Dr Ralph is a good physician. Her office staff however are awful! They take forever to return messages, if they even do, and are hardly ever available during office hours. I needed to have a referral sent electronically to my insurance and it took a month's worth of calls from me AND the insurance company. Totally not worth it if you need prompt attention from the staff.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Ralph. She's a genuinely nice person who takes your concerns seriously - even answers what I would normally feel to be silly questions without a second thought and 0 judgement. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

Dr. Ralph is a good women's health specialist ... if you can get ahold of her. Perhaps she could spend more time paying attention to her patients' needs though. The real problem is her incompetent secretary. She gets nothing done, messes up appointments, doesn't relay patient messages to the doctor, and is not patient with her clients. I am switching doctor offices, because she's the one I have to deal with the most...not Dr. Ralph...and it is so not worth dealing with.

I called to have my medication changed from a 30 day supply to a 90 day supply because my insurance requested me to do so. The receptionist was extremely rude making it sound like it was going to be quite the chore. I asked her what her name was, she told me Christine and hung up on me. I don't know if I will be going back to that office because the staff is so rude.

Unlike other doctors , she does not inform me when lab work is finished and does not go over the results of the blood work unless I first initiate it by getting an appointment with her to go over the lab results. She could , at the least , call and tell me the results , instead of waiting for me to setup an appointment with her. It's like she is trying to do the minimum amount of work as needed.

Dr. Ralph is my new physician and I am very happy to have found her. Her specialty is internal medicine (general physician) and osteopathic needs. First and foremost- she seems to be exceptionally knowledgeable about a wide range of conditions, treatments, medicines, etc. I have only seen her three times, but every time I leave impressed with her knowledge base. Other things that make me love her: She is a great listener & easy to talk to. She is completely supportive of my choice to see a Naturopathic doctor as well as her, and even, so far, supports and is knowledgeable about what my Naturopath recommends and prescribes. She explains things clearly and is very open to further discussion if I have questions. She is not opposed to antibiotics if she sees a real need for them. Getting an appointment was easy, even with limited notice. When she received my test results back, she had me in the office the next day to discuss even though is was not an emergency. She is incredibly fast with the pap smear, didn't feel a thing. She has such a refreshing attitude- she smiles and jokes and is never 'preachy'. Her website is even refreshing, there is a gazpacho recipe on it at the moment!UPDATE:Things have changed. Now Dr. Ralph rushes appointments. It does not feel like she is really listening. She was even texting during one appointment, yikes. :( Frequently no one answers the phone DURING office hours, and there is not even voicemail. She's still great at doing paps, but I think she has sort of sold out of the 'care' aspect of the job; often these students come in and do the initial exam/intake, then Dr. Ralph comes in for just a flash. Easy money for her, feels shallow and unconcerned for me.I've downgraded from a 5 start to a 2 star review here.

Dr Ralph is a very good physician with a wide, wholistic, and up to date knowledge base. She takes her time and seems to genuinely care about you as a person, not just as a patient. She is easy to get an appointment with and she follows up with you to discuss the results of any tests or labs she ordered (even when they are normal). Dr. Ralph gets 5 stars as a physician. The reason I only gave her 1 star is due to her office staff. Her secretary can't seem to get appointments scheduled correctly. More than once, my daughter or I have shown up at what we were told was our appointment time or even date only to be very rudely told that we missed our appointment. Unfortunately, the policy is that if you miss 2 appointments without 24 hours notice, you are dropped which is what happened to us. I find this policy harsh as sometimes 24 hours aren't available to give notice, especially if the appointment date or time you were told is different from what they have scheduled. The secretary can be argumentative and if she is on the phone, you will be ignored until she is finished. Unfortunately, the incompetance of the office staff is Dr. Ralph's downfall.

If you want to know what a poorly run office feels like, this doctor's office is your place. I've been trying to get a well-visit since October. I had not seen Dr. Ralph for an extended time, primarily because of the pandemic. The office person told me that I was no longer her patient. When the clerk offered Christine Munoz, I scheduled. Then I went to see her. I waited for 90 minutes only to be told, "Sorry, I'm running late." Then I found out my appointment was not the well visit but rather the appointment "to establish care." So today I was ten minutes late because of holiday and construction traffic and was told, Sorry, you have to reschedule." I will NEVER return to this office again nor will my husband. Good luck with being treated with respect if you hope to get good patient care.

Refused my prescription refill request on a Friday when the office was officially closed and nobody was answering the phone. The refusal said I had to schedule an appointment and come in and get some lab work done. The staff was taking a long weekend and the office wouldn't open up again until Tuesday, so I was going to be out of my sleeping meds for at least 4 days. There's no after-hours number and the patronizing little lecture on the answering machine is very clear that no-one will fill your prescription after hours. Not a big fan of this kind of bullying, all they had to do was call me with some notice and ask me to set up an appointment. That's what my dentist does.If you don't mind the limited office hours, lack of emergency phone access, and the extortion by last-minute prescription refusal, Dr R. is a good listener, tries to relate to patients by relating my issues to her experiences, and is amenable to trying herbal alternatives. The other reviews are right about the receptionist.
