Amado Territory Inn

We had a wonderful one night stay at the Amado Territory Inn. Lovely landscaped property with a cactus garden overlooking beautiful mountains to see the sun rise in the morning, or in the evening the reflection of the sun against the mountains was stunning! Our room with two double beds was spacious and very clean. The beds were super comfortable. There was a lovely sitting room with a fireplace (which we didn't use) and wine for happy hour. The highlight of the space was the breakfast room and the delicious freshly prepared meal. So good!

Stayed here one night while attending the Tubac festival of the Arts. The place was very comfortable. Room was spacious and clean. Owners were super friendly. Location and views were excellent. Only negative I have is the breakfast. We have stayed at few bed and breakfasts' and our experience is the breakfast is always amazing because it's "home cooked" along with little extras like muffins and fruit on the table. This one was disappointing, was a couple eggs, microwave bacon, and 2 tomato slices. There was coffee, a couple of juice choices and toast you had to make yourself. Also had instant oatmeal and a cereal out on table as a choice. Just seemed more like a chain hotel breakfast. Would definitely recommend for the stay though.

Absolutely trash!! We had the electricity shut off we dropped off our bags and got charged $100 cleaning fee! Would not recommend!! Save yourself the headache! If I could give zero stars I would!!!!

A little off the beaton path but a real gem. Teah and Doug are wonderful hosts. The place is clean and nicely decorated. The back porch overlooks the mountains and there are several bird feeders and hummingbird feeders bringing the birds and rabbits up close.. we even saw a roadrunner.breakfast and coffee ate top notch. Wine in the evening. The place is for sale so if you have a dream of a B&B this is move in ready.

I was really intimidated by bed and breakfasts because of the personal factor but I have never had a more positive and superior customer service experience when it comes to accommodations. The owners were so nice and considerate. They made us breakfast every morning and let me tell you, they made the best waffles I have EVER had! They were crispy with this delicious blueberry sauce on it and homemade whipped cream. I purposely avoid ordering waffles from most places because they are always soggy and batter tasting. Don't get me started on how good their omelets were. They were really good about gauging how much I wanted to talk and after a few hours our conversations felt as natural as talking to an old friend. The rooms were emaculately cleaned and were comfy and spacious. The bedding felt crisp and brand new. The bathrooms were huge and made it comfortable to get ready in. The grounds are beautiful. They showed us all around the inn and told us of their dreams to expand. They truly care about their guests and the inn. They told us about these really great hiking spots which we went on later in the day. They really made me feel like a valued guest and I really appreciated that since I had gone into the b&b situation kind of shy. You also can't beat the great room rates in comparison to the amazing service you get.This is the place to go if you plan to stay in Arizona. My only recommendation would be to rent a car since downtown is about 30 mins away. Great service, amazing breakfast, clean rooms and beautiful scenery. You can't go wrong with my new friends at the amado inn.

Just as a note, this review is for the "Amado Territory Inn". Okay, so here it is: I am in love with this Bed & Breakfast. There, I said it.My fiance and I are planning a wedding in the area, and decided to try out the Territory Inn to feel out the B&B as a potential spot for guests to stay. Sorry, guests. We booked the whole place just for us. The Amado Territory Inn is AMAZING. As I understand it, the B&B has recently come under new ownership. The couple that runs it now is unbelievably kind and accommodating - it felt like we were royalty. The B&B offers a full breakfast in the morning, but as we have been eating vegan we told them not to worry about us. No, no, no - said the hospitable managers - we will make something for you. And boy, did they ever! Cara, one of the managers, actually took an online vegan cooking class in order to learn how to prepare us meals and even offered us some of the dinner she had cooked for her own family!! I mean, how kind is that?! They also went out of their way to make a vegan chocolate torte, which was soooo tasty, just for the two of us. The Inn is an absolute paradise. I hesitate to tell you all of this, because I selfishly want it for all my own, but you must try out this Inn. It is a little slice of heaven, run by two of the kindest people you will ever meet. Cannot wait for our wedding next year so we can stay there with our bridal party!!

Stayed for only one night - but it is really a great place! Doug & Teah were very gracious and accommodating hosts. Had a nice living room vibe with fireplace and wine. I didn't eat breakfast, but my sister claims it was great! Absolutely beautiful rooms & grounds. Very pretty!

This is a fantastic place to stay. Very peaceful and relaxing. Comfortable beds excellent breakfast wide open beautiful Landscaping. Cool owners definitely will stay here again.

Had a wonderful time. Hosts were fantastic and made sure we had a great breakfast even though we had to leave before the normal breakfast time.Lovely sitting and relaxing on the back porch watching the wildlife. Highly recommend it.

Just spent a wonderful night at the Amazon Inn. Wish it had been a week! The room was lovely, well appointed, large and the bed comfortable. The owners are welcoming and they have maintained the property beautifully. Breakfast was delicious and the setting is peaceful and surrounded by gorgeous scenery.Perfect place for a getaway, wedding venue or retreat spot. You won't be disappointed.
