before my mom went in for the final time. The employee who was working the grill was the manager (at least on duty) and seemed completely overwhelmed. He said he'd reimburse our order but we have yet to see that. Can't say I'll be returning to this location any time soon.

Traveling from Phoenix for the day for a sporting event, we wanted something filling yet light and found Baggin's Sandwiches. When we arrived we stared at the menu for a while as there were so many options. Eventually, we went with 2 1/2 Grinder combos as they included a side (chose chips) and a fountain drip. I specifically had the Grilled Pastrami on Sourdough. Daniela helped me figure out the best way to load it up to my liking along with some suggestions to make my sandwich custom just the way I liked... and I did. Yelp check-in will get you a free dessert, but I didn't really need to use as Daniela offered us some freshly baked cookies when we arrived and they were just the right "sweetness" needed after our drive. The wait wasn't so bad and they have a patio area. During the winter seasons, it's fully shaded so a bit cold outside depending on when you come, but a lot of people were coming for pick up orders.

wasn't a great fit for us. portion size left something to be desired and unfortunately won't be returning.

Things have changed! Was my "go to" for years, but refuse to pay extra for sprouts, tomatoes and onion! Just raise the price of the sandwiches to cover increases in minimum wage! Don't nickel and dime me! Love the cookies too! Oops, forgot to put them in the bags!!
