Heads up dog owners... dogs are only allowed on sidewalk patio not on back patio or inside. I had googled this place before trivia night & saw something that said it's dog-friendly. It is not dog-friendly... it is dog barely tolerable. Immediately as I walked in I was told dogs couldn't be there by the bartender. Then another guy told me they don't want a bunch of dogs there (the sidewalk patio is tiny). So don't try to bring your dog for trivia or to meet friends on the back patio. If you don't like dogs, you'll love this place.

If you're in the mood for a laid-back, no-frills dive bar experience, Triple Crown Pub in Normal Heights is the place to be. I highly recommend this spot for its diverse selection of beers, foosball and pool tables, making it an ideal destination to unwind after a long day at work.Returning to Triple Crown after the pandemic era, my close friends and I revived our beloved tradition, "Bro's, Beers, and Burritos". The night wouldn't start anywhere else, as the pub's atmosphere sets the perfect tone for our gatherings. With a super chill and come-as-you-are vibe, there's no room for pretentiousness here - just genuine camaraderie and good times. The eclectic mix of people is a testament to the inclusive nature of this joint - you'll encounter all walks of life, and everyone's welcome. But the cherry on top of the experience has to be the digital jukebox. I'm always eager to drop a generous $20 into it, curating a playlist that takes us on a journey down memory lane while we enjoy our cold beers.Triple Crown Pub is a must do in the Normal Heights neighborhood, making every visit an enjoyable one. So, if you're seeking a place to unwind, enjoy great beers, and have a blast with friends, look no further than this beloved dive bar. Cheers!

My favorite little neighborhood dive to play pool. Here's what you can expect from TCP:1- 3 pool tables (so you never have to wait long to play)2 - Lots of other games, including ping pong, darts, shuffleboard, ski ball, and more2- Beer and wine only (but a great selection of both) 3 - Friendly crowd4 - No AC (but fans everywhere that keep a solid breeze going)

Great spot for bar sports and drinking. Only downside, no shots shots shots!!! They got pool, shuffle board, pong, basketball arcade. A large outdoor area to mingle about and a snazzy jukebox!!

I love this pub, the pub with the most games on Adams. They have ping pong, darts, shuffle board, foosball, and billiards. They even have ski ball, basketball toss and pinball machines! They have a big back patio area which is a plus. Just remember this is a beer bar so dont stroll in and asking for a white wine spritzer or whatever... Stay thirsty guys!

Adult Dave and Busters. Beer seltzers and wine only. No hard liquor which is bad and good. 3 pool tables, pop a shot basketball, skeeball, ping pong and darts. Good times and never too busy Sunday thru Thursday. Fri Sat can get crowded. Swing by if you are near Adams and the 805.

Bad vibes. Came here for a friend's birthday during a bar crawl with 13 people and a couple wanted to play pool and foosball. We ordered 10 drinks and the dude wouldnt let us get a ball to play foosball because they kept saying we needed to order to play. Sir?? We have TEN BEERS LMAOO. But they gave the other people 30 mins after us the ball easily and told us to leave the table next to it to make room for them to play. Overall they werent welcoming at all and we wish we couldve just left but there were 10 beers to finish. Big yikes and dont recommend ¯\_(ツ)_/¯edit: this just in! My friends paid $10 for water!!! :)))

This owner needs to retire. I live blocks away and just discovered this bar and the owner is the only reason I'm hesitant to ever come back. I've been looking for a neighborhood bar with ping pong for years and this is the only one but holy hell along with being wasted on the job the owner will treat you like shit and close over an hour early. Leave it to the younger generation who wants to actually make money to keep this place afloat. I hope my tips went to the other staff members cause this dude is the reason this bar is a hole in the wall. Great place to have fun and play all the bar games a bar can offer but I hope he stops working and he reads this cause damn man you are a horrible person. You clearly have nobody in your life who cares about you and I don't blame them. If this place didn't have pool, darts and ping pong it would have been closed down years ago.
