We used to enjoy coming to A&W to grab some comfort food and use our free birthday root beer float coupon when it came around. Tonight, it was a different story. Angelica was unfriendly and told us she wouldn't accept the coupon due to not having a scanner, even though the float was already made and we had no issues using coupons in the past. I have no reason to come here anymore, unfortunately.

It was great food, great root beer floats! The drive thru is located in the back, the prices could be a little better, but overall, very friendly staff and AMAZING root beer floats!

Refreshing stop for gas and a frosty mug (or large plastic cup) of store-made A&W root beer. A requirement when making the long ass drive to New Mexico. This wont be the fastest stop you'll ever make but the reward of one of their root beer floats is well worth it. The float which came in a long towering plastic cup was strangely proportioned at 70% creamy vanilla soft serve and 30% root beer. Now some might say that's a huge win for the consumer because the soft serve is more valuable. So from a value point, it was excellent. Perhaps I would have liked more root beer but maybe that's just a preference of mine. - YES! You can reduce the calories of your float by using diet rootbeer to save 300 calories.

Well, have to downgrade the rating based on my visit today. Order was incomplete. Paid for the 3 pc chicken tender meal and didn't get the coleslaw. First thing the manager said was she'll make sure that it doesn't happen again. Well...fine, but that's an underwhelming response. Was told then I could come back for it. Drive 10 minutes, 20 minutes total for coleslaw? I don't think so, especially since my lunch break was 10 minutes from being over. Was told I could come back tomorrow to get it. Why would I make a trip just to get a thing of coleslaw? I don't think so, that's ridiculous. One way to judge a company is how they handle their mistakes. This was a so-so way to do so. I should be compensated more, I think, for my trouble. It was payday, I thought I would treat myself. I spent $15 on my lunch there. I could have gotten a good lunch bento for that much. I guess this might have cured me from spending so much money there. Thinking of all the places I could have spent $15 for lunch now leaves me with severe buyers remorse. Fries were still outstanding, and of course the rootbeer is the best. The chicken tenders were alright, be sure to definitely get two sauces because one is not enough for 3 pieces. Though I liked the crunch they had, there was too much breading. The Coney dog was OK, but scant on the onions and would be better if all the cheese was on the dog and not in the container. Yeah, you may accuse me by saying that this is just a small deal...whatever. I think they lost a regular customer, though. That's just my experience. It still may be a wonderful place for you, though.5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money.4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business.3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it.2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money.1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

my family and I have been coming here since I was little so I'm very disappointed with this experienc. I came with my family to get the free root beer floats today and the minute we came in we got dirty looks from the workers and they lied straight to our faces about them serving the floats and said that another location was. I did research and found out that this location was giving them out so we questioned them and they said that their manager told them not to serve us. I'm absolutely appalled and disappointed because we brought the kids out for this outing. Very upsetting we are never returning to any A&W ever again.

To start, the food is not bad, but, it sucks when it's ice cold because you have to go back a second time because they didn't give you everything the first time...... I was told there was no manager on duty...who's in charge? I don't live close by so if I take the time to drive all that way, the order should be right. The guy who helped me the first time, Oscar they say, hid somewhere and sent someone else to help 2nd time. Cowered. Sitting off the freeway, I have to wonder how many travelers have been screwed over A&W was big years ago. Guess I know now why they're not anymore. I won't be going back here ever and I hope no one else makes the same mistake!
