Arizona Primary Eye Care

I visited the office located on Tanque Verde and I can't say enough great things about my experience. The moment I arrived everyone was extremely professional & kind. I ordered beautiful Swarovski Aviator frames I receive many compliments. One lense popped out .. I had a knee injury and I couldn't really walk inside. Alex Williams couldn't have been more genuinely kind & accommodating. He came out to my car within 3 minutes brought them inside ... all was fixed. I can't say enough great things about my entire experience with Arizona Primary Eye Care.... Alex is to be commended.... If I could give 100 Stars I would. Great selection of frames too. Thank you again Alex ... you are one of a kind. So if your debating where to go ..... debate no longer. This was a WIN/WIN.

I was able to get a same day visit to check an eye problem. Great staff and Dr. Romero took time to go over results with me and answer all my questions. I'll be returning here!

I was referred to Arizona Primary Eye Care through a friend. I was a bit hesitant to go to the location that was INSIDE the Student Union, however my experience was extremely pleasant. I needed to get an eye exam ASAP and they were able to get me in the next morning after I called. Their traffic seems to be primarily students who are walking in. SO, if you need an exam in a hurry, this is the place to go! Downside is parking, I did have to pay $4 for my parking while I was in my exam. The second street garage was the closest to their office. Honestly, the $4 was worth it to me since I wanted an exam ASAP. I also live very close to U of A. They have really cute, high end frames in stock, and said they get new ones in every few weeks. Kate Spade, Ray Ban etctera. The staff was extremely friendly and Dr. Greiten was very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable explaining all of my issues to Dr. Greiten and she offered great solutions and advice for my problems. I really appreciated how the front staff helped me break down the cost of my lenses and explained what my insurance would cover. I did not feel rushed or like I was annoying them- which I've experienced a few other places. I wasn't able to afford to buy my glasses on the day of exam and they were still extremely friendly. I will likely return to this location when my next exam is due.

This location is on campus but don't let that deter you. Both my UA enrolled daughter and my high school student daughter go here for eye services. They're quick, and have a nice selection of glass frames for the younger generation. The optometrist didn't rush us and did a great job connecting to both my daughters. This is an easy location to access if you're willing to go on campus. Highly recommend!

Three members of my immediate family have glaucoma, so I was freaked out when I had sensitivity to light, which my brother described after having been diagnosed. The staff here are very friendly and helpful, especially Dr. Schmitt. I am so grateful for her help and sweetAddendum: Dr. Schmiitt was proactive in communicating with my ophthalmologist. I was seen for an emergency evaluation and subsequently given emergency treatment. I was told my situation was critical and I had laser surgery on my eyes. I was the last patient treated at that surgical center before it closed due to covid. If not for Dr. Schmitt's help I would not have been treated in time and likely would have incurred permanent damage to my vision. Thank you so much Dr. Schmitt! I am eternally grateful!

Thanks to everyone at the Student Union office of APEC for a landmark optical experience. I walked in for an overdue eye exam and left after ordering two new pairs of glasses, The office was so clean and pleasantly staffed, the exam was so thorough and enjoyable, that I wondered about replacing the current specimen of ho-hum specs I'd worn throughout my life. Without the slightest pressure, I was shown two types of frames, each of them designed to compliment my face, one for a man on a budget, the other a designer frame. We went over the options I had for lenses: progressive and transition lenses, etc. Long story made short: I ended up ordering two new pairs of glasses. For the first time in my life, I saw glasses not as a life sentence, but as an adventure in personal style.Many thanks to the awesome staff who launched me on this adventure: Dr. Kelly Keith, Jackie and Nolan (optical experts), Bella (tech wizard, and Ariana (Tucson's warmest receptionist.

I am a first time contact lens wearer, and I had a terrible experience at Arizona Primary Eye Care. Fitting for multifocal focal contacts was difficult and did not yield satisfactory results. I ended up having to buy 4 different Rxs, which was incredibly expensive. Bought the contacts from Arizona Primary. Compared to online retailers (which I found out later) Arizona Primary was exorbitantly more expensive - to the tune of 200$ more expensive!!! What's worse? They never even provided an itemized receipt or order confirmation number so I had no way to cancel or modify the order. And of course, no one ever mentioned that all sales final - even unopened, unshipped boxes of lenses are final sale. Do yourself a favor, go somewhere reputable. At least national chains have national standards that they are held accountable to.

I love going to this office! Staff is so friendly & good at what they do! Cindy is always extremely helpful & recommends the best stuff! She saw that I had a pizza phone case & showed me this pizza cloth to clean my glasses and I had to get it! Highly recommend this practice!!

So excited there was finally a place on campus to get my eyes checked! Went in and got a contact lense exam, left with contacts same day, and trendy pair of gucci sunglasses. Gave an excellent student discount! Staff was super helpful and friendly.

Super friendly office! They are great at explaining what your insurance will cover and the best way to get the most bang for your buck. I was able to get glasses with my insurance then pay out of pocket for contacts but they gave me a $75 rebate! They are all incredibly friendly and the best part - they DONT use the eye puff machine that everyone hates!
