Friendly service, yummy food, ample amount of indoor/outdoor seating.We sat at the bar (there was a 10 minute wait for a table) which was perfect. The bartender/server Uzbek was attentive, helpful and friendly. We put in our orders fairly quick, but they did take a while to come out- id say 20-30 min. Both dishes were yummy, except for my biscuits - they felt overdone and hard, not that edible. The coffee was good and so was the OJ. *on a Sunday, they were pretty slow until about 10:30 - that's when we saw a line start to form :) Enjoy!

Came here with friends while visiting their condo. We had an omelet and scrambled eggs and it's interesting how they charge a little for everything over and above the basic price, but generally only $1.00 for adding spinach or tomatoes or chili but add $2 for egg whites only.JB was a good server and was available as needed and it's a nice place for breakfast for lunch.

While the servers are all friendly the service is a little slow. The food was good but not great. My wife got a poached egg that was solid so overcooked. I had the huevos rancheros and the ranchero sauce was mainly just chunky tomatoes. My son had a breakfast burrito that he enjoyed. .

The worst service I have ever had. Restaurant was half full but we waited 30 minutes to get a table. Was sat down, waited 20 minutes for my drink order and an hour after that the food had not arrived. Didn't see my server after he left the drinks.

Was sat down immediately, menu and ambience looked amazing but unfortunately could not try any of the food. Sat outside and never got a server even after waiting for more than 30 minutes. There were three tables around us that were attended to and constantly getting checked in on yet we seemed to be being ignored. Never asked if we wanted to order even a drink let alone anything on the menu. Decided we didn't want to waste our time anymore and simply walked away disappointed.

Cute little cafe right by the beach and lots of outdoor and indoor seating. We only waited about 15 minutes to get seated outside (no wait for inside) and ordered a caramel iced coffee, OJ, and Bloody Mary to drink while we waited for the food to come out. Service was very sweet and all the food we saw coming out, especially the sandwiches and French toast, looked SO GOOD and also huge! I got their seasonal special carnitas benny which was packed full of flavor and my friend got a more traditional breakfast with the fluffiest pancakes. Prices were also not bad for a restaurant by the water. So happy to have found a great brunch spot next time I'm in Solana beach.

I have been here twice and both were not great experiences. It is your average diner but the first time our party waited 1.5 hours for the food and we chalked it up to it happens and we did not write them off. The second time to start the new year we waited 1.5 ours AGAIN for our food. The food was not cooked well, the service was very rude, they had bad excuses. They had said they had a reservation of 20 that was being focused on which is not the best thing to say to a table of 8 waiting for their food. They were out of potatoes and for a breakfast place that is not a great look.

Read some of the reviews before going. Almost didn't go because of the remarks on slow service and long wait getting food. Definitely not our experience. It was crowded and we still got great service and food within a good time. Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. The Bloody Mary was really good and our food was delicious. Eggs Benedict for me, chicken salad for my daughter. And because I have to...an order of biscuits and gravy to try. It did not disappoint. A huge helping and so good. We recommend TJ's and I'll be taking my husband soon!
