Great service and help from the BBQ King, Val? nice guy! Needed a part to hook up our gas fireplace and turns out, needed 4 parts from him an elbow, 2 extensions and a reducer and he sold them all to us for $10 which would of been the price for one part from Home Depot! He also recommended an Ace Hardware nearby that carried more parts than HD for the last part that we needed :)Thank you BBQKING!!

Probably the worst customer 'service' and company behavior in Tucson!Paid in full Nov.2020 for fireplace screen. Jan.2021 found out that the order was never placed with the fabricator. Owner Mr. Romero said he doesn't do the ordering just talk to the front desk gal.If Mr. Romero is the owner,he should take responsibility for customer issues with his company. I was very surprised by his unprofessional attitude. After all its his money,time & reputation.Lots of excuses and lies about fireplace screen being made and or shipped. Went to Arizona Fireplace in Phoenix (the distribution center) where it was to be sent, they never received my order or delivery.I'm now working directly with Arizona Fireplace. Very professional and helpful with our situation. Safe yourself time, money and a headache.....shop elsewhere!

WARNING! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR MASONRY WORK! Their mason incorrectly modified my fireplace opening so that I cannot use the new tiles I had selected to reface the front in spite of explicit instructions. Worse, the company ignored my requests to address the situation. Now, I am stuck having to find a larger and more expensive tile. Obviously, they don't back their work or work with the customer to make it right, leaving the customer hanging. And they charged a ridiculous $1,000 for a few hours of bad work.

I ordered a grill in March and was told it would take 2-3 weeks. About 5 weeks later I called for an update and was told 1-2 more weeks. After waiting 2 more weeks, I called and was told item was on back order and it likely would be 4-6 more weeks. I don't fault them for the delays and what they cannot control. But I do fault them for handling it poorly. I tried reaching out multiple times to Megan for a refund after being told about the 4-6 additional week wait. She tried first to recommend a different grill that I could not find any reviews on. When I declined she went silent despite multiple emails and 2 calls. I was very disappointed. I understand and delays happen but there is no excuse for the silence.

I'm very disappointed as I thought this was a top notch company after reading the reviews. I scheduled a home visit back in December as I had some custom fireplace redesign work I wanted to do. When the quote never came, I called and emailed multiple times and then 3 weeks later was told a framer would need to come take a look in addition to the mason. Another visit was scheduled and 10 minutes before they were due to come, I got a call telling me there was a mixup and no one would be coming. They rescheduled for this morning and again no one showed up or called. When I finally got a call back, I was told they were sorry but they didn't think they could help me. They were totally unprofessional and cost me 2 months of time that could've been spent with another company getting the job done. I'd think twice about working with this company.

Follow-up to my review I wrote on 1-31-21. After visiting Arizona Fireplaces up in Phoenix the other day it turns out that our fireplace glass door order was never received by the manufacturer. Since I was informed that Arizona Fireplaces are the distributors here in Arizona the order would go through their system and after trying to look it up there was no order placed. The sales rep even got on the phone to the manufacturer and it was confirmed. So I'll end this review to encourage shoppers to go elsewhere as I said before. Who wants to deal with a company who lies and deceives their customers?

I wish I could select a zero rating...Called this business 3 times before I could get someone to schedule a repair appointment to fix my non functioning gas fireplace. The first two times their scheduler was supposed to return my call but did not. I should have taken this as a sign and called another business. Waited 10 days for the repair person to show up. Ok, maybe that's a good sign, they are busy. Nope. The repair person showed up, cleaned my fireplace, restacked the logs and asked it there was anything wrong with the fireplace. Yes, I had explained that to the person who booked the appt. apparently that info did not get passed on. The repair person said my problem was that my pilot light was out. Ok, what causes it to go out and then come on again intermittently? Oh probably just wind. Nope. That will be $125. The fireplace worked for 2 days before the intermittent shut downs started again. Looked outside, no wind. I called the business back and got an appt about 3 days out. The scheduler called me the morning of the appt to say that the repair person was not able to come to work that day, could they come the next day. Sure. He showed up, no answers, some guesses, I'm going to order a part and talk to my boss about other possible ideas. That was 2 weeks ago. No call, no message, no parts, no working fireplace. I had also asked for a quote for met doors for our built in BBQ. No call back on that either.$125 for clean glass on a non functioning fireplace, plus frustration. Quite the deal.After leaving for the summer, I got an email with a quote from Val, the owner of this business. When I got back for the season I emailed Val and told him I would like him to order the part and proceed with the fireplace fix. The part was backordered, but I had to call to find that out. I was told they would call me when they had more info. Didn't happen. I waited a couple of weeks and called back. The part was scheduled to arrive in a few days. Made an appt for the repair. Val, the business owner, came in person. He found that the problem had been misdiagnosed by his former employee and the part was not needed, it was actually a wall switch that was malfunctioning. He put the back ordered part in anyway at no charge, found the switch in stock at another business in town, went across town and picked up the part, and came back and installed it. He charged me what the other business charged him for the part, and no service call fee. Told me he wanted to make sure this fix was done today, apologized for the delay. Fireplace works like a charm. Five star service from Val, so I'm changing my 1 star rating to a 3, because it started so badly

We recently decided to replace our old gas fireplace with a new, more efficient and up-to-date one. We visited Arizona Hearth & Grill and were warmly greeted and got a really good "education" on gas fireplaces from Sarah and other staff there. We ordered a new fireplace based on their guidance. A schedule for installation was established and Val, the owner, showed up exactly on time and removed the old fireplace. The next working day, workers showed up to build the framing for the new fireplace. Val and Gary came back the next day and installed the new fireplace followed by Carlos the next day to install the tile around the new fireplace. Everyone involved was friendly, professional, on time and did a great job. Val is especially knowledgeable and has created a super staff. We very much enjoy our new fireplace and highly recommend this company.
