Arizona Feeds Country Stores

They don't honor the same "regular" deals that the North Store offers. I sent my mother in to purchase some bags of Backyard Delight for me, which are 6.66 each if you buy three or more at the North store. This is a discount from the 7.99 that they are regularly if you only purchase one. But when my mother went into the store, they charged her 7.99 each (so I ended up with 5 bags instead of the 6 that I had originally sent her for). I had this issue before when I stopped by the South store. The first time, the South store told me because they had to transport things from the North store to the South, sometimes things were a little more at the South store (what?). I mentioned my issue to the North store a few weeks later and they told me the discount deal for this particular bag of seed was the same at both stores. Unfortunately, seems like the South store doesn't know this because this is the second time we haven't received the same deal. Looks like I'll just have to shop at the North store from now on -- although it would be nice if the deals are the same at both places.

Long time customer here. Will not be returning. One of the cashiers behind the counter was talking with a young man who also works there, and were making disparaging comments about a fellow student in anthropology class who they clocked as male, but wore a dress. The hateful and bigoted comments I had to listen to while I was shopping for dog food disappointed me greatly, and I mentioned to the young lady that she might just want to let people be who they were. She and the gentleman who were making laughs at somebody else's expense went into another part of the store. I told the cashier who was ringing me up that she ( the redhead with the bigotry) ought to keep her talk about her class to herself, because that was pretty goddamn offensive. There's a lot of places to buy dog food, and I will be investigating them shortly. I vote with my dollars, too.

The place was hard for me to find. The address is misleading because it's not on south 6th ave in my opinion, but rather, the entrance is on a side street. But the cashiers were very friendly and very helpful. And when l needed a refund, l got one, NO QUESTIONS ASKED.

I moved to Tucson a year ago but had not gone to Arizona Feeds yet since it was almost an hour away. Last weekend I needed a specific hay cube for my horses and the local stores were out of it so I called the South store because I did not want to drive all the way over there if they didn't have it. The young girl on the phone assured me they had it and gave me the price so we headed over. My husband and I walked in the door and were completely ignored by the two people behind the counter. They were distracted by chatting and not paying attention to the customers. We went ahead and checked out the store and then I went back to the counter to get my feed. I asked if they had another feed since I was there and once I got them to pay attention enough to understand me, they said they didn't carry it. Fine, that's not what I went there for anyway. I proceeded to order the feed that I had driven across town for and she tells me they don't have it in cubes, just pellets. I told her i had called that morning and was told (most likely by her) that they had them. She just gave me a blank look and said I must have called the wrong store. I checked my phone just in case and no, it was that store I had called. She had obviously been chatting with her coworker earlier and not paying attention when she was on the phone with me. I had specifically asked for cubes, not pellets. I may stop in the North store someday if I'm in the area but I will never go to, or recommend the South store again.

Fantastic quality products and a super friendly knowledgeable staff! This will be our new go to for feed and supplies. We picked up some chicken feed, organic dog food and some fun items too! They have everything you need for your urban farm or family ranch. Check it out! Live well

This place has everything you will need if you have animals. I have gotten chicken feed and chicks one year from here and they have all the supplies you need.

awesome selection stock and staff moderately priced great chick bird and bunny/rodents also like the tack and ropes and goat equipment.

Shopped here for the first time this week and I was very pleased. They have an excellent selection, prices are good, and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Specifically in regards to prices, the feed I bought here was $2 less per bag than I paid for the exact same item at another feed store two weeks ago. Straw and hay is also more economically priced than most other feed shops I've been to in Tucson and the quality is excellent. I look forward to making my future livestock supply and feed purchases at this location. Would highly recommend it to others.
