Gosh the wait is crazy, even for middle of the week Wednesday (granted it was summer and also a holiday). The amount of tables vs the amount of wait staff was not enough, some of the food we received was lukewarm at best. Still not as good as some dimsum places in downtown Seattle, but a good option if you're nearby. One notable thing is their crispy dough wrapped with rice rolls, this was done so well! The inside stayed crispy and the rice roll is super silky. The price point for this particular dish was good as well. Don't think I'll be back any time soon, their pork and shrimp dumpling was disappointing, not much distinct flavors, just tasted like pork.

I went for a party. I asked the waitress for vegetarian options, and the only thing on the entire menu was the spring rolls. I understand this is traditional Chinese, but one or two vegetarian items would be nice. The server was nice and apologetic about it, and they were honest and upfront, which was appreciated.

With few Cantonese options on the Eastside, my family has been venturing to Triumph Valley for dim sum (which is what they're known for) and dinner. Dim sum is extremely popular on the weekends, and so make sure to get there right before opening (they open at 11am) to avoid having to wait in the long line that forms out the door. Dinner is less popular though and so it's much easier to grab a seat. The GOOD:- SHRIMP DUMPLINGS (HAR GOW) - of the dim sum dishes we've had, these are the BEST! They come in a set of 4 and are large, plump, and juicy.- GOLDEN CUSTARD BUNS - these buns are super fluffy on the outside and hot and gooey on the inside. Don't bother trying to cut these in half because the filling will squirt out.- SALTED EGG YOLK MOCHI - these are basically the mochi form of golden custard buns. The mochi is nice and crunchy on the outside and soft in the inside and the custard filling is hot and just a tad sweet. Definitely worth a try!- FRIED TARO CAKES - these cakes are like radish cakes, except they have a crispy sesame outside and some Chinese sausage mixed into the taro, giving the dish extra savory and umami notes. - GARLIC PEAVINE - the leaves are super tender and cooked with lots of garlic. No complaints here, except they might not always have it available. The OKAY:- STEAMED BBQ PORK BUNS - while the outside was nice and fluffy, the inside filling was too sweet-BUDDHA'S DELIGHT- this vegetarian dish has lotus root, tofu, celery, onions, zucchini, carrots, black mushrooms, and wood ear mushrooms tossed in a pink fermented bean sauce. This dish was decent overall, but could have a stronger fermented bean flavor.-XO RICE ROLLS - this dish has been a hit or miss. The first time we went, it had lots of XO flavor (which is basically dried scallop). This last time we went, the flavor was lacking.-XO FRIED RICE- similar to the rice rolls, this dish didn't have a lot of XO flavor. It also didn't have any protein other than egg white. The EH: - SEAFOOD AND TOFU HOT POT - we are big fans of seafood hotpot, but unfortunately, there wasn't much seafood to be had. The broth/slurry was also bland- OYSTER AND PORK HOT POT - again, as big fans of seafood, we were looking forward to fresh oyster stew. However, the oysters were chewy like firm tofu- I'm pretty sure they were dried originally and rehydrated in the stew which was disappointing. The dish also lacked pork belly.- BLACK PEPPER BEEF VERMICELLI - this dish looked interesting and wasn't like anything we've ever had before. It's basically a huge pan of crispy vermicelli folded over beef, peppers, onions, and bean sprouts. While we liked the crispy noodles, the dish itself was quite tasteless.Service is decent and the waiters try to be attentive as possible, but with such a large restaurant, you may need to be patient during dim sum hours.Triumph Valley has an EXCELLENT health rating which is the highest health rating possible. Their tables, floors, and restrooms are clean.Would definitely recommend this place for large parties as they have extensive seating.Overall: 3.5/5 for food, 4/5 for service, 5/5 for atmosphere

We came here as a party of four on Saturday, and waited about 20 minutes for a table. We enjoyed our time here-it was comfortable and our dishes were excellent. We wish we could make reservations and also provide black vinegar bottles for their tables!

Triumph Valley is my new favorite dim-sum place. I am VERY impressed with the food and options the offer. I love shrimp everything so I ordered every dumpling with shrimp in it. TV does not disappoint. The dumpling dough is super thin and translucent. The ingredients are so fresh and flavorful. The Hong Kong style duck was FANTASTIC! Hands down my favorite duck ever. The service quick and prompt. I love this place. I'll be back again and again!

There was a pretty long wait when my cousin and I came, probably close to an hour wait. We came for dim sum, and my cousin liked it, but I felt like I've had better. It wasn't anything great to me. And service was slow that day. It took a while for anyone to comd by after we've gotten our food. Maybe it was an off day. Their menu sounds tasty; maybe I'll give it another chance.

Came here right when they open. There was already a line. After we got seated, I noticed the iPad right away and ordered. We got our sticky rice pretty quickly but it took over 1/2 hr to get the rest. I had to ring for help. That is unacceptable for customers to wait that long. The food was okay but nothing too special. We had the salty egg mochi and it was ok. I didn't like the so-called crunchy exterior. It was more hard than crunchy. I wouldn't order that again - in fact, I would probably not come back.

Updating my review as they have implemented so many changes and I've finally curated my order down to my favorite dishes. Pro tip: if you come here on a weekend, try to get here before they open as food will take a while to come out and even longer when you're on the waitlist. I LOVE the radish cakes here. It is definitely fried with less dough and more radish creating the perfect ratio. The chicken feet is my favorite, so well seasoned and delicious. Don't pass on the shrimp rice rolls, they're so much better than the ones with the Chinese doughnuts in them. The eggplant with shrimp is another must as well. We also ordered the fish fillet plate the last time we were here and it's seriously so underrated and I would highly recommend. Ordering has been easier with their tablets so you never have to hunt a waiter down.

Decent dim sum for the Seattle area and by far the best on the South side! Waited an hour and half for dim sum at noon on Sunday, but wasn't too bothered by the wait after finally getting my food. The dumplings were huge! Never seen such big ha gao before. The Lo mai gai was okay and skip the Chung fun. The rice rolls were too sticky, thick, and not smooth/silken at all. Overall great for the price, will for sure be back.

If you're going for dim sum on the weekends, you better get there early or expect to wait a long time! But a great option if you don't want to drive to international district. The food is great, although sometimes it does take a while to come out after youve ordered. We've experienced this during dim sum as well as for dinner.
