Apache Flats RV Park

Small camp ground at base of mountains. Full hookups. Nice laundry. Womens Showers were fine and cleaned. I heard men's shower and toilet had some Messy inconsiderate slobs visiting and were not clean enough. Reservation system seemed antiquated with lots of paper. 4 pages of rules seemed excessive and some not enforced. On site host was available but we didn't use. The cg requires reservations by calling but the office has limited hours of operation. There were vacancies while we were there so we were able to keep extending our stay and the staff were amenable. The base overall is quiet. Dog park is tiny. Several poo bag dispenser and trash bins and were stocked.

Absolutely love it here! Off road trails, hiking trails, gorgeous views! Nice space between camp sites, concrete slabs and the water pressure is the best!!!

Great place! Super friendly and outstanding sights. Stayed two nights... Moving cross country and stopped in without a reservation. When coming onto the fort oversize vehicles should use east gate. East gate has limited hours and days open. Main gate works just fine but they put pylons in the lanes so it's a bit tight on the sides. It's an open post so a military ID works to get on. Follow the RV park signs, they are very small but they are there. It's pretty far back on post. Pretty sure all spots were pull throughs and full hook up. Really fantastic place and beautiful views.

So sad to see this go downhill, been camping here 6 years. After Sharon,host of 10 plus years, passed it has changed and not for the better. Rec area condemned, so no more pot lucks etc.. workout area condemned, now our three dogs, very small in breed, no longer welcome..told because base housing only allows two? This is not base housing, these are mostly retired vets passing thru. That is ok, many other parks in the area...

Do not answer their phone or respond to online requests. No reservation system. Really outdated customer service.

Great friendly, park with wide spaces, concrete pads and large concrete patio with nice table. Stayed a month in Dec/Jan.....price seems high for no pool or other amenities but small workout room with new equipment, upgraded Wifi and Cable TV. Park is located at rear of base so allow for time to enter. Keep up with which gates are open when so you don't go to the wrong one. All spots are pull thru with FHU. Nice view with hiking trail on base. We would return.
