Art's Pit Stop has been around for a long time. I can't say for sure how long, but ever since I was a kid they have been in business.Local business and they have a reputation for doing good work.I definitely recommend this business!!

These guys are really nice and helpful. They weren't able to install my Prius battery because of a warranty issue on my behalf, but were more than happy to run the diagnostic for free and tell me where to go from there. After that, I knew I'd be back in the future. I only had to wait a couple days for an appointment and today they fixed my water pump for an amazing price. Definitely recommend this place for anyone, especially people who don't know much about cars and may be on a tight budget.

When I first moved to Tucson I was terrified of taking my car to a mechanic shop because you know how it can be for women....you go in for a oil change and they have a list of problems that are huge seal and they can replace it right then and there. I asked my grandfather where he recommended and he sent me this place. It is the place I consistently go to and recommend to everyone. They have never once over charged me or had crazy recommendations that are mind blowing. I was in Phoenix for work and had no choice but to get my brakes changed else where and that place in Phoenix was telling me my control arms needed to be replaced. I did not do it and took it here and told them what I was told and they were honest with me and said it was definitely not something I needed to do immediately if at all for a few years. I really appreciate their honesty and I go out of my to drive to them all the way from Marana.

What in the hills have eyes did I just walk in to? I made an appointment for an oil change and diagnostic for 9 am. When I arrive, it's just a parking lot that leaves you questioning where the actual mechanics office is. Once you find it, it's filthy, outdated and run by guys that have no idea what's going on. This is literally a junk yard with old abandoned/torn apart junk and cars all over the property. I dropped my car off and I was told it would take about an hour. So I called after two hours, and was told a few minutes longer. I called back after three hours, was told a little longer. Called again after four hours and was told a little longer again. At this point I didn't want anything from them and told them to cancel everything. And now I'm actually glad they never worked on my car, because based on what I saw and experienced there, I would definitely question the diagnostic or if they actually even changed any oil. I will never call them for anything again.

I am from out of town, here to visit my family. My Mom's car had a problem. Art's Pit Stop gave me an appointment when the other shops had a 2 week waiting list. This is my first time to this shop and I was impressed. Justin and the crew were able to diagnose my car's problem and put me on the right track. Awesome service! Thank you very much.

So grateful for businesses like this one. We were visiting our son and engine light came on. I called and although he was busy he said to bring car in and he would hook up to diagnose problem. We took it and it was a minor problem and didn't even charge us for diagnostic. Good to know some businesses are concerned about customer service as well as making a profit. Thank you so much!!

I brought in my 2001 BMW 330i because I was hearing rattles and clunks from the undercarriage/suspension that I hadn't heard before. Justin took it for a spin and soon afterward discovered that an aftermarket part was loose from a stripped thread. He continued to check underneath and told me the rear shock mounts were worn and should be replaced eventually. We got into a discussion about other aftermarket accessories of which he was familiar with, and BMWs as well. He knows cars! I spoke with him later about shocks for my BMW, and he was extremely helpful, suggesting alternate sources and brands. I will be bringing in both of my vehicles to Art's as long as I'm in Tucson.
