Alvaro’s Hot Dogs

YUM as always. Super fast service and very fresh food. There are some tables and chairs outside to sit at too.

We heard through friends about this food stand...it's usually located at the corner of S. Kinney Road and W. About Highway...diagonally across from McDonald's.The dogs are awesome...made to order and the gentleman making them is very gracious. Instead of the dog being wrapped in bacon, he serves a bacon wrapped pepper popper...so delicious!We'll go there again the next time we are in Tucson!!

Sometime last year stopped at the flying J gas station to fuel up. Noticed a hot dog stand with lots of people across the street. We figured they may be good because of the amount of people there. We ordered one hot dog and they were pricier at $3. We paid and sat aside to eat. It was the best hot dog ever. Frank wrapped in bacon and grilled, with guacamole grilled onions. Good ol'frijoles de la oya, mayo, and mustard. The bread buttered and well toasted on the griddle. I brought my son this time and he agreed. Not one bit disappointed!

Amazing hot dogs! Super friendly vendor would highly recommend! Classic Sonoran hot dogs that taste the same as Mexico's!
