We recently went and stayed a weekend at Aravaipa Farms and had the best visit! We stayed in the Garden Casita with our 2 girls! This place is truly amazing! There's a little something for everyone! During our time here we found plenty to do! On property there are a few hiking trails, animals, a basketball court, a gorgeous pool and tons of sitting areas to enjoy a good book or for stargazing at night! On top of tons of activities you have the option of the farm preparing you a dinner! We had dinner brought to our room for private dinning both nights and the meals were delicious! Overall this getaway was one that had my family and I wanting to stay a few extra nights! We will definitely be back soon!

Great glamping / high end nature experience . We stayed in the orchard casita which was very comfortable and relaxing . The property was beautiful and it was very refreshing to have a digital detox with minimal internet and cellphones. The food was delicious and in generous portions . They don't have a liquor license yet so BYOB. Kalu and Kirsten and the rest of the staff were amazing and did everything possible to ensure a pleasant stay . I attended an artist workshop with notable watercolorist Ted Nuttall and this was a truly memorable experience .

We had a fabulous time even if our plans were derailed by an act of nature. We rented the Treehouse Casita for New Years eve with plans to go hike the canyon on New Years Day. My elder in laws rented the airstream with plans to join us in the evenings. The treehouse Casita was adorable and so cute for the three of us with a pleasant common area to host my in laws for games. Staff also provided my son horse treats to feed the miniature horses and donkey. We purchased the meal plan but my in laws decided to bring their own food. It was raining when we came in so we managed our expectations for our ability to go hiking. Good thing we did, as unfortunately the next day the creek had risen so high that no vehicles could exit. Also, the storms knocked out power for the property for about 7 hours. Staff was worried about my in laws beimg too cold in the airstream and upgraded us all to the 3 BD/2 BA farmhouse so we could gather in one location and not be too cold. It was very thoughtful and the farmhouse was also adorable. They also upgraded my in laws for the meal plan because they didn't know if they were counting on leaving the property to go get food. They ran around to ensure everything we could need to be comfortable was provided within their abilities. Luckily power was back on by the middle of the 2nd day. While I didn't get the hiking trip I wanted, that was ok because I got a pleasant quiet getaway consisting of family game time, reading and walks around the property. I was a little nervous we wouldn't be able to leave on departure day, but the creek was sufficiently low. Manage your expectations with the weather forecast and you will not be disappointed. No cell service in the Casitas, FYI and Wi-Fi was weak so download whatever content you want to watch before your trip. Enjoy disconnecting. Wonderful time and we can't wait to return and retry our hiking adventure.

Need to getaway?Need to unwind? Reconnect? Re-focus?Come to Aravaipa Farms for MORE than one night (you need time to relax). Leave your devices behind. Leave your "hotel" expectations behind. Leave your need for external entertainment behind. Spend Time With YOU (or a loved one)THIS is Glamping. Simplicity & Peacefulness. This is amazing reality with comfy bed, fresh air, beautiful views everywhere you look. FOOD - buy their food package! Just Do It. Every breakfast & dinner were DeeLightFull!! Lunch was sandwich/chips/apples in a knapsack. We didn't "eat" , we Dined. We partook of culinary creativity. We debated the flavor profiles to identify spices or seasoning. ....spoiler alert: Crusty Fresh Bread with whipped butter! Worth It (save a slice for toast with honey in the morning).Take walks. Look around. Sit on patio. Sit anywhere. RE-CHARGE.( stuff we will do next visit - use the beautiful pool, play horseshoes, real hiking, bring marshmallows for my fire pit moment, pet more chickens, drink more wine).STAFF Shout out. Friendly. Hard working . Interesting.

Relaxing and warm ambience, with charming and attentive service- farm to table offerings that are fresh and delicious. A fantastic retreat with couples or girlfriends. Great for hiking and/or birding. Hint- you have to cross a creek to get here- so bring a midsize SUV.

We paid 550$$ per night for a shack. The furniture was filthy dirty and not comfortable. The food we were informed after making our reservation needed to be ordered 2 days in advance. So no real restaurant. The ad says they have wifi. But they do not. There are no radios or television s in the shacks. Final blow was when we tried to leave a day early. They would not refund our money. Awful place if I could give them 0 stars I would.

Had a wonderful two night stay at Aravaipa Farms Orchard & Inn. We stayed in the blue door casita which was more than comfortable. So much to see and do with the added farm animals & the chicken happy hour. Just beautiful grounds to walk around and enjoy. The dinners were excellent & we also enjoyed the coffee in our rooms with cream in the fridge & numerous breakfast items to choose from such as overnight oats, scones, chipotle cornbread & banana bread. We'll definitely be back. A 3rd times a charm.

This past weekend we were gifted a stay at Aravaipa Farms. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Their farm to table food was fantastic (dinner was served in a picnic basket directly to our room!), the pool refreshing, the Mountain Casita large and still cozy, and the peaceful property gave us the calming getaway we needed. Also, the stargazing was phenomenal! Being so remote allowed us to see the Milky Way with the naked eye! We highly recommend a stay! We were a little anxious about how we were going to feel being out with others, sleeping away from home for the first time during the pandemic. Their covid protocols made us feel safe and the spacious grounds, with chairs scattered throughout the farm, allowed us to explore and relax without concern.

Another reviewer termed the Aravaipa Farms/Inn "glamping" and I agree. It is rustic and relaxing and an easy drive from our Tucson home. The staff is friendly, very hard-working, focused on making sure that guests have everything they want/need while running a farm, inn & kitchen. It isn't cheap, but it is worth the price. Very clean rooms with character to spare, nice sheets and comfortable beds; breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack included if you sign up for it. The chef is talented and Cordon Bleu-trained. Luscious vinaigrettes, pears from the farm, meat sauces, fresh veggies, desserts that are mmmmmm! No red meat dishes while we were there for 3 nights :( but fish, chicken and pork dishes were succulent. The chickens Happy Hour on the farm is a fun way to connect once-a-day with other guests before dinner.Definitely liked that we had to make an effort to connect a phone with wifi (office) or cell service (by the entry gate). Kept us off our devices and focused on each other and relaxing activities. We hiked beautiful but somewhat challenging trails, stargazed, read in the shade by the pool. We will return! Thanks to all the staff.
