Another beautiful shot of the pool.
Very poor experience with lawn service being done as we were having brunch.
Rice and beans
Lots of desert landscaping
Chips and salda
Hotel room king bed
Audubon lounge patio
The manicured grounds and some of the casitas
Chicken

The palatial pool with plush loungers.
Just beautiful

What's visiting family in the area and they recommended the Arizona Inn for brunch on a Sunday. The hotel itself is a historical landmark from what I gather, but the welcoming staff felt very short of anything pleasurable. I'll keep it short we asked the manager if they can have the gardener please stop cutting the grass while we were eating our brunch as a little bit of shrubbery were being pitched our way as we were sitting. Needless to say it was not done so I decided to write a review on how poor management was that afternoon given we were there for a joyous birthday party with a group of 8 people.

What an elegant dinner in an old fashioned dining room. Fabulous flavors; innovative dishes. Best salmon with crispy skin sitting on forbidden rice with squash beurre blanc. Outstanding service. Knowledgeable waiter. Nice piano bar in next room so we could listen to the Great American Songbook. It was my birthday so they brought me a creme brûlée with fresh berries and chocolate things. A wonderful special occasion place.

I attended a function at Arizona Inn recently. Walking in, the Tucson icon looked the same. The room in which the function was held was big, clean, well lighted and set up for the function.A luncheon was being served to around 50-60 people. As soon as the food was in the hot serving pans, I took pictures. It all looked delicious and there was a large variety of Mexican dishes. The salad, fruit and chips/salsa were good. The rice and beans were typical (not good, not bad). The calabacitis casserole was delicious; everyone at our table went back for more. The chili colorado had some issues; three of us at my table had chunks of fat and/or gristle in our servings. I did not have any of the chicken but was told it was very good. There were a lot of condiments at the end of the table with lots of good stuff - guacamole, sour cream, pico de gallo, radishes, cheese, limes, etc.The servers were excellent, keeping the tea and water glasses filled at all times. This would have been 5 stars except for those chunks of fat and gristle in the chili colorado. I didn't get a picture of the flan dessert before it was gone; it was very good.l'll go back.

We love going to the Audubon bar and sitting on the patio. The food is consistently great here. Service is also friendly and competent.

This really is a hidden gem nestled in a lovely neighborhood in a city but you'd never know it with the lush grounds and serene atmosphere. Beautiful desert and floral landscape are enclosed by pink buildings of various sizes. Not all the hotel room are alike but it's part of the historic hotel experience . Ive stayed here before but it has become a favorite of my aunt when she comes to town since it's close to lots of things. I love using the pool and enjoying the delicious food on the patio. Always impeccable service on the patio and don't miss the free ice cream bar after dinner in the summer!

The Arizona Inn is such a special place to stay in Tucson, the grounds are magnificent and it is a beautiful Historical Inn nestled in a quiet neighborhood in Midtown. However, this review is about the Audubon Bar & Restaurant because leaves so much to be desired. For the high prices and what you would expect to be an elevated experience, they have some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered.Every time I've been here for food or drinks, there are multiple team members working and service is exceptionally slow even when the dining room and patio are more than half empty. The bartenders make you feel like ordering a drink or taking a seat on their patio is an inconvenience. Expect to wait and know asking for help will be met with indifference. They will openly refuse to help others on their team, telling customers who inquire about extended waits to "wait for their server because they aren't working in that section". At $10+ a drink and $20+ a plate at lunchtime it's just not worth it.The food is good, but expensive and ultimately the dealbreaker is truly the customer service. This should be one of the busiest spots in town, if they implemented a high quality Happy Hour, had better service, and hosted events to draw in locals this could be one of the trendiest and most popular spots in town. I want to see this place succeed, so I hope they make some changes.

Some friends and I met at the restaurant here for a Christmas luncheon. The main restaurant didn't appear open, but it was a lovely day and we sat out on the patio. Several ladies ordered a salad and a couple of us got sandwiches. All the food was very good, the ambiance lovely, our server helpful. The only drawback was the cost, seeming pretty high for what we got. It'd be nice if they had a lunch menu instead of just one menu for lunch and dinner. For a special occasion, it was nice.

This review is only about the Audubon bar. The hotel is wonderful. The service was very lacking. Waiter seemed really out of it, brought me and my guest the wrong drinks. Finally after 15 min we received our drinks. When we mentioned this there was no apology just " well you did finally get the write drink didn't you". I will go back to give them another chance, but very disappointing as I do come here often.

This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The hotel was built in 1930 but has been maintained beautifully. The rooms are large , the beds are comfortable, everything is spotlessly clean and you have a private patio with each room. They service your room every day. There was bottled water in the rooms that is refreshed daily. The grounds are lovely. There is a large pool, tennis courts, croquet, ping pong table, full gym, badminton. It's quiet and serene. The main dining room is only open Wednesday through Saturday and it is beautiful. The rest of the week meals are served in the lounge and the patio both are lovely. The food was excellent . This would be a wonderful spot for locals to come for a romantic dinner or a stay cation in the summer.

Beautiful setting, excellent service, food not as good as l remembered from past visits. We were a party of 5. Greeted and seated promptly and graciously. Servers were attentive but knowledge of the menu was short. They were very busy. The food, though it looked pretty good, tasted mundane. I only ate a third of mine , no one finished and no one in our party asked for a box. Hopefully it was just an off day, this restaurant is usually much better.
