Back this morning for fresh home made corn tortillas. It's 45 minutes over here from the house , but so worth it. The most fresh are in the big white boat coolers in front of the butchers case. Still warm

I love Alejandro's! Their Mexican bread is always fresh and delicious. We get their hotdog buns often. They are quick and everyone is very friendly.

Ok so first of all look for Mercadito La Unica, it is not listed on yelp and Alejandro's is inside. This is basically a standard Carnicia, meat market, small groceries, the bakery and little eatery. We purchased fresh rolls here as these were served at another restaurant we ate at, so we had to go get. We ordered Chorizo/eggs platter and bowl of Cocido. Not the best, not the worst just average. There are about 5 tables to sit, appears that most pic up to go. I would buy from bakery again but probably not order from the eatery inside.

Gosh, after reading the Yelp reviews I thought we had to stop by just to see and try it. It's super small, but they did have some sundries that you usually only find in Mexico, which was nice/fun. We thought there was a lunch place based on reviews, so we came hungry. We saw a few seats blocked off in a corner, but no place to order and no food being served. Maybe this was something they did before the pandemic, but not the day we were there. Tortillas were done being made for the day, so the only option was bagged tortillas on the shelves. My kids tried two of the pan dulces, which were nice. When we got home that night, we had the tortillas with our tacos, and they surprisingly had zero flavor. The next morning, they were completely stale, so we pitched them.I'd say, if you're in the area for something else, stop by, but don't make a special trip.

This little market was our last visit before making the drive back to Phoenix. I was obsessed with Chipolan and Sonoran dogs on my visit to Tucson, AZ. Little did I know, Alejandro's Tortilla Factory supplies a lot of the local Sonoran dog stands/trucks around in Tucson. I had to grab a bag for myself before leaving town. What a gem of a place! The supermercado was filled with fresh tortillas, pan dulce, snacks, sweets, etc. There were a lot of Cheetos/Frito snacks that you would not have found in big chain grocery stores. These snacks are mostly found in Mexico. Cheetos Bolitas are my absolute favorite! Can't wait to come back to Tucson again!

These tortillas have gone down hill. I've had to throw the last three of four dozen away due to them sticking together. Going to BUY Tortillaland brand dough tortillas for now on and just warm them up myself..

Our neighbor gifted us 1/2 a dozen green corn tamales as for the holidays. We have, in the past been very disappointed with them from other vendors & we were Thrilled with Alejandro's Tortilla Factory's. My husband is a gourmet chef & is extremely discerning about our food. He told our neighbor who gave them to us that that Your green corn tamales were fluffy & flavorful. We will be coming for more of them...Happy Holidays to All & Thank You

I have been buying 20 lbs of prepared masa here for over 10 years for Christmas and it was always good, but this year it was a disappointment for the price. It had chunks of lard in it and the consistency was not smooth like it should be. I had to add Maisena and salt a mix again. Sorry Alejandro's but you just lost a good customer. Will not recommend your masa!

Terrible customer service at Alejandro's!!! Check EVERYTHING you order BEFORE leaving as they will not exchange an item they messed up providing. I recently purchased something there and it was supposed to me red menudo, but they gave me white. It was for an event at the DM AFB a couple of days later. Well, when I got home (35 miles from the restaurant) I just placed the container in the refrigerator. Then a couple days later, when I was going to take it to the event, I looked inside and discovered THEIR mistake. I called them. But the call went to voicemail and left a message. I called them two more times and again no human answering it went straight to voicemail. I then drive back to the place with my receipt. I explained their error and I asked them to make it right by giving me the red and disposing of the white they gave me. They refused. They said the health department does not allow it. I wasn't there for the health department; I was there for an exchange of product. I was there to get what I paid for. THEY REFUSED!!! I ended up buying another 1/2 gallon of the red menudo and throwing their mistake in their trash. They make great food but have terrible customer service.
