"I recently visited The Quesadillas for dinner and had a nice experience. I tried the Carne Asada Quesadilla and the Pollo Asado Quesadilla. The tortillas were soft and filled with gooey cheese and smokey tender carne asada and chicken. The side sauces were also flavorful. The food was delicious but not very filling (that's why I had to order two) and a bit steep in price at $8.50 per quesadilla."

"Tucker in a strip center this place will wow you with their scrumptious food and delicious drinks. Service was great and the place was very busy on a Saturday afternoon even the patio was packed. Salsa is great with plenty of flavor and nice hot chips. Tacos were loaded with tender meat and tamales were fantastic. Definitely a place to try."

"I ate the Buck out of this place, it's so Bucking good!!! It's definitely my new Buck Buddy...love it!I'm of the belief that you can make anything into a burrito...it's my favorite food group. Love so many things about this spot...the location, the storefront, outdoor seating only, smoky bbq smells, the burritos are phenomenal, the people are super friendly, everything! I went with the brisket, egg and cheese burrito and added refried beans to it. Loved every bite and was sad when it was gone. But I'll hit this again....but I'll probably wait a few days so I don't seem desperate. On a scale of 1 to 10, I love this place!"

"So there I was...sitting in a meeting and perusing through Yelp because all I could think about was food and I had dinner plans to figure out. I saw this place pop up that I book marked awhile back and decided tonight was the night. I gotta say....tonight was a good night :)This place has all the flare and is completely decked out from floor to ceiling with unique decor. The staff is uber friendly and amazing! There's inside and outside seating as well and plenty of it. I went with my fav: Bean & Cheese Burrito ($5) and added a Carna Asada Taco ($2)! The bean and cheese was huge and perfect and the taco was delicious! Good food and low cost? This place is a no brainer!! My friend got the breakfast burrito and loved it as well. Definitely a new favorite spot for the list. On a scale of 1 - 10, don't pass this place up! I'm definitely going back again soon!"

"Let's talk food - that's what we go out to dinner for, right? We ordered: Cadillac margaritas Quesabirria & Ramen soup Ouesabirria taco with caldo Street tacos - beer battered shrimp and Jass (asada, green chili & cheese) The food was AMAZING! Our margaritas on the rocks were perfect - with house made mix that's not too sweet or tart. I can't begin to say how good their Birria caldo & ramen soup were! I always think the Birria I'm eating is the best. Well, I was dead wrong because the Birria here is the best. My husband's Birria ramen soup was loaded with juicy beef Birria, consommé, and ramen noodles. My taco was stuffed with meat & cheese and came with a cup of consommé for dipping I also had two street tacos and the shrimp were huge! Our server was Martha and she was so friendly & attentive. We sat on the patio and it was a bit chilly outside, but we were under cover and it was pretty cozy. We come to Tucson every year and we will be back here. We were also very impressed with their breakfast menu which has a bunch of Mexican breakfast/brunch entrees that looked and sounded delicious. We'll be back!"

"Lots of parking, fast friendly service, good burritos.... There is no seating inside so expect to get your burritos to go. Place is clean and we were greeted when we walked in. The burritos are smaller and a lil cheaper than burritos you get at other fast food burrito places like Filiberto's, Los favoritos burritos, etc. They're not tiny but the perfect size for people like me and my kids who don't have huge appetites. Good variety of tacos as well as some sides of corn, quesadillas and beans n cheese. They also have a couple healthy wrap options (turkey and bacon with egg whites) which not sure why you would get a wrap at a burrito place. But I guess if you have a friend come along and they don't like burritos? Lols I got the mole - shredded chicken cooked in sweet & spicy chocolate adobado sauce. I love mole and this was pretty food. But I realized I prefer eating this with rice and eggs instead of in a tortilla. Flour tortilla was yummy and homemade. My kids had the bacon and hash burrito, ate it all up so they def liked it. I didn't get a bite, selfish kids! Jk"

"I recently grabbed a build-your-own bowl for lunch, and it was ready in no time. I went with cilantro white rice, mesquite salmon, black beans, and street corn--absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and well balanced.I also picked up a Corazón Cooler to go. While it was still tasty, it seemed noticeably smaller than the one I had when dining at the restaurant."

"Absolutely fantastic! It was as good as I had hoped! This charming little spot is only open for breakfast and lunch on limited days of the week. They have a breakfast menu, lunch menu, and daily chalkboard specials.I took a chance and tried the lunch surprise plate which comes with 3 lunch items selected by the kitchen. It's truly a surprise, and even if several people at the same table order the surprise plate, each plate would be different.My plate consisted of cochinito en chipotle, pollo en mole negro, and creamy harvest vegetable soup with serrano (one of the specials that day). You also get to pick a couple side dishes. I got the rice and the calabacitas (zucchini and veggie medley).My oh my, every single bite of food was absolutely fantastic. Perfectly seasoned, perfectly spiced, perfectly cooked, just PERFECT. Some of the tastiest Mexican food I've ever had, and so rustic and homey and well-priced. I loved the variety. I'm so pleased I got to try that wonderful soup too, which was a special but I would kill for the recipe! Both of the meats were so tender and saucy. I seriously can't say enough. It was SOOOOO SOOOOO good. If I lived in Tucson this would definitely become a regular spot for me.I also chatted briefly with the owner and she was so cheerful and incredible kind and helpful. "We came here because I had to drop off my car at a dealership close by.What an amazing experience, this place was awesome. The wait staff was great, the food was better. I felt like it took a long time to bring out our appetizer but at least the dinners didn't come out at the same time. So I was pleased.We will definitely be back!"

"Manuel's Mexican Restaurant is very clean, very cute, and very nice with a super friendly service. I like all the decorations on the wall. The wooden tables and chairs are beautiful. There's a gorgeous high ceiling skylight at the center of the restaurant. Food are freshly served, delicious, with generous portions and affordable. This is the locals' favorite place and I'm excited to recommend it to you!"

"Holy hidden gem that's been around for a while! I've driven past this restaurant a million times and never got around to trying it out. Welp, I made a conscious effort to have lunch here, and it did not disappoint. Service was great, everyone was really nice and even got my lunch delivered by a robot. I was so impressed that I forgot to take an actual photo of my two crispy chicken tacos with rice and beans. Boy, those were flavorful and crispy. Add some of the salsa and guacamole, and it really was top-notch! I also got their mango margarita blended, and that had some decent alcohol. I think next time, I'll take the plunge to get the mangoada, my ultimate favorite. Chips and salsa were really good too, but I have to call special attention to their ceviche...to die for!! Fresh and flavorful, decent chunks of white fish with citrus marinated to perfection. I'd come back just for this appetizer. Give yourself a great meal and come to this place!"

"What absolutely delicious gem of a restaurant! We stopped in for lunch today and got the quesabirria tacos and the chilaquiles with green sauce and carne asada. We shared, and both dishes were fantastic!The sauce on the chilaquiles was very rich and flavorful, standing up well against the eggs and carne asada. The quesabirria tacos were really excellent too -- and I say that as someone who's gotten quesabirria tacos at easily two dozen different restaurants in Tucson. The tortillas were really strong, and had crisped up nicely along the edges. The birria and consommé were both packed with flavor! I savored absolutely every bite. I was also impressed by the beans; I'm usually not a fan of refried beans in general, but these were really well-cooked and well-seasoned. I finished every bit! We sat outside, but I will also say I really liked the decor inside. The colorful paintings on the walls and bright blue and white tiles make for a really charmingly happy vibe!"

"Went with a party of nine family members. There was a pretty long wait between ordering and serving, then the wait staff brought the whole order at once. Grandkid's nachos were cold, as was my chile (more like chilly) rellano plate. Only the seafood plates came out hot. I guess they were the last to be ready. "Not your normal taqueria, because you can get exceptional battered fish tacos and quesabirria tacos!We took the food to go, and ate it about 15 minutes later. While the tacos were still delicious, it wasn't as crunchy as if we ate it there. Fish tacos were nicely battered, fresh and juicy! Husband gives it 5 stars. Quesabirria is the ultimate rich and heavy tacos, loaded with cheese and birria and onions, cilantro, and consume on the side.All around delicious food for good value! Fish tacos were $3.50 each and quesabirria, a little pieces but very filling, for $5.25.Husband says this is the best thing he ate during our long weekend in Tucson!"

"I decided to try this place after work. I was STARVING!! The place was getting packed! I ordered ceviche appetizer (fish) for an appetizer. The guy informed me of the type of fish it was (don't remember the name). It was a flaky fish. Let's just say I'll order the shrimp next time lol. It wasn't bad, it didn't taste fishy at all, but I'd be more subtle with the shrimp next time. I inhaled it all. I forgot to take a picture of my main plate. I ordered 3 enchiladas (beef, shredded beef, chicken) with rice and beans. The shredded beef was pretty darn good! My food was really good! I inhaled that also. I wanted to get a desert but I was overly stuffed. I had to sit in the parking lot for a while and let the food settle. I will definitely come back and try more off their menu. And the Horcjhata was bomb!!"

"This is an adorable little spot in Downtown Mesa to enjoy authentic Mexican food! We stopped by Mango's around 2 p.m. on a weekday after hiking all morning, and found this was the ideal way to refuel after a trek through the Superstitions. You order at the counter inside the restaurant, and then choose your table either inside or outside. The decor is colorful and fun - and we ended up sitting on the patio to enjoy some Arizona sunshine. My husband and I each ordered the Killer Burrito with shredded chicken, which was packed full of flavor and served in a handmade tortilla. We also split an order of the perfectly crispy chips, and delightfully fresh salsa and guac. Mango's is also known for its rotating selection of Agua Frescas, so we sipped on a few of those alongside our meal. The limeade was my favorite -- not too sweet, not too tart. I absolutely recommend Mango's to anyone looking for a taste of classic Mexican cuisine. We'll be back the next time we're in town!"

"This place surprised me. I was skeptical based on the reviews but really enjoyed lunch here today. Even though it was hot outside, the patio was perfect with the fans and misters. There were a few TVs out there too with the games on. I had the Baja bowl and was impressed with the portion size. I couldn't eat it all and I left stuffed. They did not skimp on the chicken which I really appreciated. The chicken could've used a tad more seasoning and was on the verge of being dry but overall I really enjoyed my meal. The cilantro and pink onions really made the dish. Service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush and enjoyed the ambiance."

Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. We were the last guests before closing time, yet we were not rushed and received all the attention we needed.Food and drinks:The food was one of the tastiest Mexican style seafoods we have tried so far! Great combination of flavours and fresh ingredients. The seasoning was the hero. Great balance of spices and citrus notes. You must try their ceviche and hot molcajete! Simply delicious.As for the drinks, they offer set cocktails menu but you can opt for a beer too.Pricing:As usual, seafood prices are on a higher end, however, the quality of dishes at this restaurant justifies the price tags."

"Stopped by this restaurant for a quick bite and we left fat and happy. No issues with the service and the lady taking orders was friendly and welcoming. Our food also came out fast and was piping hot! The food was pretty good although the asada was sort of fatty but nonetheless, it was good! The prices are average and the atmosphere of the restaurant is that of a typical taqueria. One thumb and one big toe up for this place! We'll definitely be back. Happy eating, my foodies!"

"Maskadores is still our local taco shop and we always bring our family and friends who are visiting as well. The food is always consistent and we really enjoy their tinga chicken and al pastor. I love how you can pick your own toppings and they are very generous; the tacos are always stacked. They updated their location and are still working on some renovations, overall the expansion looks really nice. Staff is always friendly and super fast even with long lines. Their churros are fantastic and always a must with your meal."

"I love this place so much that Tacos Apson was the location of our Valentine's Day dinner! Tacos Apson has improved the outdoor dining experience by enclosing it in a nice, heavy duty plastic enclosure with a split curtain entrance which means any fly problem has been drastically decreased.I know the prices are a little high for a taqueria but they do not skimp on loading their tacos or burritos. You can't beat the taste of the food at Tacos Apson!"

"Honestly Gentle Ben's surprised me. Great pregame and post game spot! We got a resy for 15 online a few days before the ASU UofA game and got in with no issues. The food was also good give. How busy they were! Potato skins were fire. Guac was mostly one big avo chunk lol but it was still good. If you wanna get ROWDY-- order a round of Ben's bombs!!! TOO FUN!!!"

"I used to live in tucson and every time I make it back to town I have to stop in this heart warming spot. In the end of a strip mall it's brightly decorated inside and service is always friendly. The salsa has a medium level of spiciness and a ton of garlic. The beans are to die for so do not neglect getting those!"

"Love being able to order through Uber Eats when I have a WFH day. The potato breakfast burrito is amazing paired with their guacamole, salsa, and grilled jalapeños. The food has been fresh, hot, and delicious the few times I've ordered through Uber Eats. One day, I want to try their vegetarian burrito but always seem to get a breakfast burrito as it's so good!"
