Amanda Skaff

Amanda is awesome! She choreographed our first dance, and also father/ daughter dance. She is so patient, and skilled in teaching novice dancers like us. We've had a lot of fun working with her, and highly recommend her.

I really enjoyed her dance classes. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. She was very patient with me, someone who isn't a very good dancer, she came up with an awesome dance for our wedding. I'd recommend her to anyone who wants to an awesome choreographer whether for a wedding or just to have a new experience.

Amanda is wonderful! Not only did she create beautiful choreography for us, but she taught it to us in only 5 sessions! I'd had previous dance experience but my husband had only danced a few times, and her choreography and teaching helped us dance beautifully and our guests were very impressed! She also does a great job creating choreography that is possible to execute in a wedding dress. If you aren't comfortable dancing or are worried about price or time commitment, Amanda is a great choice! Or, if you're like me and have had dancing experience, Amanda has been a professional instructor for years and will create something beautiful that suits your level. If you've been dreaming of a lovely wedding dance for your whole life - Amanda is for you! And to top it all off, you'll have tons of fun working with her.

We contacted Amanda about a week before our actual wedding date. She responded right away and scheduled our first dance lesson for the day that we asked for even though her schedule was very tight. I took some dancing lessons in middle school but for my husband it was a first time experience. Needless to say, Amanda made us feel very comfortable on the dance floor. She listened to what we wanted and the song we picked for our first dance and came up with a simple yet beautiful dance. She also had us record the entire dance step-by-step with detailed explanations on our ipad so that we could practice at home.We only had a couple of hour-long lessons but it was enough time for us to learn and perfect our dance to feel comfortable on our wedding day. The week before the wedding is the most difficult time of the planning process, but taking our wedding lessons with Amanda was so much fun and helped us stay sane during that stressful time :)

Amanda really takes the time to personalize every couple's dance so they feel comfortable with the steps and not feel overwhelmed. My fiance and I were stumbling on each other's toes when we first started our lessons with Amanda and just 3 sessions later, we felt confident for our first dance at our wedding. She even cut the music accordingly and sent to our DJ. She made this process so easy and would recommend Amanda to any couple who would like to do something more than just sway to their first dance!

After our initial discussions of what we wanted, Amanda was amazing as she constructed a Renaissance period dance combining two different styles for us. Additionally, she modified a "Thriller" routine that was the second part of our dance for friends and family at our wedding. She crafted shortened versions of both songs, and matched the song to moves that were very entertaining and actually fun to do. With a few lessons, and a number of weeks of practice, we looked great during our first dance. Amanda was exceptionally patient during our lessons and also took the time to ensure we were comfortable with all of the moves. We did have a few concerns while learning, but she quickly adapted the moves to make us both very comfortable with the routines. She also had a wonderful sense of humor and made it fun! I would highly recommend Amanda for any choreographer needs in the future to both friends or family
