You need to work fast. In order to do a decent wash job you need $10.00. Everything was self explanatory. I took a star off as the dryer was not putting out as much air as it could have. It appeared to have a leak in it somewhere. Overall, my car looks much better.

Just remember it's a self-serve car wash so you going to get what you pay for. I did a little extreme I went through the $12 automatic wash first and then I went into the stalls to wash some things on my own because my car was extremely dirty. They have lots of good options in the self-serve area including the typical ones of power wash and power dry but they also have some pre-soaks stuff for your wheels and a brush activated to clean them off and the same pre-soak stuff you can work on getting some of the worst grime off. Like I said it's just about your expectations remember it's a self-service car wash and everything was working and everything was clean when I was there.

Auto Wash Express is my go-to car wash in Tucson -- it's clean, spacious, well-lit, and has great management. I e-mailed a question to the website and received a personal reply in just a couple of hours. It really shows that this is a family-owned business that puts customer service at the forefront. Happy to take my business here!

The last two times I have used this car wash it did not clean the rear window. We have been using it for years, and no prior complaints.

I paid $7 for a wash that did not work. There was no way to contact anyone about this issue. Hand held wash pressure is very weak and does not do a good job. I will never use this car wash again.

Easy 2 use self car wash facility. They accept cash or cards. It's well lit and safe to use 24/7.

Went to this location on Sunday, Sep 15 2019. Put a $5 bill in the change machine and it ate it. No change, no way to get my money back. I tried the credit card swiper in the stall and it didn't work. I went to another coin car wash nearby and when I got home called the listed phone number for Brian, owner of the Auto Wash Express locations in Tucson. I explained what had happened and asked for my money back. Over 24 hours later now and he hasn't returned my call. I thought I'd give him another chance. I sent an email just now to Brian's listed email address. It bounced, undeliverable. I will not be using this car wash again. The competing one on Pantano just north of Speedway is nicer & cleaner, the price is the same, and everything works.

The premises are always clean, and the equipment always works. The machine wash actually does a pretty good job of cleaning a dirty vehicle. I've never found the change machines empty.TIP: Enter from Wrightstown - trying to pull in from Tanque Verde can be dicey.

I love this place! But I am giving it a one-star this time because the automatic drive-through (soft touch) scratched the paint of my new car. I have always used the drive-through carwash with soft touch. This time, it let me down.

I visited the Catalina location this morning. I used my debit card and followed the directions exactly, including pressing the "stop" button when finished. The meter showed a little under $7. Fine, but the charge through my debit card was placed at the full $12. To make it worse, the contact email address on their site comes back as "address unknown." The location and equipment were both fine, and an additional five bucks isn't really the issue, but a rip off is still a rip off at any amount.
