Arizona Rose Theatre

2nd time in this space. We saw "Little Woman, the Musical". Unique, intimate space, a black box in The Tucson Mall. As brick and mortar shopping areas decline, this is an excellent use of the space. The theatre has good acoustics and good sight lines. The Rose does eclectic stuff as well as locally written stuff and draws cast and crew from the very talented local arts population of the greater Tucson metropolitan area. A very pleasant way to experience live performance and support the arts.

I have had a lot of fun at this place, every time I have visited! It is a kind of loosey-goosey slapstick production so be prepared not to expect an actual play or well organized production by any means.. This is the charm! It's okay to they a laugh at the actors and actresses- they encourage it!!

Gem of a performance arts venue in a mallGreat small performance arts theatre in the Tucson Mall. Reminds me of some of the smaller venues in NYC, where they only seat 75 people and you are very close to the performers. Excellent sound and lighting systems We have seen a number of musical performances there and they have not disappointed. The casts have all been professional and very talented. They have a whole season of performances, Play's, Musicals and illusion Arts. They offer classes, in drama, voice and dance as well as youth productions.
