Anasazi Pet Boarding & Grooming

When you call for an appointment (3 X) for your pet and you leave your name and phone number & the service to be performed and your phone doesn't ring back for weeks; it is ANASAZI getting back to you!!!!!WTF?????Too bad they are affiliated with a class act veterinary service!!!!!

I went to get an appointment to have my twin cocker spaniels groomed. The young lady at the counter approached me with a scowl on her face... So intense I felt it necessary to ask her if she was ok. She said "yes" but the horrible cringe on her face remained.. I made the appointment but later went with my gut feeling this place was not right for my family members. The fact that they make you sign a document stating they are not responsible for anything that may happen to your pet was another sign this place is not good. Further there is only one counter for vet and groomer which could breed cross contamination for sick to healthy pets. The staff was very impersonal. I chose to go elsewhere.

Amazing place! I have a standard poodle and Hailey Johnson does a wonderful job, with love and patience.

I took my cat, Kati, for a grooming. She was very matted and needed a bath. They had to sedate her because she is skittish. However, the grooming job was horrible. The gentleman shaved the mats, but she came home with several mats that I had to comb out. He could have done a better job of shaving her rather than having clumps of hair gone all over her back. Hair was sticking up all over and I am not sure she had a bath, which was part of the grooming. I understood that if they sedated her, they could probably comb the mats out and I did give permission to sedate her. When I called to complain, the lady I spoke with was rather rude. She asked what I wanted to get out of the complaint. I just said I wanted to inform her of my findings. She said she would speak with the groomer. Call ended.

I took my dog here about 6 months ago and was not impressed at all. I paid about $40 for the full package and my dog was given back to me looking like he barely even had a bath. I only encountered one staff person and although not rude, was not friendly at all. To top things off they called and said my pup was ready to go so I left right away to get him. This place was less than 5 minutes from my house and when I got there they were closed for lunch. Seriously?? The sign on the door said they'd be back at a certain time. I went back 5-10 minutes after said time and still ended up sitting in the parking lot waiting for them to open back up. Hopefully it was just a bad day for them but I was not willing to give them a second chance.

I left my Old English Bulldog for 5 days in this place. The staff was very friendly and treated my dog with care. Unfortunately, my dog received a collar injury due to my own fault. I should have told them to take off his collar and I forgot. I went back to question my dog care while under their custody and again was treated with dignity and respect. They quickly took my dog to the vet next store who treated him and gave him antibiotics at no cost to me. I am grateful and pleased with the way my pet and myself were treated and highly recommend this place to anyone who love their pet as I love mine. Thank you for taking great care of my son while I took a small vacation. Very good price and military friendly place.

Great place and out bet is next door in case anything is needed. This is the second time I've left my sweet babies here and I highly recommend them. It's not a fancy place but they have a great set up and its efficiently run- all of the dogs are taken outside separately so no risk of incident inner mingling dogs. My pups were happy to see me - but they were in great condition and I could see that they had been well cared for.

Day Camp at Anasazi is the best. Instead of the usual mob doggie day care where lots of dogs are thrown in together to fight it out, Anasazi matches doggies personalities and lets them play. My 6 month old lab, Trooper, is so excited to go to camp and is exhausted when he gets home. Tyler and Marley treat Trooper like he was their puppy. They love Trooper. I highly recommend Anasazi!

This review is long overdue. Anasazi is absolutely THE BEST. I board my dog here 2-4 times a year (I live in California, and prefer to board my animals local when I come to Sierra vista to visit family), and have had nothing but wonderful experiences each time. In fact, I'm dropping my little guy off to them tomorrow morning!I am an anxiety ridden pet mom when I'm away from my dog. I worry, especially because he gets stressed easily and doesn't like new environments, or strangers. My poor guy freezes up even at the vet he's known forever. But with Anasazi it's totally different. He is excited walking in the door and barely looks back to say bye to me. His reaction alone speaks volumes.Everyone there so clearly loves animals and will go above and beyond to make you feel like your fur baby is in good hands. They remember my dog when i call in, and are always so friendly and accommodating with scheduling! Could not ask for a better boarding experience, and I will always use them in the future! Highly recommend.

We have never left our Girls with anyone but family before and we were forced to find a place for them while we went to Jamaica for our daughters wedding. We thought Anasazi was our best bet as they do have a Vet right there. I can't thank them enough for the excellent care they gave to my very spoiled dogs. They weren't stressed and were very happy. Soooo relieved! Thank you!
