Been going to Tam's for a long time now and have never been disappointed with the services or pricing

Found this business through Yelp review of our GM Isabella J 's review . I look for elite yelpers reviews as Bella suggests . West side of oracle s or river Nw of tucson mall & the auto mall . Plenty of parking but busy small strip mall. Asked for Tam and told her Isabella of Yelp review bought me to her establishment . Several employees working . Nice shop looks professional , clean , organized . Brought in a 3 piece Nordstrom suit bought online needing alterations. Charge $12 hem slacks . Alter jacket 60$ vest 20$ must pay with cash or check no credit cards.Will update upon return .I have confidence they do a professional satisfactory alteration .Considering cost of professional labor & shop overhead price seems fair but I didn't shop around . Most of all happy to find the alteration service with Yelp reviews creating confidence .

I have been coming here for YEARS. They have probably altered over 30 pieces of clothing for me and have a fast turn at. Helping, zippers, rips/tears, taking clothes in, etc. they have done it all for me. And Great customer service. And Sometimes if it's something small, like a zipper they will fix it while I wait. I definitely recommend this place.

Worst service ever!!! Lost 2 pairs of my pants and EXTREMELY rude customer service. Walked in to pick up my dress and did not tell me it was cash only (sketch?) and shooed me out until I brought my card. I'm appalled at how rude they are and was allowed to pay card previously. Very sketchy business now.

This shop is lovely. Inexpensive. Reliable. Pleasant. I had some pants hemmed and a dress sewed up to maintain modesty. It was quick, easy, and inexpensive. Also, I've had experiences where a seamstress shamed me for my cheap clothes or wanting something altered for sentimental reasons. With Tam, there was no shame. Definitely recommend.

I have a seamstress in town who did my wedding dress, but she is a little pricey, so I sought out someone a bit more affordable and accessible to hem a cocktail dress that I wanted to bring on an upcoming trip. I came in around 5p on a Wednesday, and Tam saw me right away to mark the dress. She was very nice, as were the other two ladies working, but I did have a tough time understanding her. She did a great job on my dress and I was able to pick it up the following Monday in plenty of time for my trip. Prices are reasonable, and they have decent hours, 9-6 Monday through Saturday. They do not accept debit or credit cards at all, so prepare to pay with cash or check when you pick up.

Have been going to Alterations by Tam for about 5 years now. Last time was two weeks ago. I have no reason to go anywhere else. Their work is outstanding. I have had 6 full suits, half a dozen or so pants, and a few shirts altered by them. Always done in a fair amount of time and the work is just perfect.

Alterations for suits is second to none. Highly recommended. Been using for maybe 10years. Never been disappointed

All of my alterations and fixes are done by Alerations by Tam. They are the very best and I highly recommend them for any sewing work you need completed. I have gone to Tam for years and she has never disappointed.

I brought in a dress that I needed to be tighter around the waist & when I came back a week later it was basically unchanged & I was told that they weren't able to do anything. Not sure why I wasn't told this during the first consultation or why I was charged for basically nothing.
