AJ’s famous Hollywood Hot Dogs

From what I can see this Hamburger/Hot Dog cart has never been reviewed. Hopefully there will be more reviews. I stumbled on this location while working in the area. I was given a business card and returned the following day. I ordered their cheeseburger, which comes with fries. This was a phenomenal burger. Fries were cooked to a golden crisp and were very good. It was a bit warm outside so we ate in our car. There is normally a shade, however monsoon's were in the forecast.The owner is very friendly and lives to have a conversation. This is a must try for those who like the roadside stands.

I thought all the hype on his burgers being the best burger in town from a food truck. So we checked it out. The burger was very tasty and cooked perfectly. You could taste the charbroil taste. The bacon was cooked just like I wanted it (soft not hard). He also grilled the onions because my wife can't eat uncooked onions. The special sauce was very tasty with a little kick to it. I would but the burger in my top 5 in the city. I like the French fries. They were thin cut. My wife preferred thick cut fries.We will definitely going back to taste the other items on the menu.The bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink was $15.00. Normal the size of the burger could be cut in half and have it for lunch the next day. I feel this a good price for the quality of the food.The service was a bit slow because he make's everything from scratch.

Excellent food and great stories fro Hollywood. Will go back to have his famous hot dogs.

We really enjoyed AJ's Hollywood burgers and fries! Everyone around us had great things to say and service was great. Normally going out to eat I spend a lot more. We will definitely be returning for more!!

I love coming to Aj's and eating some delicious food being made for the East of Tucson. I had the Ribs today and dang they are Tucson's best baby-back ribs I have had!!! come get some before they all gone!!!

I really want to leave a great review because the burger was actually really good, the truck looked clean and covered outdoor seating was provided. However, waiting over 45 minutes as the first an only customer at an event they were catering, only to not even receive my full order wasn't acceptable especially when I assured them I could come back another time/later that day when they were ready to serve. I kept being told "10 more minutes", "15 more minutes" as they were preparing to open for the event so I patiently waited until I simply couldn't anymore. I asked for my money back and instead I got half my order plus $5 dollars and 2 sodas for me and my toddler. Mr.AJ then ended up catching me at my car to apologize and offered the next meal on the house. I think AJ is a hard working business owner that truly meant well and I appreciated him trying to make it right. I'll take him up on his offer and update this review at that time.
