Agape Hospice & Palliative Care

Both Kevin and Katherine were so helpful when discussing Hospice care for my brother... I recommend them highly.

I cannot say enough about the compassionate care and attention I received from the entire staff at Agape Hospice during the days prior to my mother's passing. From intake personnel, social workers, nurses, case workers and bereavement counselors, they were available and ready to provide whatever help or assistance was needed in those stressful last few days. I was sole caregiver for my 93-year old mother and just hearing the words, "You've done your job, Pam, we will take over now." lifted a huge weight off my shoulders. I have always heard of how wonderful a program Hospice is but having them by your side during difficult times truly does restore your belief in humanity and that there are people that do care.Agape Hospice offers complete care and assistance not only for the loved one that is passing but the entire family after a death as well which is also a wonderful program that is so needed.I highly recommend the Agape Hospice team and will always remember the assistance they provided. As a mobile Notary,I visit Hospice patients often.Katherine,backed up by Sabrina and her other teamates,runs a compassionate,calm and considerate organization.If I ever had to contemplate putting my Dad into a hospice setting,Agape would be great choice.

These people are incredible! I have never met such caring and thoughtful folks. They took care of my best friend so well and were so accommodating to all of us. Their aftercare is superb also. The staff was kind and loving to their patients and the professional staff was comprehensive in their care.Highly recommend!

Out of all the hospice choices, this is not the one I would choose for my loved one. The staff did not support our family and would not allow input from those closest to the patient. The staff was unable to evaluate the side effects of medications that were newly prescribed and merely attributed the decline to "the disease" instead of noticing that the decline was due to the side effects of medications. I did not find the staff professional or comprehensive in their care.

I write this to thank Agape for caring for my mother when she was ready to pass from this life. The staff was professional, especially when they explained how the process of a loved one's dying was likely to take place. The words from the nurses and case manager were always kind while being realistic. And in the end, my mother was comfortable. I am grateful that Agape were here for her and my family, and that they continue to do great work for other families facing the same situation.
