Dr. P is the only one who has helped me. all other Drs. just tell me to go away (because they don't believe me or are lazy?). All of the staff, with the exception of Kathy, are great. I find Kathy to be rude and almost mean at times. When Dr tells me to make appt 3 months out she argues with me and gets extremely unpleasant. She only stops when I tell her to talk to Dr. P.I really hate dealing with her but you have no choice when making an appointment. She even told me one time that she was the manager - incorrect. I believe she is very insecure and loves having "power" over the patients. Additionally, other patients have also expressed the same feeling for Kathy. Someone she speak with her.Again, Dr P and all of the rest of the staff and great.

Impressed overall by the service here. The office manager in particular has gone above and beyond ensuring that I have a good experience. My provider is also excellent.

this is ABSOLUTELY the best place in every regard for care! Front desk is polite & sensitive. I am a chronic care patient that has been in the care of a variety of neurologists, for more than 20 years. In that time, insurance companies would deny my prescriptions if it wasn't for self advocacy and a good physician. Arguing every month for care wears you down. Stress and anxiety began to dominate my life. Enter the care I got at AZPC; specifically Shannon Morgenstern FNP-C. Not only is she able to listen to my concerns, she is equal to the rally for my defense when the insurance company comes calling. Shannon is what nursing has always been designed to be; someone who makes you feel better when you 'aren't'. And someone in whom you can be confident with your care. I would be remiss not to mention the sincere hardworking help I have gotten from Heather. More than once she has been there for me with insurance paperwork help. I give 5 stars and !

After I fired them they put it in my record that I had problem with opiates. This was not true and when I went to another provider a year later they would not help me based on information Az pain care center had provided. They put a comment in that I had abused opiates so the next provider would not help me.

Update. I was called in for pill count shortly after last visit. On my birthday. Arrived around 7:30am where I was told that phone message left for me on Sat afternoon said apps changed to 12:30. It's hour round trip from my home so waited in parking lot. This is beginning of pandemic and two of Dr P staff counted my pills with their bare hands. The 2 weeks prior for regular appt had oral drug test also no gloves used, never saw how was treated after she walked out of room waving it around. Back to this visit Dr P and some blonde woman (was never introduced to her) gave me results of test that showed medication that was not taken including an illicit drug I have never taken. I was fired as patient because of this?? Still haunts me because I'm deathly allergic to codeine which was also on test? Besides giant Hippa violation having someone else in room while doing this, I was not permitted to retest or given proper med supply per AZ medical board and CDC. I was left to go thru withdrawals on own. After going to several pain clinics since my best primary retired they r all out for $$ only. I had one clinic that charged my insurance $7900 ea month just for drug test. New CDC guidelines issued 11/3/2022 will hopefully change this practice so primaries can once again prescribe without fear of getting in trouble. Hope I get to live long enough to see it happen. Make sure u know chain of custody for any bodily fluids to be tested and if staff not wearing gloves be prepared for contamination of ur sample.
