My first round of therapy here was for a bruised rotator cuff, and the crew did an amazing job helping me on the road to recovery. Now, a few years later, I returned to get some recovery help for an L4/5 ruptured disc in my back.Everyone in this practice goes out of their way to make sure that whatever you need, you get. From the front desk to all the PT's and their assistants, everyone makes it clear that they are a partner in your progress. I cannot say too many great things about how concerned everyone is with your welfare and road to recovery. I was discharged and "rang the gong" today, and I will miss my twice weekly visits and the encouragement and great support I got from everyone there.

Agility is a great place to get the help you need to feel your best. My frozen shoulder has gotten so much better under the extremely knowledgeable and thorough care provided by Kathy Mc Ewan, the physical therapist and manager, and her great staff of techs:Teri, Danny, Lexi, and Fiona. Everyone has been informative, patient, calm, and encouraging. I know I still have a bit to go to feel totally healed, but with their guidance and modeling I will arrive.

I have spent the last ten years telling medical doctors about the chronic pain in my left thigh and hip. They all said the same thing. "You have symptoms of fibermyalogia, pain comes with aging, and here is some meds to take." I refused the meds and lived in chronic pain. No one ever suggested physical therapy. A family member needed physical therapy after knee replacement surgery. His therapists were Danny and Peter who were awesome physical therapists. I decided to try physical therapy. My therapist was Kathy Panetta, PT. She took the time to hear my story of many years of chronic pain. Then she assessed my body. She told me that I needed to do stretching exercises, use a foam roller to lessen my severe hip pain, and use 3-5 pound weights to strengthen my core. She gave me exercises to do daily. I dedicated myself to following through at home with every exercise she gave me. She started with four stretching exercises (two reps of 30, two times daily), and to use a foam roller on my outer thighs. At the end of my six week treatment plan I was doing twenty-two individual exercises (stretching and core). During therapy Kathy stretched and manipulated my body so I could identify the areas that needed more stretching and strength. Weekly I began to feel amazingly better both physically and mentally. I could sleep through the night, wake up without severe pain just to walk to the bathroom. When teaching I could get up and down from the floor without clinching my teeth. I no longer go to therapy but I continue to do all my exercises (am & pm). I have renewed my passion of hiking again, I can ride or drive in a car without teary-eyed pain, I can sit and watch a movie at the theater without the anxiety of feeling I won't be able to walk afterwards. Literally, I have my life back and I feel wonderful. I call Kathy my angel. None of us need to live our life in chronic pain, we all have "our" life to live. Physical therapy gives us the opportunity to live our life and do everything we have dreamed of doing again.

So I have been to Agility Sports PT a few times now, and I am a big fan! On my first visit I filled out a paper survey and an electronic one. Both were used by the PT to get to know me and my physical ailments. Before we started some stretching, my PT and I spent a good deal of time discussing my pain and daily activities. She really wanted to get to the root of my issue. Agility Sports PT also uses a "needling" technique to relax muscles. It's a little strange, especially if you don't like needles (and let's be honest, who does?). But it really works! Not just for a few hours after, but for a few days. All in all, Agility Sports PT is a quality establishment, and I will definitely continue my sessions there.

I've gone to Agility for more than 2 years and they are the best! These guys and gals do just about every possible physical therapy treatment around so whatever is ailing you they can probably fix it. They do quick acupuncture, stretching, kinseo taping, massage, and acupressure. They make it fun to be at therapy with their positive attitudes and casual banter. Even though my injury has healed I still go whenever I can just for a tune up of my spine, muscles, and joints.

I have years of physical therapy in my life for a myriad of orthopedic injuries. As a winter visitors, this is my second session at Agility and Spine Physical Therapy, West Office on St. Mary's.My 1st visit 4 years ago was very good, my most recent experience is exceptional. The lead Physical Therapist, Alex, was clearly the reason and other staff were capable as well. I am impressed with Alex's thorough knowledge of my injury and her ability to sense barriers that might delay my recovery. Alex, too. Is an exceptional motivator while remaining alert to my capabilities both physical and mental. The office staff are helpful as well, always sending reminders of sessions and helping me make alter appointments when my circumstances required changes on my schedule.

I have been a client at Agility Spine and Sports Physical Therapy (West, near St. Mary's) 3 times over the past 4 years. First, in 2016, after 2 spinal fusions. The second, in 2017 before a revision surgery, and now in 2020, following a total knee replacement. I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia. The Physical Therapists have always been professional, friendly, respectful, and do an excellent job of helping me get my mobility back on track!
