I was EXTREMELY pleased and impressed with the way I was treated by Arizona Urology Specialists. First of all, huge thanks to Fernanda Lopez (assistant to Dr. Marchettti) for returning a phone call I'd made from out of town regarding a follow up issue from my emergency room treatment in California. She really spent time talking me through the details and put my mind at ease. And once I was at the in-person visit at the Oro Valley office of AZ Urology Specialists, she continued to treat me incredibly well, explaining procedures, handling me with care and compassion, and making sure I felt comfortable with the treatment plan.Dr. Marchetti was also outstanding! She explained the potential causes and related symptoms of my condition, and I finally felt like I was getting somewhere in terms of a potential diagnosis of root cause and a treatment plan. Just the mere fact that she provided treatment options, let alone more thorough testing, was a huge plus for me. I couldn't be any happier with how well she treated me.The same goes for the support staff. I had to return to the office the same day after a procedure that may have needed immediate attention after I went home and needed to return. And they did INDEED get me in quickly, as I was in a lot of pain, and they were able to quickly address it, treat me, relieved the pain, and I was grateful.Couldn't be any happier with Arizona Urology Specialists.

patient of aiu at la cholla office. ended up in o.v. hospital. docs from o.v. aiu visited daily. different doc each day. their visits lasted less than 5 minutes. they were there to sign in and collect the $$$$$. blah docs with no interest in discussing urological situation. the communication time frame between patient and office staff is unacceptable. usually two to three days before one hears from the doc (usually the assistant) then one must schedule an appt. before treatment. why to collect more $$$. i'll definitely be moving on from this aiu group.

I have had incontinence problems for several years and was going to another Doctor Who has scheduled surgery, but after I waited several months for the surgery, the doctor had personal problems so I went to Arizona urology because this has been going on for two years. Arizona urology went ahead and saw me once and prescribed a medicine but then after I waited two more months, they told me they do not do this incontinence surgery rather they only do prostate surgery. What a waste of time, but I should've known when I got to their office and discovered that they had set it up so their staff does virtually nothing but hand you a small computer to do their work. Does anyone know a urologist that actually does their work?

I arrived on time for my 10:45 appointment, sat in the waiting room for an hour then 45 minutes in the exam room. Never did see the doctor.Dr Meyers is a good doctor but the need serious work on their organization. I'll go one more time only because I've got tests etc invested but will seek out another urologist.

Called for an urgent appointment and they booked me for next week. They asked me to get the CT scans from the ER and gave me their fax #. I called ER and they said they need Arizona Urology to make the request and gave me the ER fax number. Call Arizona Urology to let them know they need to fax the request and Arizona Urology said... No need. We can access the information online. So... Just wasting my time making requests they could have done themselves. They require me to fill out pages and pages of information on myself. The next day they call to tell me the doctor I was scheduled with decided he no longer wants to see new patients and offer me an appointment in 3 weeks in a different city. I had already explained that it was an urgent matter but even after saying so again they didn't suggest I try somewhere else but continued to push the appointment 3 weeks out. I canceled the appointment and asked that they remove all of my information from their system and they tell me I need to contact the OV office directly, which I've never done. I've only communicated through their advertised number which must be some type of central call center. Once again the group says basically admits they were asking me to do something they could do themselves and said they'd take care of it. Horrible experience. Happy to drive another 30 minutes to a place that actually attempts to take care of patients.
