Food: The best thing on the menu is the sunrise breakfast burrito. You cannot beat it, seriously. It's packed with flavor. The other food is a bit questionable, bland. Prices: the prices are great, especially considering the location. Nice views next to it.Location: the actual location of the restaurant is no good. It's super tiny, and a bit hard to find. The location vicinity is good because it's right on the seaport next to the water. There's not really seating inside. It's a grab and go kind of place. Service: The workers work hard, and are very pleasant. No complaints there.

With local places like Trio there is no need to patronize multinational corporations like Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. Friendly customer service and very reasonable prices! Limited menu serving breakfast and lunch only, but its a very simple, very interesting spot to grab a breakfast sandwich or a bite for lunch. And you are IN the fish market complex and right on Boston Harbor which is so fun. #SceneryIncluded :)

Went to pick up a sandwich while at attending a conference. Wanted a cranberry walnut chicken salad but was informed they did not have any chicken salad so I quickly decided on a turkey club (ciabatta, turkey, bacon, lettuce, tomato). I took my sandwich back to my next conference session. When I opened it was disappointed to find no bacon and mayo only on one side of bread. So I ended up with a turkey sandwich but turkey was flavorless and veggies could have benefitted from some salt and pepper. Overall just an average sandwich.

The staff is very friendly & warm. For such a small space they offer a wide variety of hot & cold sandwiches. They also have a nice looking selection of baked goods, like cake slices, muffins & brownies. Sometimes they do big pizza slices for a special which are always very delicious & a great value, only $3 for a big square slice.

At an event at the Exchange Conference Center, and for two weekdays in a row tried to get lunch here during their open hours - door locked both days but workers inside. Don't even try this place.

Ordering catering from Trio Cafe was a lackluster experience. The food arrived 20 minutes late and the yogurt parfaits were apparently prepared the night before - the granola was soggy and sour from the plain yogurt and was, overall, not worth choking down for breakfast. The coffee and the assorted pastries were fine. If you stick with bagels, muffins, and pastries for a morning order you'll be fine.

We stayed at the Seaport Hotel for our anniversary last weekend and got a deal (I think restaurant.com) for the place. Checked out yelp reviews, the 2 were good so we decided to get the deal and check it out. Less than 5min walk to the pier, this place is almost all the way at the end. SUUUUPER SMALL. Like I knew it was small but figured there was a table or two. Nope. But that's okay (just adding that for anyone else who checks out this review before going, you really won't find a place to sit). We ordered 2 sandwiches each, one for breakfast and one to save for lunch. My husband got the breakfast burrito and he basically fell in love with it. I forgot what he ordered for lunch though.... But he loved it as well (roast beef? I think) I just a normal sausage egg and cheese for breakfast. That sausage was incredible. I don't know what they use but I would gladly eat it all the time. My lunch sandwich was the chicken tender club. I never got to eat it cuz we tried other places but my husband did and again, a strong choice. Good prices, filling meals. Would definitely go again.
