Alloro D.O.C.

My favorite part of this Hilton is Alloro. Friendly service all around, especially from our server Jessica. With outstanding food and portion sizes. The lemon pepper wings were better tasting than the ones at Wing Stop. And our vegetariana pizza was well prepared and shareable. I also had a lemonade while she ordered a sprite. We both ordered dessert, something we rarely do. My gelato trio was amazing, and my wife enjoyed her brownie sundae. We will be staying here for a few more nights and plan to make Alloro our dinner destination at least one more time.

This is the restaurant inside Tucson's east side Hilton. Our party of 3 went for dinner last night. We made a reservation but is was not necessary. We got the calamari appetizer. The calamari was fried perfectly and it was not tough or chewy. The tomato dipping sauce (pomodoro?) was excellent. Husband had the beef short rib dinner (with broccolini and polenta) and our friend had the beef short ribs over pasta. Both of those dishes were very very good. I was looking at an outdated menu on yelp before we went, and I had picked out the spaghetti and meatballs. It was not on the main menu any more, but I found it on the "extra" menu, so I ordered it. It was disappointing. Husband enjoyed the spicy margaritas. The service was friendly but slow. I would be willing to try this place again and I wouldn't hesitate to eat here if I was staying at the Hilton and didn't want to go out.

This place was located in Hilton and it's quite big with a big bar. It has mountains view. The service and the food were great. I liked the garlic bread and the short rib.

We had a lovely Christmas Day dinner here with the family. There were several stations of food for the buffet. The appetizer station had shrimp cocktail, meats, cheeses, bruschetta and more. There was a carving station with lamb, Wellington and ham. All was cooked to perfection. They also had an area with a chicken dish, potatoes, veggies and desserts. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for the holidays and allowed us many places for family photos. Our server Megan was very attentive and as was the manager, Darin. They both made sure we had everything we needed.

Darren took great care of us! We enjoyed a light dinner, wine and cocktails during our overnight stay at the Hilton. We would definitely come back to dine even if we weren't guests at the hotel.

It's still delicious here! I came to Alloro with my family, last weekend.As far as hotel restaurants go, sometimes they can be on the generic side. Most offering traditional American fare consosting of soups, salads, and sandwiches. Most of the time, that's perfectly fine, but that won't draw in many locals. Alloro on the other hand, is a very fresh concept. The quality of Italian food they offer here rivals many higher-end Italian restaurants that I've patronized.On the Sunday we came in, we were the only ones there besides someone at the bar; that's a crying shame as this place absolutely rocks. The service was prompt, friendly, and informative, and the food is out of this world. I ordered the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp, and grilled chicken. For a relatively simple dish, they did a tremendous job. Also, try the Alloro spritzer.I cannot wait to try all of the other things the menu has to offer.

Decent service. The food was cold and just not good. I actually think it was not made fresh but warmed up. Wish I had not wasted my time and money. Very few customers in a hotel setting should have been my first warning.

Me and my boyfriend both got food poisoning after eating from this palace. We were up all night throwing up. The worst part about it was having to drive 5 and a half hours back home in pain with diarrhea and nausea. We are both still very sick. Highly disappointed. The positive was it was not crowded and our server was nice.

Incredibly misleading menu on line and in open table and yelp.Very limited choice. For all meals. Nothing like posted on line. Came hungry and left hungry

We used to think this was the best Italian restaurant. My pasta sat so long, it was like jello when it arrived. Think bad meal at Olive Garden at twice the price
