Yes, this magnificent Saguaro begged me to take a selfie with it- so I grudgingly complied! What a handsome pair!! Hahahahahahaha !
Amazing!
Not exactly sure why rare Massonias turn me on, but I can't fight the feeling!!! Taste the rainbow!!!!

Incredible Nursery! Bob, Eddie, and company doing an amazing job! Great people and amazing plants! I was blown away! The best greenhouse nursery I have ever been to!! I order from Aridlands online all the time also! Highly recommend! Go watch the Aridland's Greenhouse Cactus Quest episode on YouTube. WOW! Heaven in Tucson! They have cities permits so can ship over seas if needed.

I started collecting Sansevierias and this greenhouse offers great varieties. I consider this a Sansevieria paradise! Staffs are welcoming and friendly. They nicely entertained all of my questions.Btw, this greenhouse has other succulents, too.

We drove done from Phoenix so my friend could look at their snake plants. It was well worth the drive. They have a huge selection and great prices. The people that worked there were all friendly and helpful. I don't usually go to nurseries, but my friend who goes to them all the time really loved this place.

I admit it; I'm an addict. I can't pass up a cactus without buying one and my visit to AridLands was mind-boggling. Row after row of multiple varieties of cactus and succulent plants, all neatly labeled and actually alphabetically arranged. I didn't realize this order at first which is why I ended up with so many more than on my original list. I found the prices were quite reasonable and I came home with nine plants and change from my $100. The owner, Bob, is so knowledgeable and helpful, I ended up with a lot of good info on caring for my plants. Cactus shopping was not my reason for going to Tucson but a trip to Arid Lands is worth coming back.

Arid Lands came highly recommended to me by a number of my fellow succulent and xeric gardening enthusiasts, and I was not disappointed when I finally got a chance to do business with them. In my case, while I did not make the trip to Tucson, I did purchase a fair number of Sansevieria through their website. Well organized and properly identified, I found their selection to be top notch and prices were extremely competitive for the size of plants they offered. Additionally, they have some genuinely unique stuff that you just can't find easily (or in some cases, at all) elsewhere. As an example, I had been wanting to get a hold of a nice Sansevieria trifasciata cv. 'Futura', the progenitor of its much more abundant and easily obtained sport, 'Futura Superba'. I was striking out everywhere, but Arid Lands had them. I was also able to snag a very nice S. parva cv 'Gilt Edge', which is a beautiful variegated selection. Everything was shipped in short order, and received on schedule. Each plant was impeccably wrapped in newspaper and taped up with an ID tag, and all of them arrived in flawless condition due to exceptional and obviously very careful packing. Each plant was bigger than I had expected, and was a fantastic value for the price paid. That kind of a pleasant surprise has become a rarity anymore with mail order nurseries, so I definitely appreciated it. I could not be happier that I took a chance on this place, and my only regret is that it will be a while before I have the chance to drive down to their retail location and shop in person. That said, I have zero hesitation about ordering from them again and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Arid Lands is special. A Tucson institution of a kind one doesn't find in many places. The diversity of plants, particularly succulents, is extraordinary. The plants are in good shape and transplant well. The proprietors will go the extra distance in identifying material and giving information. Prices on my most recent trip were a bit steep, but I feel that I'm seeing prices on plants escalate everywhere in Tucson. Particularly for cactus and succulents. Drive out there and take a look, you'll be glad you did. Or, if the drive is too far out, you will see them at various plant shows around town. TBG, for example.

I had always heard great things about their mail order operations. I decided to give it a try and could not be happier the plants arrived in great shape and were ones I'd likely pick out myself at a greenhouse. I like that they ship bare root as I replant anyway it just saves a lot of time. The value is definitely there and the quality is a standout. Well packaged and arrived unharmed and with the appropriate inspection stickers to enter California. I will purchase from them again no problem.

Love this place, it is the real deal nursery. For "plant people" and not so much for those who like " pretty" retail nurseries. It it a production nursery for cacti and succulents with lots of different varieties that can be hard to find. If asked they are helpful, yet they are always busy filling orders and do a lot of wholesale business so be glad you can shop there too. it helps to know what you're looking for when you get there for starters. Don't forget to look up the botanical name and that alone helps them direct you to where to look. Really, lots of good stuff for plant hunters. I got some astrophytums and lithops and haworthia.
