This shop looks like my shop. It is not built for people to comfortably hang around. It is filled with the stuff they need to do what they do. When choosing someone to work on the hidden workings of your vehicle, you have to trust that they know what to do and that they will do what they know is right.I chose Aztec based on Yelp reviews. Let me help other yelpers. I walked in this shop and knew I picked well. These guys do Transmissions. The ultimate review is that I will take my other car to them next.

I'm very happy that we found Eddie and Aztec. We had a warning light diagnosed at a different shop where they said we'd have to replace the transmission. Aztec didn't agree, and we got it serviced instead, saving us at least $2,300 from the other guys.When the transmission does finally bite it, I'll be very happy to take it back to these guys. I only wish I had a general repair shop that I like as much.

they were honest with us.told us we should not have added the leak stop because it swells the gaskets.replaced pan gasket and flushed the transmission.bill $166told us inside looked ok. stayed open 45 min so my wife could bike there to get truck.recommended. small nicely run local business trying hard to offer value for your hard earned money.it's better to fix a leak than to spend money on fluids and pollute our storm water.

I purchased a 67 Jeep Gladiator off Tuscon Craig's List, and the TH400 auto-magic trans had some weird shifting issues, and trans fluid all over the underside. I live in California, and I **really** wanted to make sure that it would A) make it home, and B) not damage itself on the way. I called at 8:30 and was there by 9. Eddie test drove it, and told me he could fix the shifting issue with an adjustment, and inspect where the oil came from. An hour and a half later, the truck was shifting much better and Eddie reassured me that the seller had just over-filled the trans. Good, timely service at a reasonable price. What's not to like?

It was a blessing to find this shop!! My sister and I were in a road trip to Dallas from LA when our car started to leaked transmission oil. Expecting the worst we pull into Azteca shop , Eddie great us,we explained what was the problem and his team right away made arrangements to check our car. He told us that it will take some time to check cause the car was hot( it was super hot) we decided to find a place to ate lunch while we wait. Eddie recommend a place down the street. About 1 1/2 hrs. Later our car was ready to continued with our trip!!.... A mechanic in California that just put a new transmission over filled it with oil !!! Eddie 's guy only need to check the level and clean all the mess that the spill cause. SUPER HONEST GUYS!!! They could easily were be able to take advantage of the situation but they didn't!!!!! They deserve this long review... THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!! Your honesty turn our problem into a blessing!!! I will recommend them 110%

Ronnie was quick to drive with us, read engines codes, reset them, then drive some more. He recommended no transmission work necessary and referred us back to our regular mechanic. Thank you for the honesty & great service!

I've been dealing with Aztec Transmissions for several years. I am an auto enthusiast and an auto broker by trade, so I have many connections in the automotive industry. Eddie at Aztec is knowledgeable, honest, reliable and very reasonably priced! I consider Aztec to be the best service AND the best price! I have sent many friends and customers there for transmission work and everyone of them have been very happy! In the 'sketchy world' of automotive repair, it is critical to me, to have businesses/shops that I can have complete faith in: Aztec is one of those places!
