I really wish I lived a lot closer. The cannoli is the absolute best in the City of Tucson. I've tried to reconstruct it but it was deconstructed when I was done. You are amazing. There's not a sandwich there that I wouldn't recommend. The service there is amazing if you go to the deli. The ambiance is just what I'm looking for when out of town guests visit.

Pretty darn delicious. I must say- and I don't mean this as bad bc it means care is given. The sandos take forever. I've been here 3x and it's a wait. Now granted, the first time they ran out of cucumbers so they had to run across the street. Yes they asked first if the wait was too long or do I want another sandwich. Regardless m, phenomenal product! I love this tiny deli & I will drive to support. It's very small to eat in, but wonderful comics on the walls.

Underwhelming. Dismissive staff. $22 for a sandwich. Flavor wasn't there, but the sandwich was well put together. The slaw tasted old.

First time here and I really loved the small, hole in the wall feel and the nostalgia with the old photos and small TV with the VCR. The menu is pretty extensive in my opinion but I just opted for the BLT with Miss Vickie Jalapeno chips w/a pickle. I always need something sweet so I got a canoli but I didn't like it the cream was a bit chalky imo.. The BLT wasn't anything to write home about but they've got other versions of it like the Cali BLT with avocado, etc. The young lady behind the counter was kind and the service was good, I'd return to try other menu items.

I had the Frank Nitti which was fantastic. Plenty of toppings, soft bread and a good sized sandwich. They only had two kinds of chips but don't know if that's always the case or not. No fountain drinks but plenty of canned sodas and AZ ice tea. A few tables inside and outside so it's a small space but the food is hard to beat for a quality sandwich downtown. Beats the two chain sandwich joints by a mile.

Got a Sundance Kid on a Sicilian Hoagie, and it was basically a garden of some of the freshest vegetables I've eaten in recent memory. The copious avocado and pesto perfectly lined the toasted bread, balancing the crunch of the veggies with softness and flavor. I'm still dreaming of that sandwich several days later.Service was friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to go back and try another sub, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quick, filling meal on 4th Ave.

The 4th Avenue Deli in downtown Tucson is a small "hole in the wall " place that offers traditional deli food. We had a pastrami sandwich and a meatball sub. Both were good, the meatballs were really good, nothing fancy but satisfying. The meals came with bags of chips and canned drinks. Not exactly fine dining but worth a visit.

Vegan options GALORE! Check out the special VEGAN MENU I uploaded of their veggie stuff, and the vegan yumminess we ordered (except for the pasta salad of course - that was meaty and cheesy and also very yum! 3 bean chili had awesome flavor. Great service, cute tiny/skinny building with a couple of seating options inside and outside. Very fair pricing, and overall chill energy.

I absolutely love the 4th ave deli. I recommend their Johnny Ringo and Bonnie and Clyde. Their cannoli's are second to none. Since I will be in the university area, I cannot wait to return and try more of your sandwiches.

We found this tiny spot via Yelp reviews and took a chance. So glad we did. The line was short and the staff was very helpful. Our sandwiches were delicious. We ordered the Meyer Lansky (a Reuben sandwich) and the Jack Dragna (a club sandwich) and both of us were happy campers! And the pickles! OMG. Would definitely return next time we visit Tucson.
