Trattoria Il Mulino

Lovely dinner near the vibrant Broadway! Classic Italian restaurant with vast wine menu and lovely bread tray to start. We loved the thin crust pizza and pasta dishes. Dessert options were plentiful as well. Service friendly, polite and restaurant roomy. They also have a private room if your group requires one!

9/27 and 9/28- I was hardcore reading the reviews of this restaurant. Our uber driver highly recommended this restaurant to us. Based on the reviews, I was ify on what to expect. ABSOLUTELY loved this place and the waiters we had. I dream about the watermelon salad (legit went back the next night for it). Service was quick.

I have to mention about the customer service in this place again.. it's just exemplary. They made the bachelorette dinner of my friend very special. Personalized a card for us and dessert. The food is also really good, and the drinks. I had the old fashioned. Bruschetta pizza was amazing, thin juicy crust. Fettuccini and ravioli pasta with vodka pink sauce was amazing. The limoncello tiramisu was not our style, but they were gracious enough to remove it from our bill. Beautiful ambiance also.

We got a reservation here for my cousins bachelorette party's big dinner and the service couldn't have been better. We were sat in a large room separate from the rest of the restaurant and given a private feel! I ordered the gin fizz that was on special and the fettuccine with the shrimp. The food was good but I wouldn't go back - not my kind of place! It's pretty expensive and everything seemed to be an add on price.

Hands down best linguine I had in a long time.So here it goes, while visiting from out of town and being asked by coworkers where to eat I came across Trattoria II Mulino while doing a search online and I'm glad that I found this hidden gem!!Location right in the heart of Nashville Downtown.Atmosphere: Basement restaurant from street level with plenty of seating and very modern decor.Food: My guess is they must make the best pasta in Tennessee if not on the entire east coast.Bread and olive oil were very tasty.The meatball appetizer was out of this world and was very delicious! My Linguine with clams was probably the best pasta dish I ever had besides outside of Italy. The pasta, the sauce with a special kick and the clams were just so delicious and mouthwatering. This restaurant was extremely good, and we ended up going there 3 times in a row for lunch while in town. Unfortunately, I didn't try their pizza or other items but each of my co-workers had nothing but good things to say about their food.I'm a fan and wish we had you guys here in Southern California!!!5 stars for delicious food and friendly service.Needless to say, I 'll be back.Enjoy and Bon Appétit.

I recently dined at an Trattoria II Mulino, and I must say, the service was exceptional. The staff was incredibly attentive, always ensuring our water glasses were topped up and eagerly asking if we needed anything else throughout the meal. Their dedication to customer satisfaction truly enhanced the dining experience.As for the food, it exceeded my expectations. The portions were generous, offering great value for the price. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, showcasing authentic Italian flavors and ingredients. Additionally, the drinks were outstanding. My perfectly crafted cocktail/ martini was amazing. Overall, I highly recommend this Italian restaurant for its impeccable service, delicious food, and exceptional drinks. It's a dining destination that truly delivers on every level. A must try!

We ate dinner here the other night with a reservation. We were seated immediately. It had a very cool, chill vibe.Pros: The food was fantastic! We got an array of starters and shared a pasta bowl. The white Pinot Grigio was delightful and fresh: the support staff was constantly rounding on us to fill our waters and check our needs. They were very friendly and responsive. Cons: they advertise vegan options but they only have one dish that my vegan friend could eat - and they put Parmesan on it (despite her asking to hold it). Our server was okay, but not very friendly or gracious when we had to send the dish back for a cheese free one. She also did not check on us very often, relying on the support staff to meet our needs. It was also a little pricey (but worth the expense). All in all, would eat here again! Everything was delicious!

So for an Italian restaurant, it was too much like a steak house. The food was fine but nothing that I would say was special The service was fine and as expected for the price. It looked like a steak house. We did not like that almost everything was Ala carte. Do you want pasta with your chicken, that's extraMy seafood pasta was fine but for the price. It had way too much octopus. It should have been filled with shrimp and musclesThe desert was unremarkable

Went here for my birthday dinner and let me tell you we will be back, the service was on point, and the food was delicious. We ordered the Lasagna and Goat Cheese Ravioli, 10/10 for sure! I would have loved to enjoy the wine but I'm pregnant so we'll be back in 6 months lol.

I connected with the Group Coordinator to plan a work event and could not have been more pleased with the service I received prior to and during the event. The coordinator helped plan the cocktail hour appetizers and even printed and framed menus based on the package we ordered and drinks we selected for the evening. (She even printed our company logo and slogan on the menu at no charge!) The Ricotta Meatballs and Bruschetta were fantastic, but the Arancini was the star of the show. I received positive feedback from my colleagues on all meal choices (Shrimp Picatta, Filet and Fettucine with Chicken.) Having the sides be 'family style' was a concern but there was not an empty plate in the room. Dessert was also fantastic (Limoncello Tiramisu and Flourless Chocolate Torta.)The main server for my table was amazing and would do check ins with me to ensure everything was running smoothly. The additional staff were friendly and extremely hardworking. Much respect and praise to the group for being able to handle such a large and loud group. :)
