I would give them a ZERO star if I could for extremely poor communication and response to my service calls and warranty as well as poor workmanship. I have been put through a tremendous amount of stress and frustrations for the 11 years since Alan Bradley Roofing (ABR) installed my new shingles roof. On 2/18/2014, ABR came to install my new shingles roof and since then, my roof has had multiple leaks in different areas of the house at different times. The first leak came in the summer of 2014 where a tremendous amount of water leaked into our hallway cabinetry. ABR came and discovered that the AC drainage pipe (we have a rooftop AC unit) was not propery reconnected after the completion of their job. Hence condensation from the AC unit flowed into our house. The 2nd leak incident came on 3/27/2017 when we noticed water damaged stains on the ceiling of our sunroom as well as mold on the wall and ceiling. We contacted ABR numerous times without success. They repeatedly avoided our calls. Finally, Adam came on 4/5/17 to inspect the source of the leak and on 4/21/17 to seal around the AC unit. He claimed that the leak could be from the AC unit itself and not from his roofing job. I promptly consulted with two different AC companies but they did not find anything wrong with the AC unit or its placement on the rooftop. We proceeded to get the mold reated and damaged wall and ceiling replaced. The 3rd leak incident came on 4/15/2024 at the same location where the previous leak in the sunroom had occurred on 3/27/17. This time, the water damage and mold appearance were even more extensive. Again, I contacted ABR numerous time and again they avoided my calls repeatedly. Adam finally came out for an inspection on 4/22/24 and made a "minor" repair on 5/15/24. On 6/15/24, we once again treated the mold and replaced the damaged wall, ceiling and insulation. On 6/25/24, Adam came out to perform a water test and claimed that no leak repair is needed because he was unable to produce any leak from the test. On 7/7/24, Adam came out to install an L-metal flashing to direct water away from a part of the roof where he thinks water was getting into the sunroom. I contacted AZROC concerning this repeated issue during the 3rd incident but unfortunately I was told by AZROC that my case has exceeded its statute of limitations and therefore, they were unable to help me. Apparently, the statute of limitations is only for 2 years after completion of install. Good to know for future reference. Subsequently, I decided to pursue this with BBB on 6/17/2024, hoping for a good resolution,... The 4th leak incident came on 11/3/2024 after a very heavy rainfall. It was at the same exact location as the 2nd and 3rd incidents. Apparently Adam had not fix the problem. Once again, our newly replaced wall, ceiling and insulation were damaged. On 11/15/2024, BBB closed my case after ABR claimed in their statement to BBB that the weight of my AC unit is the cause of the leak and not their poor workmanship. Hence, ABR refused to be held liable. On 12/8/2024, my husband again went on the roof to inspect for the source of the leak and upon removing some shingles around the AC base, he did not find the weight or the legs of the AC unit to be the source. However, he did find that during the original install on 2/18/2014, ABR's workers applied rubber sealant instead of step metal flashing to seal a large gap seam that was between a bedroom and the sunroom. The rubber sealant contracted and expanded and subsequently cracked, leading to the leak into our sunroom. ABR had repeatedly refused to do the right thing by finding the source of the leak and fixing it. Without knowing the true cause, they chose to perform minimal "band-aid" patchings that were not effective and our leak continues 11 years later. They had also refused to compensate us for the multiple wall and ceilling replacements as well as the mold treatments. ABR was very friendly and nice in the beginning when they were installing my new roof. Just don't count on them to respond and do the right thing when your new roof leaks even with their 8-year warranty. My shingles roof should have lasted at least 25 years, but it lasted less than 3. In my opinion, they were the worst licensed contractor I have ever encountered and honestly, they should NOT be working in the trade.

Carol, the owner, claims that with their 5 yr warranty it's never necessary for them to go back and fix the roof even though pictures show there is a problem. Quoted us back their full price while it's under warranty to go back and repair the white roof coating and seal around pipes and sunroof. Told us if we got someone else or cleaned the roof or anything else it would void the warranty.

I can't speak to their competence as roofers, but they worked on a house in my historic neighborhood this week and left the street littered with trash.

Our home was 30 yrs old , the roof had been serviced a few times ; and we were told by a trusted repairman that we needed a new complete roof, We did our research and were disappointed with four contractors we called. One contractor we knew about for over thirty years was Alan Bradley Roofing. The receptionist was excellent , she took all my information , made me aware of what the process was and gave me an accurate time schedule (that met my needs) to meet with an appraiser who was a (member of the owners family)When the meeting occurred we were told that aerial observations and measurements had already done and would need to be confirmed. All of the materials for the job were named and we were assured of the highest quality available and they far surpassed the original used. The crew would work from the start until the job was finished with as little interruption as possible the work crew was a self contained unit supervised by a foreman and they would clean up after each days of work. The daily schedule would start around 7:00am and go until mid afternoon (weather depending) If ever needed the Alan Bradley Roofing directors were always available for any reason regarding the job, via foreman or supervisor or by phone. When we compared the bid to others given. The Alan Bradley Roofing appraiser's presentation was more exact and professional for the job. The materials used were equal or better than the other bidders. The cost was less than others item by item . The crew were courteous and the site clean up after the job completion was excellent. The final cost of the contract was less, with a better warranty and job assurances. The final inspection by the Alan Bradley Roofing family was far superior than any other roofing contractor we interviewed. We are thoroughly satisfied and per our experience Highly recommend Alan Bradley Roofing .They are the ONLY call we Needed to make! With Respect, Jeff and Ronnie S.11/8/24

Alan Bradley is awesome. Carol, in the office is knowledgeable about the industry; she is both warm and personable in her interactions with customers, and she shared insights that helped us make wise decisions about our new roof. She was able to accommodate our idiosyncrasies--to make out the invoice and proposal so that it matched the scope of work that our insurance agreed to pay for (part of the roof was covered by insurance, part we paid ourselves). Gavin was conscientious and thorough in making sure the work was completed to the highest standards. When he wasn't sure of an answer, he looped Zach in who was knowledgeable in historical building methods. At Gavin's suggestion, we went with the high profile ridge cap. It looks sexy. Many of the employees have been with the company for 15 years or more, which says something about the quality of their work and the way that they treat people with respect. The price was reasonable as well. I have nothing but good to say about Alan Bradley. We are satisfied.

We had a company come out to look at repairing the roofs on two houses in Tucson since one was leaking, and both were maintained by the same previous owner so likely in similar condition. They informed us the roofs need to be replaced, which they don't do, and they recommended Alan Bradley Roofing. The reviews I read at the time indicated Alan Bradley is highly rated (I can't imagine how after our experience - but after looking at more reviews they indicate the place is now run by the son and has gone completely downhill) and we were really looking forward to working with them. On 1/19, I called and spoke to a lady in the office and she informed me that their technician would be in touch to schedule an appointment to look at the roofs. She told me that the longest wait was getting this callback and after that things would move along pretty quickly. Since it was January we thought we had plenty of time and foolishly decided to give them a chance. On 2/28, after not hearing a thing from them, I called to see if we were still on the list for a callback. I believe I spoke to a different lady in the office and she said their notes show the request was sent to the tech but he never responded to it, so she was going to resend it and we should get a callback quickly this time since it was the second request (looking back, clearly we should have run for the hills at this point).Nearly 2 weeks passed before the tech called us (he said he had been on vacation) and we scheduled the appt for Thursday 3/23. The tech arrived on time and after the inspection he told me the roof was a little spongy - not the worst he has seen - but he was concerned it might be too dangerous for them to take the job (Uh, what? You're a roofing company that replaces roofs, are you serious?). We have had 4 other roofers come out and not one thought there was anything unusual here. The tech told me that he was heading back to the office and would file the paperwork and the folks back in the office would decide whether or not they would be able to do this job. He said the person that makes the call was out, but that we should hear back early next week likely on Monday or Tuesday. At this point we had no intention of doing business with these jokers but I was curious what their excuse was now, so on Monday 4/3 (almost 10 days later, not "early next week", I called back, again, to see what was going on now. I was informed that the tech never filed the paperwork before going on vacation again, but she knew he said one of the jobs might be too dangerous. She indicated that it was his call as to whether or not they could take the job (so who's lying, the tech who said the folks in the office decide, or the lady in the office saying it is his call?). She said she would follow-up after talking to him when he gets back.It has been two months since and we never heard back from them, apparently they don't even have the basic decency to follow-through on calling us back, especially after wasting months of our time. I was nothing but polite and generous with these people but now we can't get someone out before the end of monsoon (and we started scheduling more estimates in March when it became clear this place was a joke - or a scam based on some of their reviews), so thanks for that jerks!I strongly encourage everyone avoid this two-bit company like the plague. This has to be the worst company I have ever tried to do business with, thank God we never ended up hiring them, especially after reading their Yelp reviews!

My roof was done by this company and is still under warranty. I called twice to have a roof inspection following what I was afraid might have been storm damage. Although the receptionist thought my request was reasonable, Carol did not schedule me. Not even a courtesy call. I would not recommend them for this reason.

Outstanding Roof Company in every respect, I would say the Best in Tucson! I am writing this review because I am completely satisfied with my recent roof replacement done by Alan Bradley Roofing. From scheduling with Carol, to conducting and providing the estimate by Adam to roof replacement with Dakota's Hot Crew and the eventual final roof coating. I could not have been more impressed with the quality and expedience of work. What a completely professional and unbelievably hard working team!My roof replacement was necessitated by a microburst that occurred during this most recent monsoon season. The microburst lifted and folded over approximately 1/3 of my flat roof. I quickly had a temporary roof repair done prior to Adam's arrival for the estimate, but he was still able to provide a quick and accurate estimate and got me on the roof replacement schedule with Carol. At the time Alan Bradley, as well as all the Roof Companies in Tucson were backed up from the multiple microburst incidence that had occurred. Some companies were scheduling estimates more than two months out and some had their phone going straight to voicemail and not returning your call. So I waited until my turn came up with Alan Bradley for roof replacement (approximately 2 months), which happened within a reasonable amount of time given the circumstances mentioned. Anyway, once Dakota's Hot Team started working on my roof I realized I was completely satisfied that I waited for them and completely satisfied in their work!So if you need a complete roof replacement I am here to say that I would strongly recommend Alan Bradley Roofing to All! After that the only other thing I'd like to add is to say Thank You again to Carol, Adam, Dakota and your team and the final two gentleman that put the finishing two coats of coating on my roof! You guys are All Outstanding!!!

Sadly, since the son took over the business the price has gone way up and the follow-up has gone way down. That's obviously the reason we're seeing a lot more of Roofsavers around this neighborhood!

This company does work and then "disappears" when it comes to warranty work. Won't return voicemails. DO NOT use this company
