Great place to grab breakfast when staying at Langham or any hotel near by! The scrambled eggs were cooked so creamy and delicious! The avocado toast was tasty and overall great way to start the morning! They also have a semi-private meeting space large enough to sit 6 comfortable and 8 full! Held a coffee meeting in this area and had a wonderful time! But be aware that peak breakfast and lunch time it can get pretty crowded and noisy

We came for cocktails and discovered the Travelle lounge is the perfect respite from a day in the city. The lounge area is a beautiful mid-century modern design with large windows overlooking the river. It truly felt like we were catching up in a sophisticated friend's living room. The drinks were well prepared and delicious! The service was friendly, fast, and spot on as one would expect from The Langham.

I'd been craving chilaquiles for a hot minute! When I saw I could get some near my hotel, the decision may as well have been set in stone! Before I get into the nitty-gritty of the meal, I need to insert a disclaimer: When friends ask me if I have considered becoming a professional critic, I don't think it would be a good move. One of the main reasons is I don't have the culinary knowledge to not make myself look like a fool. However, this is Yelp - while I take my reviews (and their integrity) seriously, I'm just having a laugh. I say all this because while I tried to understand what 'real' chilaquiles are like, I could be way off. Anyways, back on track! I must start with the coffee, though. When requested with cream and sugar, the sugar was brought in a container with lumps of brown sugar. I can't say if it was simply black coffee with brown sugar or some top-tier ingredients, but I got halfway through the mug before realizing I forgot to add cream! Out of left field, and amazing! Then, of course, there are the chilaquiles. The chips were fresh and tasty, meanwhile, the sauce (salsa) was pleasant, in the perfect amount, and not overdone. I liked what they did with the veggies! The peppers added some heat, the onions had some bite and freshness, and the radish was crisp and had some extra color! Now, while there was some cotija cheese and sour cream, the amounts were too small. If I were to point out something they were lacking it is a proper amount of dairy to tie everything together. Regarding the avocado, I liked the seasoning they used on top, and that it was off to the side to be added to one's heart's content. No notes regarding the egg, only to say I also appreciate it being off to the side so one could decide how to integrate it with everything else. I, for one, placed it on top and allowed the yolk to run through the chips. Finally, the service here was fantastic. It was quick, very professional, and attentive. Thus, while the chilaquiles may have been a little shy of perfection, there is no denying that they were magnificent, well executed, and got the job done of satisfying my weeks-long craving for this dish.

This review is based on after brunch drinks at the bar. The Queen took me to Mother's Day brunch at The Tortoise Supper Club (The Doctor was out of town on business). Since it was such a lovely day, and we had parking nearby on Spot Hero, we decided to go here to have a drink, The bar and restaurant are located on the second floor of the hotel. It is a beautiful space with a lovely view of the city.We ordered a bottle of prosecco, which was not too bad considering we were downtown. The bartender was nice, attentive but not intrusive, as we were having a great conversation.Because it was Mother's Day, Travelle was offering a brunch buffet. Not sure how much it was, but from what I could see from our seat, it looked amazing. There was a raw seafood section and I saw very large crab legs that were already cracked so a simply pull would get the meat out....that is a win for me. There were numerous appetizers with smoked salmon that looked amazing as well and they have several toasters set up for the different breads and bagels. Based on what I saw, I would totally do a buffet here. One thing to note....there were tables being served off the regular menu, which was odd for me (not in a bad way). Usually we places do buffet brunches, they don't give you the option of ordering from the regular menu. That was nice to see.I would love to come here to explore the food, but just having drinks and taking in the view was lovely too.

Located inside the Langham hotel, Travelle at the Langham is perfect lounge space for a small get together or a date night. My girlfriend and I visited the lounge this past weekend after a Juneteenth celebration. Our family & friends had a great time here. All of the bites we ordered were delicious. I recommend getting the sliders, skeleton key cocktail, calamari and the shrimp pasta. The waiters are very attentive and we appreciated that. We're looking forward to spending more time at the lounge soon.

So my review is for their mothers day brunch but it was amazing!! Had an amazing time once I could actually get a reservation. Tried calling at least you 10 times with no avail. Then had to email to actually get a reservation to only have problems with it when I arrived. After the reservation debacle everything was amazing! Food was on point and service even better. I have been to 2 "oyster places" and the oysters were terrible with leftover shells and worse so my expectations for a buffet oyster was low but they were amazing once I got their paloma sauce and no shells in sight. The raw tuna was also phenomenal as well as their lobster roll stuffing. As this was a buffet I lowered my expectations but they met or exceeded my expectations for a regular fancy meal. Loved everything except the french toast. Also phil (spelling assumption) was our busser and he went above and beyond to make our dining experience more than amazing!

Travelle Restaurant at the Langham is a true diamond of a hidden gem! It's inside the AMA (American Medical Association) building on the Langham Hotel side. It's never busy and I still can't figure that one out because the food, ambience and service is always 10 stars! It's beautifully decorated inside and one of the best top drawer lesser known dining places in Chicago. Service is impeccable, pristinely clean and menu choices are an epicureans' delight! We had the Gem Salad with carved roasted chicken. Meals here never disappoints us! The tantalizing champagne dressing creation was actually a jelly in the salad that when served, slowly dissolves into the salad which gives a unique and wonderful flavor without the greens wilting! Delicious fresh blackberries coupled with candied walnuts gave a nice tart and sweet balance to the salad. A beautiful creation. I truly enjoy coming here for a quiet meal time away from the noise whenever I get in the city. The menu changes periodically and always has unique and delicious creations.

We enjoyed a few bottles of bubbles and some lovely appetizers for the table to share. Everything was very good! They do have soup, sandwiches and salad for those who want more of a meal. More lounge setting with great views of the lake and city!

My friend wanted to have a desert late Friday night and that's when we decided to go to Travelle at the Langham. This is a very fancy restaurant and bar which is part of The Langham and located in the AMA building. We ordered fries with parmesan on the side, a glass of Chardonnay and Grandma's chocolate cake. The cake was pure decadence, it was dark chocolate and had a scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can see the mesmerizing river and Chicago skyline views from almost every corner of this restaurant which makes it a good experience! I definitely recommend this place for good food and drinks!
