Din sum all the way. They also have lunch plates if you flip over the menu. They bring your orders on carts, but don't wheel around carts with premade dim sum. You order by checking off what you want on the menu. S, m, lg, xlg. As they deliver they check it off. The dim sum arrived hot and fresh. We also ordered hand pulled noodles from the lunch menu and for $3 more we added American broccoli to the dish, unfortunately the dish arrived lukewarm and the broccoli was cool. It was still good and a healthy serving.I highly recommend this restaurant. We arrived at around 1pm on a Friday and people continued to arrive all thru lunch. The food was very tasty and the portions were a good size. The food was very fresh. They only use the bamboo steamers once, so no worries about hygienic. The toilets have seat coverings and there is a foot pull to open the door so you don't have to touch the door after washing your hands. You walk into the restaurant on the ground floor and walk up to the seating area as you pass the fountain. All seating is upstairs and if you time it right you can get a bay window seat.

I was in town for a Cubs vs Sox game and one of my friends decided to take me to Chinatown. Out of all the times I've been in Chicago, this was the first time I've ever been to their Chinatown.Stir fry e fu noodles -3.5/5 I asked it not to be cooked in a lot of soy sauce and that's what I got. Noodles were firm, hot and cooked right. I tried using chopsticks but had ask for a fork... I wanted to eat lolGinger drink 2.5/5 nothing to right home about . A little to sweet for me as I prefer my ginger to be more bitter and spicy than sugary. Though ,I can see this working for some people who like sugary ginger drinks

My family and I were lucky. We were waiting for about 10 minutes before we got to the table. The restaurant was cleaned and organized. It was so crowded. We were heading for dim sum. The foods were delicious and tasty. We will definitely come back in the future when we are in town.

Went there really late one night, I didn't know they were closing, the waiter told it was 2 mins before the kitchen closed. I told them not to worry about it, but he was like No, No, No it's fine, just hurry and chose what you want, we won't have a cook here in a couple mins. We just chose a few dim sum place and OMG everything was good!!! We got soup dumplings, one of the tripe dishes, su mai, bbq pork bun, fried dumplings...all good! Thanks for taking us even though you were closing.

Oofda. I don't even know where to start. I heard this place was popular and it seemed nice. I should've known better when I saw the crab and lobster hanging out by the bathroom. I ordered chow mein beef, and either they did it wrong here or they did it wrong at every other place I've been to. They said the noodles were supposed to be crunchy. They taste like they had been sat out and warmed up for 5 seconds in the microwave and then doused in sauce to cover up the pathetic attempt to resale them. Even looking at them before the got to me, I knew they were dry. I had to give it back because it was so stale and I got beef lo mein and I could taste the water it was cooked in. Not a fan Instead of ranting in each item, I'm just going to list them from worstEST to Ok. -Chow mein Fried minced chicken dumping(tasted like seafood..)Chicken egg rolls(they weren't bad, but I've never seen them like this before so it was just an internal adjustment and acceptance for me)Mongolian beefI can't with this review. I'm not going to lie. I didn't like the restaurant. Maybe I don't know what real Chinese food is and have a horrible misconception, but I didn't like anything here.

Also had the Mongolian Beef. The MB entree had more onions than beef. No pot stickers in the menu which most Chinese restaurants offer. Service was great...continuous refills of my drink (water). Will have to experience other entree items. The crab rangoon and chicken fried rice were good.

Food here is pretty good and the portion size is very generous. Get the steamed beef balls, it's mixed with water chestnuts which provided sweetness and much welcomed crispness. The fish congee has very nice texture and the fish filets tasted very fresh. My other favorite was the stir fried glass rice noodles with shrimp and ham, oh so tasty! Service is attentive, they will get you anything you want. Except shades for the window! I was getting sunburned and blinded from the window seat! For some reason they newer not sitting people towards the middle of the restaurant.....

Stopped by Triple Crown as it looked to be one of the better dimsum restaurants in Chinatown Chicago. It was very interesting to compare other dimsum restaurants to what I'm used to growing up near NYC. It was strange to see a lack of dimsum carts pushing food around as I'm used to the loud atmosphere and old dimsum ladies everywhere as this seemed like a made-to-order style restaurant. They also did not ask what type of tea we would like. Choosing our type of tea is something we're used to in NJ/NYC.We ordered around 8 or so dimsum dishes and everything came out hot and tasty. We had a couple orders with rice rolls that could have been steamed a little longer but everything came out hot and fresh with no complaints. I still prefer dimsum in the Northeast better, but this certainly hits the spot!
