Agility Spine and Sports Physical Therapy

Stayed away for awhile due to the pandemic but am going back and feel comfortable doing so. You have to wear a mask and they take your temperature when you come in. You have to wash your hands before being seen and they spray down the tables and equipment before you use it. I still see Andy and still really appreciate his help. I see him for my back and knees. I have ongoing low back pain but developed tightness in my upper back that was restricting my breathing and he gave me some new exercises for that that has really helped me to be able to breathe more freely. Andy tailors the exercises to my needs and I have found them to be extremely helpful. He has a wide variety of tools and techniques to adapt to your needs. The dry needling is helpful when my muscles are really tight. If I need to be taped, he will do so. He will show you how to tape yourself as well. I sometimes get heat or ice-with a tens unit (electrical stimulation). If one thing doesn't help, there will be an alternative. The front staff are always friendly and helpful. A bonus is the deer that come down in front of the business to drink water and feed on the tree.

I'm so happy I found Agility PT in Tucson Arizona. I've been struggling with this ailment for two months now. Your therapist was able to diagnose it and treat me with fantastic results. I highly recommend Agility PT.

I'm halfway through my program here, but I strongly feel that Andy has given me so much help and so much hope that I must leave a review for Agility. I was referred here by my primary care physician, and I got so lucky. Here's a bulleted list of just some of the reasons I love Agility:* They have been super upfront about costs and so helpful/patient with my questions about insurance/payments. * Their treatment program for me is well-rounded: they work on my body in its current state without judgement and have empowered me to continue healing by showing me new stretches, exercises, and ways I can take home with me to work on my body in the future for when my program ends. (Everything they have taught me I can do at home.)* The entire staff has been so pleasant, welcoming, non-judgmental, and so helpful. * The space is neat and clean, and they are always so timely and prompt. I have never had to wait for my appointment.Overall I hope that when my program is done I will not need to visit them again but I know that if my problem returns in the future or if something else develops I can trust them to work with me to get back to feeling better.

I'm a competitive golfer. This was my first visit. I went in with excruciating back pain and have been barely able to walk for the last two weeks after my last tournament.. They were able to get me in with 30 minute's notice. Andy was amazing! Very attentive, and quickly and professionally diagnosed the source of my pain. After an hour of stretching, massage, and dry needling, the pain was gone. I will be gladly following his 2 to 3 times a week regimen. Thanks for being exactly what I needed, when I needed it!

Hands on and what muscles were caucusing the problem and the multi approach needed to make me well & happy again. A happy upbeat place that makes it enjoyable to work out there. I walked out far better than I walked in thanks to the Wipper snappers!Jerry Puckett

I can't say enough good things about our experience here. I took my 9 year old daughter here and the therapists made sure she was having fun while working on strengthening her knee after surgery. Everyone was nice and extremely knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

I had two appointments with Jim at Agility. I could not get him to listen to me. I came in with a consult for spinal and thoracic pt and got only exercises for my legs and balance. I asked him at least five times about exercises for my spine and he ignored me. After exercising for a week he wanted me to use my session to do my exercises., i refused so he ran to the computer where he mostly stayed for the rest of the session. On the way out the admin gave me a printout of my new exercises. You guessed it: two new exercises leg and balance. Don't waste your time. this is pt at its worst

I suffered a serious spinal cord injury and saw the Agility Team for 8 months of PT. The outcome was outstanding! The professionals at Agility quickly and safely transitioned me from using a walker to a cane and then to unassisted walking. I can't recommend them enough, Alex, Steve and the rest of the Team are awesome!

Had my appointment willy-nilly cancelled without any notice. I showed up and was told it was cancelled.

Angels and miracle workers work here. Last month, I attempted to lift a very heavy 95 pound object and popped my L3 right out of alignment. It sounded like a champagne cork when the injury occurred. It was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever done in my life and a bad lesson learned. After it happened and for days afterwards, I could hardly breathe and was in a lot of pain. I could hardly walk let alone (try to) bend over. My therapist, Lauren, is a gifted "healer." It's like she can see into my body and knows every spot that's affected just by her touch. Not only does she inspire me to work harder at the exercises, she offers encouragement when I need it the most and she is very empathetic. She truly cares about her patients and it shows. I had given up hope that I would ever get better again but I am... slowly but surely. I am making progress and feel like I am on the road to recovery. I'm so glad I found this place. I would highly recommend this PT clinic. I've been to other clinics in the past 25 years for knee problems and hip replacement post surgery PT. Agility PT is, by far, the best PT clinic I have ever been to. I'm also thankful it is on the west side of Tucson just up the street from where I live. Very convenient. The office staff is equally incredible.
