The vibe was SO CALM AND THE STAFF WAS HELPFUL. I love the esthetics and how accommodating the barista was to my friend and I. They also have yummy snacks that are gluten free which I appreciate because I have GF allergies. Also Lauren & Johan were the best and helped us order our coffees. SO to Lauren for also helping a girl out best coffee in San Diego 11/11

I don't expect too many to relate, but it's rare for me to give a coffee shop with Toroni syrup 5 stars. I'm not much of a fan of that brand, and it makes so many local coffee shops taste the same. Usually I walk right out when I see it, but this location is so perfect I've visited a few times. Since the syrup brand they use is my only complaint, we'll just round up. Again, this location is absolutely perfect for grabbing a cup before you wait in line for brunch across the street or to take with you for a beach walk. Parking is a pain, but if you're in PB, you probably didn't make the trip just for this coffee shop. They have a lot of functional lattes, which are great (and a way to get flavor without Torani). I really enjoy their cold brew, which is another reason I struggle to give them anything less than 5 stars. It doesn't make me jittery like some other cold brews I've tried. I'm mentally saving their instant cold brew as a good option for Christmas gifts.

I really wanted to like this place, so I'm bummed to be writing this. Their cafe is beautifully decorated, with lots of different seatings, reliable internet and outlets, panoramic windows with lots of natural light, clean bathroom... everything is perfect, but the drinks...I've gone here twice to give it a try and got their Vietnamese Midnight Latte and Cold Brew (I forgot the name). Drinks are pricy but don't have much flavor and is diluted (I'm sorry!!!). Especially for the Vietnamese Midnight Latte, I couldn't taste any Vietnamese coffee. As a Vietnamese, I'm not sure why this drink is named this way, especially since Viets wouldn't drink charcoal (I asked my mom, she also confirmed in opinion).I trust that the owner is getting lots of feedback on their drinks, and I hope they continue to seek out more to continuously improve.

I really like Trident Coffee. I was first introduced to them in Imperial Beach, and they were great then and are even better now, in my opinion. I had a cortado and a protein coffee cake doughnut. The cortado was well made. It was smooth and had great flavor. The protein coffee cake doughnut, too, was very good. I liked the crumble on top and the texture of the doughnut. It was keto friendly and gluten-free. This location offers a good amount of seating, but not outside. They have free Wi-Fi and sell plenty of roasted coffee to go, including instant cold brew coffee. The service was super friendly.

I have seen this spot before and finally decided to check it out!The space inside is very aesthetic and nice with plenty of tables and some seatingI ordered the cold brew with blueberry cobbler cold foam which is just blueberry syrup and vanilla cold foam over their original cold brew, the cashier and barista was super helpful as I was a little confused on how to order and very kind in helping me!Not my favorite in terms of flavor? The coffee itself was delicious and really shined but there was no blueberry flavor from what I could tell, I still enjoyed the drink but was looking forward to the blueberry flavor

This is one of the newer locations and is the 3rd location in San Diego - the other two are located in Coronado and Imperial Beach. This one is conveniently located a block from the Pacific Beach, perfect for a date or hangout to grab a coffee and walk along the beach and boardwalk. I got the Mexican Mocha which was not too sweet but did not taste watered down since there are evident notes of chocolate, cinnamon, and nutmeg in it. I got the 16oz which was about $7.09 which seems pricey but the quality is very high and there's no ice at all. Good value to have pure liquid filled to the top, but since it's hot, temperatures equalize quickly with the surroundings but that's something beyond the barista's control. I really enjoyed the coffee overall. If I come back, I definitely want to try their nitro cold brew flight for a nice variety. We were just in a rush so we decided to just get a regular drink, as the flight is most ideal if you dine in.

Wanted to check this spot out to see if it would be good to work from. It's on the smaller side but has enough seating and is quiet. Ordered a cappuccino and was given it in a disposable cup. I tried to get started working but not wifi kept going out. I even tried moving until I gave up. Not a great place to work from. I would come here due to its convenient location but other than that not any different from all other overpriced San Diego cafes.

Incredible addition to PB! The best cold brew and an amazing selection of functional coffee drinks as well. Lauren and Grace are so welcoming and knowledgable on the coffee. Will be back soon!!
